Danhausen made a surprise appearance during the April 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, creating a chaotic sequence that impacted the Tag Team Title match.
Earlier in the night, Danhausen approached The Miz backstage and expressed interest in getting involved. Miz quickly shut the idea down, warning him to stay away from the match and clearly showing frustration with the situation.
Despite that warning, Danhausen appeared during the tag team title bout featuring Damian Priest and R-Truth against Miz and Kit Wilson. His entrance music hit mid-match, and he walked to the ring carrying his trademark teeth, immediately distracting everyone involved.
Danhausen attempted to insert himself by calling for a tag from Miz, which only added to Miz’s frustration. The referee intervened and ordered him off the apron, but the distraction had already disrupted the flow of the contest.
At one point, Danhausen tried to use his signature curse. Miz avoided it and pulled the referee into the line of fire. Moments later, the lights went out, adding another layer of confusion. When they came back on, Danhausen was seen sprinting up the aisle.
The match then quickly shifted toward its finish. Truth hit Kit Wilson with an Attitude Adjustment, but Miz responded with a Skull-Crushing Finale. However, the referee was unable to complete the count, selling the effects of Danhausen’s curse. That delay allowed Priest to capitalize, delivering South of Heaven to secure the three-count.
While Danhausen did not directly score the victory, his involvement played a key role in the outcome by throwing the match into disarray. His continued interactions with Miz suggest that this issue may carry on in the coming weeks.
