12/29 WWE RAW Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE RAW for December 29, from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.

Rey Mysterio is shown walking his dog into the Kia Center. The Usos are also in attendance. They’ll battle AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is walking backstage. She’ll put the title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

In the Arena:

The Vision, featuring WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, “Big” Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory, is backstage. They start walking, go through Gorilla Position, and make their entrance.

Paul starts the introduction but the crowd chants for Bron’s opponent next week.

Paul says CM Punk could have been standing here but he had to placate to all of you and stop listening to him. Paul says we will start this all over.

Paul does his introduction. He says what he says hypes up where he is going on the last Raw of 2025. Everything he says justifies something that needs no justiification. In five years when you scroll through whatever platform you are on and you will see the Wrestlemania main eventers.

Paul thanks the fans for chanting for Roman.

You will realize that five years ago, tonight, they are all standing in front of you, right here right now. Here is the sentence that matters. The rumors are true, the newest member of The Vision is Austin Theory. Paul tells Austin to earn his keep as he hands him the mic.

Theory says he has waited his entire life for this moment. He says he has worked his entire career for this moment. He says he has a lot of things he wants to talk about. First, he wants to talk about the next World Champion, Bron Breakker. Austin asks Paul to educate him on this part. Paul says the goals of the group outweighs the individual needs of any member of the group.

CM Punk’s music interrupts and he makes his way to the stage.

Punk tells Theory is doing tricks and drinking gallons of the Kool Aid. He is not out here to listen to Austin, he is out here to listen to the other kid, Bron Breakker. He says he has been called many things. He hopes someone in the group has a brain. Punk says he is looking at Paul to explain to Bron that the match is set for next week. He says he could come down there to say some things and you will do stuff to him. Then there is no title match next week.

Punk asks if he is tougher than he is smart. He says he likes to look someone in the eye before he puts him to sleep. Unless you are scared, why don’t we get your boys out of the ring so they can clear the air, face to face. Punk says he has a few things to say to Bron. He asks Bron if he is scared.

Punk gets on the ring steps.

Bron says the only one scared is you and he invites Punk into the ring. He says they won’t hurt him.

Paul suggests that everyone back up and let Bron do his thing on the mic. They leave the ring and Punk enters.

Punk asks Bron what does he have and he calls him kid.

Bron asks why are they standing here. Why do they exist and why are they here. They look at things towards the future. They look through the same lens. Look at Bronson Reed. Look at Logan Paul. Look at Austin Theory. Then there is him. He will be the next World Champion. Bron says he is so tired of Punk and everyone else saying he is the future and he will figure it out and main event Wrestlemania. Bron says he is not the future, he is the now. You have the audacity to say that he is the new shiny toy. You say he will fail under the shining lights and they will drop him. Go to the back and find out someone who can do what he can do. Find someone who has taken over in less time. Find someone who was born into this business. Find someone who is a bigger dog than him.

Bron says you may not like him because he hasn’t paid his dues. You think he has had everything handed to him and it was easy because of his lineage. Bron says everything he has had to do has been under a microscope. He has been held to the highest level. You don’t repsect him because I didn’t do it on the indies, but I was on the field with Lamar Jackson. Bron says he is willing to die for that title and so are you. Bron says he will let Punk. He will put Punk in the ground, beat him,and become the new World Champion.

Punk says your first mistake is assuming what he thinks of you. Did you think he would say you aren’t ready? You are more ready than anyone in the back and anyone in your group. Punk says he is not ready. You want what he’s got. Punk drops the title belt and he asks Bron to pick it up. It is heavier than you think. Punk says he has earned it and he is not ready to go. He is not ready to go into sold out arenas to have the privilege to ask if it is good to be alive in Orlando on a Monday night. He is not ready to stop being champion. You are big, bad, tough, and fast. We are not the same. One of us is CM Punk.

Some day, somebody is going to beat him for the title, but it won’t be you. Punk tells Bron he will see him next week.

