WWE SmackDown Results – May 1, 2026

WWE SmackDown Results – May 1, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage results of WWE SmackDown on May 1, from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Cody Rhodes Opens the Show

We start off with a look back at Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns from Raw, highlighting the chaos and fallout from their confrontation.

Cody Rhodes then makes his way to the ring.

Cody asks the crowd what they want to talk about.

He says it’s always nice when he can give new information — and tonight, he has some. Earlier this evening, he met with the medical staff and Nick Aldis to determine whether he is medically cleared for action. Cody announces that he is cleared.

That leads to the next question: what’s next for Cody Rhodes on SmackDown?

Before he can continue, Ricky Saints interrupts.

Ricky Saints tells the crowd they boo what they don’t understand, then formally introduces himself. He calls himself the hottest, newest, flyest free agent in the business. If you don’t know about him, you better ask about him. He says he’s everything your baby mama wishes you were. He and Cody are no strangers, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that he’s out here. There’s a change in the air — a revolution — and the man leading it is him. It has always been him. He is the man.

Cody says he’s glad to have Ricky here, and Ricky knows exactly how Cody feels about him. But this is a bold move. Cody asks: what’s the difference between now and the last time Ricky stepped up to him?

Ricky says Cody is the difference. He’s standing in front of a man with staples in his head and a busted eye. Those title reigns have aged Cody thirty years. He might be wrong about the number, but he’s a former NXT and North American Champion. He stood in the background and congratulated Cody for milestone after milestone, even when it hurt his own career. Now he’s here to relieve Cody of his duties.

Cody says okay — that’s an easy thread to pull. He told the people of Tulsa he was cleared for action, and Ricky looks ready for action. Cody suggests they do it tonight.

They shake hands. Ricky starts to leave the ring, then stops. He turns back and says he didn’t come out here to make a statement — he came out to change who this show is about.

Cody reminds him he’s easy to find… and hard to beat.

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Rhea Ripley — Backstage With Cathy Kelley

We get a recap of last week’s chaos involving Fatal Influence before heading backstage, where Cathy Kelley is with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Cathy asks Charlotte about her match tonight and the numbers advantage she’s facing.

Rhea Ripley walks in and says she can answer that. Rhea reminds them she tried to take on Fatal Influence alone and got ambushed. She says she’ll put her issues aside.

Alexa appreciates the gesture, but Charlotte immediately shuts it down, saying they may have teamed before — but not again.

Rhea points out the obvious numbers situation.

Alexa again appreciates it, but Charlotte says she understands their alliance… and three’s a crowd.

Results for WWE SmackDown on May 1, 2026, continue after a commercial break.

Charlotte Flair vs. Jacy Jayne

Before the bell, Jacy takes the microphone. She says she has something to say — and she expected the reaction she’s getting. Last week was just a taste of what Fatal Influence is bringing to SmackDown. Someone couldn’t get enough of it, and she loves that. She thrives on it.

If there’s one thing they enjoy, it’s embarrassing a legend. Jacy says they’re going to take out everyone’s “precious little legends” one at a time. And who better to start with than Charlotte Flair?

They lock up and move into the corner, where Flair gives a clean break. Jacy fires a knee, but Flair sends her right back into the corner and unloads with chops. Flair grabs a side headlock and drops Jacy with a shoulder tackle, then shoves her down again.

Alexa Bliss punches Fallon, but Reid nails Alexa with a knee. Flair boots Reid off the apron, but Jacy blasts Flair with the rolling elbow and covers her for the three count.

Winner: Jacy Jayne

Jacy immediately orders Fallon and Lainey to attack Flair. Alexa tries to make the save, but Fallon kicks her to the floor and sends her into the ring steps.

Rhea Ripley’s music hits — and everything stops.

Rhea storms down and thrust‑kicks Fallon on the floor. She kicks Reid next and grabs Jacy for the Riptide, but Jacy slips free and shoves Rhea toward Flair. Rhea stops short, staring down both women as tensions spike.

Paige & Brie Bella — Backstage With Byron Saxton

Byron asks Paige and Brie about last week’s attack and what they just saw tonight. Brie says Fatal Influence are impressive and making a name for themselves, but their actions will catch up to them. Paige adds that karma is real and they’ll deal with them eventually, but right now their focus is on tonight’s tag title defense.

Byron asks how they plan to retain. Brie says their experience gives them the advantage.

R‑Truth, Axiom & Nathan Frazer With Damian Priest

R‑Truth is talking with Axiom and Nathan Frazer when Damian Priest walks up. Truth tells Priest he’s talking to “Los Americanos.” Priest says they deserve a title match and he looks forward to defending the belts tonight. Axiom clarifies they weren’t asking for a match, and Frazer says they’ll talk to Nick.