Backstage:

Jackie Redmond catches up with Raquel Rodriguez backstage to ask about her title match later tonight and the chaos surrounding the division. Raquel says there will be no tricks, no interference, and no excuses, insisting that nobody is getting in the way of her becoming champion.

Liv Morgan then interrupts, pointing out that with JD and Dominik out of the picture, they need Raquel to handle business. Raquel pushes back, saying she can take care of this on her own, but Liv starts to mention Roxanne, prompting Raquel to ask what Roxanne said. Roxanne Perez then steps into the conversation herself, saying she and Liv want Raquel to win the championship. Roxanne wishes her luck, but Raquel coldly responds that she doesn’t need luck.

WWE Women’s World Championship
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Nikki Bella vs. Raquel Rodriguez

They circle and Raquel yells at Stephanie and Nikki pushes Raquel. Raquel pushes Nikki. Raquel with a shoulder tackle to Nikki. Vaquer with a rollup on Raquel and Nikki ruins the Devil’s Kiss. Nikki goes to the floor and she drop kicks Raquel when Vaquer moves. Nikki sends Vaquer into the ringside barrier. Nikki sends Raquel into the ring steps. Nikki sends Vaquer into the ring and then into the turnbuckles. Nikki with an Irish whip and a clothesline into the corner. Nikki goes to the turnbuckles and Raquel sends Vaquer to the mat and pulls Nikki off the turnbuckles. Raquel slams Nikki and follows with a forearm to the back. Raquel with shoulders to Vaquer in the corner and a splash to Nikki. Raquel with a splash to Vaquer followed by lawnmower elbows. Raquel with a snap mare and she gets a near fall.

Vaquer with a shoulder to the midsection but Raquel with a shoulder tackle and she gets a near fall. Vaquer with a top wrist lock and chin bar. Vaquer with an elbow drop for a near fall. Vaquer returns to the top wrist lock but Vaquer with elbows. Nikki goes for a cross body off the turnbuckles and Raquel catches her and hits a fallaway slam. Raquel with a knee and a Gory Special to Vaquer. Vaquer escapes but Raquel with a shoulder tackle and she gets Vaquer back in the Gory Special. Raquel with a bridge and she gets a near fall. Vaquer with a sunset flip on Raquel for a near fall and Nikki kicks Raquel. Vaquer sets for Devil’s Kiss on Nikki but Raquel with a kick to stop it.

Raquel sends Nikki to the floor and Raquel with a forearm to Vaquer. Raquel misses a splash and Vaquer is sent to the apron. Vaquer goes up top and Nikki pulls Vaquer off the turnbuckles. Raquel misses a kick and Nikki drops the leg on the ropes. Vaquer with a cross body to Raquel. Nikki sends Vaquer into the ring post and Nikki with an STF on Raquel. Raquel escapes and Raquel with a knee bar. Vaquer puts Raquel in the Devi’s Kiss and hits it. Nikki holds her knee since Raquel still had the knee bar applied. Vaquer sends Nikki into thet urnbuckles and hits running knees on Rauel. Nikki with a boot to Vaquer. Vaquer blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw. Raquel misses a boot in the corner and gets caught in the ropes.

Vaquer with a dragon screw to Raquel. Nikki with a leg sweep to Vaquer on the apron. Raquel grabs both and they stop Raquel. Raquel with clotheslines to Vaquer and Nikki on the apron. Raquel hot shots Nikki on the announce table. Raquel gets a near fall on Vaquer. Raquel kicks Vaquer a few times. Raquel with boots and Vaquer blocks a kick and kicks Raquel in the leg. Vaquer with a head butt and Raquel with a clothesline for a near fall. Raquel hot shots Nikki on the apron. Nikki kicks Raquel away but Raquel sends Nikki back to the mat. Raquel with a twisting Vader Bomb elbow drop for a near fall. Raquel kicks Nikki and then she punches Vaquer and returns to the lawnmower elbows. Raquel puts Vaquer on the turnbuckles and Vaquer with forearms. Vaquer with a boot.

Vaquer with a triangle in the ropes and Nikki with a drop kick to Vaquer. Nikki goes up top and Raquel with a forearm. Raquel gets Nikki on her shoulders and Vaquer gets on the turnbuckles. Nikki with a sunset flip power bomb to Raquel while Raquel superplexes Vaquer. Nikki gets near falls on both. Raquel gets Vaquer up and Nikki with a boot to Vaquer. Nikki gets a near fall on Raquel. Raquel blocks a head scissors take down. Nikki lands on he feet and Nikki with a back elbow. Nikki with a springboard round kick. Vaquer with a butterfly face buster for a near fall. Vaquer with a jaw breaker to Raquel and Raquel blocks a tornado DDT. Vaquer with an inside cradle to counter a suplex for a near fall. Raquel with a clothesline to Vaquer and she pulls Vaquer into the corner. Nikki pulls Vaquer out of the ring to keep Raquel from hitting the double jump twisting Vader Bomb elbow drop.

Nikki with a rollup for a near fall on Raquel. Raquel gets Nikki and Vaquer up for a doubel Tejana Bomb but Vaquer escapes. Raquel hits the Tejana Bomb on Nikki and Nikki pulls Raquel to the floor and Vaquer pins Nikki.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer

Backstage:

Jackie Redmond stops Gunther to ask whether he’s been disrespectful to John Cena, and Gunther bluntly responds that he made Cena tap out. R-Truth then steps in, telling Gunther the disrespect has to stop, saying that every week Gunther repeats the same song and that making John Cena tap out makes him a piece of trash, whispering the last insult directly into Gunther’s ear and adding that Gunther is not a good person and he won’t allow it to continue. Gunther laughs it off, asking if that was supposed to be a challenge, and tells Truth he’ll see him in the ring.

In the Arena:

Kairi Sane and Asuka make their way to the ring.

Asuka says last week she faced Rhea Ripley and she beat her. Asuka says you all think your stupid Mami can take on Asuka. Asuka screams in Japanese. She says all of you stupid baby.

Sane repeats what Asuka said. Sane says Iyo never should have offended her.

Asuka yells KAIRI and it forces her to jump a foot. Asuka takes Kairi’s mic.

Asuka clears her throat and she says last week Iyo and Rhea paid for their disrespect. Asuka says nobody is ready for Kabuki Warriors.

Rhea Ripley’s music plays and she makes her way to the stage wtih Iyo Sky.

They walk to the ring.

Kairi and Asuka wait for them in the ring and then they leave when Rhea and Iyo get to the ring.

Rhea and Iyo go to the floor after Asuka and Kair. Rhea with a super kick to Asuka but Sane runs Iyo’s back into the announce table. Rhea punches Sane. Asuka hits Rhea from behind and then Asuka sends Iyo over the ringside barrier. Asuka and Sane with forearms and double sledges to Rhea’s back. Sane goes up top but Iyo pushes Sane off the turnbuckles. Iyo kicks Asuka and Rhea with a pommel kick. Sane escapes RipTide but Rhea with a back elbow and a Shining Wizard.

– Rey is in the back and Punk stops by. Rey says he knows Punk will have his back, but Rey says he is good. You have a title to defend next week. Rey says he is covered tonight.

Gunther vs. R Truth

Gunther makes his way to the ring and he has to address the crowd. Gunther says your anger is misdirected. Direct it to your super hero who tapped out like a bitch.