Truth says he was talking to them about taxes. Priest gets even more confused when Truth tells him he shouldn’t be handing out title matches to everyone.

The Miz & Kit Wilson Plot Against Danhausen

Kit Wilson and The Miz talk about their plan to capture Danhausen, blind him, and finally put an end to his chaos. Before they can get far, Danhausen spots the briefcase full of “the monies,” quietly opens it, pulls out $40,000, and walks away without either of them noticing.

Kit insists the plan should have worked. Miz opens the briefcase to check — and it sprays both Miz and Kit in the face.

Truth hits a corkscrew flying forearm while Priest connects with a side Russian leg sweep, giving Truth a near fall. Axiom slips out of a suplex, and Frazer tags in. Axiom sends Frazer toward Truth for a DDT, and Frazer gets a near fall. Axiom tags back in and kicks Truth, following with a forearm before Truth fires back with punches. Axiom hits a dropkick for another near fall and clamps on a sleeper.

Frazer tags in, and they hit stereo kicks for a near fall. Axiom tags again, goes up top, and leaps over Truth — but Truth catches him with a kick and a cutter out of a suplex setup. Priest and Frazer tag in, and Priest unloads with punches and a double back body drop. Priest hits corner elbows on both men, a cyclone kick to Axiom, and a package flatliner to Frazer.

Priest hits the rebound clothesline on Axiom and goes for South of Heaven, but Frazer lands on his feet and kicks Priest. Truth tags in and hits the two flying shoulder tackles and the Blue Thunder Bomb. Truth follows with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Axiom pulls Priest off the apron, and Frazer rolls up Truth while he’s distracted. Truth is sent to the floor, and Frazer hits a suicide dive on him while Axiom dives onto Priest. The show cuts to a commercial break. We will be back for more WWE SmackDown results for May 1, 2026.

Solo Sikoa, The Usos & The Bloodline Fracture

We return from commercial and the ring has been cleared of everyone except the Solo Squad.

Solo says that last week, Jacob Fatu made a big, big mistake. Even though Jacob took out his army, he took out his family. Talla’s family is his family. His brothers are his brothers. Talla’s blood is his blood. They’re not standing here because of Jacob — and when Jacob gets to this building, he’s a dead man walking.

The Usos’ music hits and Jimmy and Jey make their way to the ring.

Jimmy says they’re in their city. He says they get it — Solo has an issue with Jacob — but he needs to understand they’re not the only ones with issues. Roman has a big, big problem with Jacob too. The mistake wasn’t Jacob taking out Solo’s guys. The mistake was when Jacob put his hands on Roman.

Jey says not only did Jacob put his hands on Roman, he used the Tongan Death Grip — a move handed down through generations. He tells Talla that his dad used it. It’s a move of last resort. Whatever plans Solo has with Jacob need to wait until Roman is done with him.

Solo says there’s plenty of Jacob to go around.

Jey says they’re not asking — they’re telling him.

Solo laughs. He says he doesn’t have time for this and tells them they should go. He looks at Talla… then suddenly kicks Jey and chokeslams Jimmy.

Solo stands over them and says Roman isn’t his Tribal Chief — and they don’t give a damn. Whether Roman likes it or not, Jacob is a dead man.

Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn — Backstage

Cody walks in the back and Sami stops him, asking if Cody called him condescending and sarcastic. Sami says it wasn’t a mistake to call him the Golden Boy. Is Cody angry that Sami got to wear a gold cape and gold crown? Sami says they have to stick together. They’re the last of a dying breed — the last real good guys. They’re friends. They’re the same.

Cody says there’s a lot of truth in what Sami said… but they are not the same. Cody walks away.

We will return after a break with more results from the May 1, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Cody fires back with a powerslam, then hits Beautiful Disaster followed by the Cody Cutter. Cody sets Ricky up, but Ricky counters with a reverse swinging neckbreaker for a near fall.

Results for WWE SmackDown on May 1, 2026 continue after a commercial break.

Danhausen, The Miz & Kit Wilson — In‑Ring Segment

Danhausen drives to the ring in his vehicle and says he has something to share. He introduces himself and announces that he found “$400,” which he used to buy merchandise for the fans.

The Miz interrupts and heads to the ring. He says that ever since Danhausen arrived, bad things have happened to him — the vow renewal was ruined, his daughter’s bike was stolen, and he was blown up. Miz says he realizes now that he is cursed. So he’s ready to do something he never thought he would do: he will become Danhausen’s mentor.

They’re about to shake hands when Kit Wilson’s music hits. Kit asks Miz if he’s lost his mind — Miz was mentoring him. Now he’s enabling this “toxic little goblin.” Miz tells Kit that’s enough, but Kit insists Miz needs to wake up.

Miz says Danhausen has mastered the curse. He’s learned how to zone in on what it takes to be a superstar. Can Kit say the same? Kit wants to be Miz’s mentee, but he’s not even in the same league. Kit stops the handshake again and begs Miz to give them a chance. He says he’s written a poem. Kit wants Miz to shake his hand. Danhausen wants Miz to shake his hand.

Miz finally shakes Danhausen’s hand.

Royce says Roman is back on top and taking everything. He tells Fatu to “Werewolf up” and make sure Roman doesn’t take food off his table. He hopes WWE hasn’t taken the smell of the streets out of him.

Talla Tonga attacks Royce from behind, and Fatu immediately goes after Talla. Talla overpowers him and choke slams Fatu through a table.

Sami Zayn — In‑Ring Promo

The Gingerbread Man suit is in the ring, and Sami Zayn makes his way out. Sami asks if everyone is having fun. He says he’s being honest — he loves coming to Tulsa. He had a beautiful morning and visited the Bob Dylan Center. Dylan was a legend of folk music until he picked up an electric guitar; the people turned on him and booed him. Sami says he can relate.

He says he doesn’t know what he did to get some of the reactions he’s been getting, but it doesn’t bother him. Sami says he knows his ride‑or‑die fan club is in the house tonight, and there are millions more watching at home who will have his back. He says he can deal with some bad reactions.

Sami says he can deal with bad reactions — but he cannot deal with disrespect. The fact that someone like Trick Williams thinks he can play games with him? Sami says Trick and the Gingerbread Man are “fun,” but that’s a shell of a man wearing a costume… and that’s exactly what Trick is. It’s easy to do what Trick does: get great music, a great entrance, dance moves, and a catchphrase. That’s easy. What Sami does is hard.

Sami looks at the Gingerbread Man suit and says it’s funny, but that’s not what he sees. He sees Trick not taking him seriously. He sees disrespect. Sami says when he looks at this costume, he wants to— he balls up his fist, stops himself, and says he’s losing his marbles because he’s about to hit a Gingerbread Man in Tulsa.

Sami shakes its hand… then kicks it low. He follows with an elbow drop and punches, then rips off its arm.

Trick Williams’ music hits and he charges to the ring. Trick punches Sami and hits an uppercut. He sets for the running knee, but Sami bails to the floor and escapes into the crowd.

Trick checks on the destroyed costume, realizes the extent of the damage, and throws up the X.

The show goes to a commercial break. Results from the May 1, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown will continue shortly.

Backstage with Trick Williams

Cathy stands outside the trainer’s room and says she’s waiting for comments from Trick. Trick steps out and says Sami crossed the line. Last week, Sami took out Yachty. Tonight, he took out the Gingerbread Man. Trick says Sami messed with his money — and nobody does that. He does not play around when it comes to his money.

WWE SmackDown Preview – May 1, 2026

Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence steps into singles action tonight as she goes one‑on‑one with former multi‑time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Jayne, along with Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, made a loud impact during their SmackDown debut last Friday when Jayne interfered in a non‑title match featuring Flair and Alexa Bliss against Women’s Tag Team Champions Paige and Brie Bella. Later that same night, Jayne faced Rhea Ripley in a non‑title bout but came up short via disqualification after Henley and Reid jumped in. Tonight, Jayne looks to rebound — but Flair is never an easy target.

Fresh off his successful Undisputed WWE Championship defense against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42 Night One, Cody Rhodes appears tonight with something to say. Rhodes made it clear last Friday that he’s ready for whatever comes next, telling the locker room that anyone seeking a title shot knows exactly where to find him. With WrestleMania behind him and a new season beginning, Rhodes’ next challenger may not be far away.

Sami Zayn is also scheduled to appear after escalating his rivalry with Trick Williams. Two days before Williams dethroned him for the United States Championship at WrestleMania Night Two, Williams taunted Zayn with a gingerbread man on SmackDown. Zayn returned the favor last Friday by disguising himself as a gingerbread man and ambushing Williams and Lil Yachty. With tensions rising, Zayn has something on his mind tonight.

Former NXT standout Ricky Saints will make his official SmackDown debut after being teased in a vignette last week. Saints arrives with plenty of buzz and looks to make an immediate impact on the blue brand.

Jacob Fatu will also appear tonight following his confrontation with The Usos and Tama Tonga in last week’s opening segment. With his World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns set for WWE Backlash on May 9, Fatu continues preparing for the biggest opportunity of his career — and the Bloodline’s reaction to him remains unpredictable.