Truth with punches and chops followed by a kick. Truth misses a scissors kick and Gunther with a chop and kick. Gunther with a slam. Gunther with a chop but Truth with forearms. Gunther with another chop and Truth goes down. Truth lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and Truth with a sleeper. Gunther backs Truth into the corner and Gunther with a chop on the break. Gunther with a clothesline. Truth with two flying shoulder tackles but Gunther with a boot and a power bomb. Gunther pulls Truth up at two. Gunther with elbows to the clavicle and he applies the sleeper. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Gunther

Backstage:

Jimmy asks Jey if he is ready to win the titles back. Jimmy asks Jey if everything is okay. Jey says he feels like nothing is going right with him. It is one thing to be in a bad spot, but he doesn’t want to put his brother in a bad spot. Jimmy says Jey is a champion and an eight time tag team champion. Jimmy says Jey has everyone ready to yell that word.

Byron Saxton is in the Interstitial Interview area and he wants to talk about The Judgment Day and he brings out Finn Balor. Byron asks about 2025 for the group. Finn says 2025 has been a difficult year. Tonight, Raquel was unsuccessful in the ring. JD is out hurt. He found out that Dom is out indefinitely. It is the holiday season and it is a time for hope. Finn says it got him thinking about his time in Orlando. It got him thinking about his time in NXT. It got him thinking about how he carried that brand on his back and carried it into the future. There are no leaders in the Judgment Day but he will reach down and he will help up JD, pick up Dom, and put the entire group on his back and he will carry them all into the future. Next year, he is bringing championship gold into the Judgment Day.

Backstage:

Je’Von Evans approaches AJ Styles and Dragon Lee backstage to wish them luck, explaining that Adam Pearce specifically asked him to be there. AJ responds by suggesting that maybe they can run it back down the line wherever Evans ends up. El Grande Americano then steps in to address Je’Von, and Evans makes it clear he has a lot of respect for everyone involved and isn’t running from anyone. AJ and Dragon Lee re-enter the scene, creating a tense moment that strongly hints at a future “matchception,” with Dragon Lee translating what Americano had to say.

Backstage:

Elsewhere, Paul Heyman approaches Austin and asks if he’s really going to let Rey Mysterio ruin his night. Paul and the group congratulate Austin on being added, assuring him that they have his back. Logan Paul admits he isn’t the most humble guy and is one of the biggest stars in the world, but says even he was nervous on his first day, emphasizing that having backup matters. Paul then tells Logan to head to the ring with Austin so they can bond while they take care of a Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio vs. Austin Theory

They lock up and Theory backs Rey into the corner. Theory with a clothesline in the corner. Theory with another clothesline in the corner. Theory with a hard Irish whip and a back breaker. Theory gets Rey up but Rey escapes and connects with ab ack elbow and kick. Rey goes to the turnbuckles for a head scissors take down. Theory with a clothesline. Theory with a punch and he sends Rey into the turnbuckles. Rey with a jaw breaker and Theory misses a splash in the corner. Theory with a drop toe hold to send Rey into the turnbuckles. Theory goes for the slingshot rolling drop kick but Rey counters with a rana to send Theory into the ropes. Theory avoids a 619 and they go to the floor. Theory sends Rey into the ring post.

Theory chokes Rey in the ropes. Theory with a sternum first Irish whip and Theory gets a near fall. Theory stomps on the hand. Rey counters a suplex with an inside cradle for a near fall. Theory with a clothesline. Theory with a Garvin Stomp. Theory with a kick and punches in the corner. Theory with an elbow to Rey and he punches Rey. Theory puts Rey against the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders to the back. Theory with a forearm. Theory puts Rey on the turnbuckles. Rey with elbows to knock Theory off the turnbuckles, but Theory puts Rey in the tree of woe. Theory goes for a shoulder in the corner but Rey pulls himself up and Theory hits the turnbuckles.

Rey with a seated splash and a head scissors. Rey with shoulders in the corner and he punches Theory. Theory with a thrust kick for a near fall. Theory with knees to the midsection and he gets Theory on his shoulders for a torture rack. Rey counters with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Rey with a head scissors that sends Theory into the ropes and he hits a 619. Logan takes care of Rey and the referee calls fro the bell.

Winner: Rey Mysterio (by disqualification)

After the match, Logan and Theory work over Rey until Penta’s music plays and he makes his way tot he ring and he hits a head scissors on Logan followed by a drop kick from Rey that sends Logan into the ropes. Rey with a 619.

Backstage:

Rhea tells Asuka she is delusional. You are the one who betrayed Iyo, broke her face, and misted both of them. You hide behind Kairi. You say we disrespect you, but you are the ones disrespecting. Next week, she will break Asuka. Iyo tells Kairi that she is lost and it is too late. You have chosen the wrong path. Iyo says she is stronger than Asuka and she has pssed the teacher. They will teach you respect when we become the new tag team champions.

Grayson Waller interrupts Byron Saxton in the Interstitial Interview Area. Waller asks who is going to win tonight. Waller asks Woods and Kofi who is going to win and they say nobody. There will only be losers and Orlando is used to losers. Kofi says they told you once AJ Styles and Dragon Lee won the titles, the division died on the spot. If the Usos win, that means the titles and division will have gone straight to hell. Woods says this is where they are supposed to say they will be waiting in the wings. If you are the champions, you should want to test yourself against the New Day. They are the greatest tag team of all time.

In the Arena:

Maxxine Dupri makes her way to the ring.

Maxxine says she had a great holiday because of you and she wouldn’t be champion without the fans. Maxxine tells Becky we all know the truth. You can tell people you are the real IC Champion. Last week, you had no choice but to tap out when I got a hold of you ankle. She won’t give up this title.

Becky Lynch’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.

She says she did not tap out. She says the only thing she tapped out to is living in Orlando. Don’t boo because you lost her but cheer because you had her. She says if you get rich and famous you can move out of here too.

Maxxine says to choose wisely. If she gets hold of that, she will break it or you submit again.

Becky says you are moody. She says she didn’t come out to fight and she doesn’t start them. She finishes them. She came to give her cr-cr-edit. She says she thought Maxxine was the worst thing she has seen. Over the last few months, you have gotten a tiny bit better. You were able to steal a title from her.

Maxxine says the only thing she has stolen is the spotlight. She will prove it next week. You won’t get to blame anyone after next week.

Becky says she came out to be nice. If you think four weeks of training in a dungeon will compare to a lifetime of what she has done. She says she didn’t get there because it was given to her. She climbed over every injustice perpetrated on her. It isn’t over until she wins and she finds a way to win. In one week, all eyes will be on you and you have to ask yourself if you are everything they think you are. Will you be everything that she knows you are.

Backstage:

Trick Williams is with Adam Pearce and Pearce talks about trying to put him on Mondays.

Bayley and Lyra show up. Lyra asks if you thought about them and the tag division. She says they want next. Pearce says it was going to be Roxanne and Liv. Bayley and Lyra argue about why they are getting the chance. Bayley calls Pearce an idiot and Lyra tries to explain what Bayley meant.

– Tessitore mentions that they will be moving to Smackdown while Corey and Cole will be on Raw.

– Next week, there will be a tie in with Stranger Things. Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley face Kairi Sane and Asuka for the Women’s Tag Titles. Becky Lynch faces Maxxine Dupri for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Bron Breakker faces CM Punk for the Men’s World Championship.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (c) vs. The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso)

AJ and Jey start things off. They lock up and Jey backs AJ into the corner and there is a clean break. AJ with a waist lock and Jey with a back elbow. AJ with an Irish whip and Jey floats over and connects with an uppercut. AJ with a Phenomenal drop kick. Lee tags in and they hit a double back elbow. Jimmy is given a double hip toss and then Jimmy is sent into the ropes awkwardly on a head scissors. Jimmy and Jey go to the floor and Jimmy walks gingerly with his brother. Jey returns to the ring and Lee with punches. Lee with punches from the turnbuckles. Lee gets a Yeet from the crowd before the tenth punch. AJ tags in and he kicks Jey. AJ with a suplex and he gets a near fall.

Lee tags in and Jey backs Lee into the corner and Jimmy tags in and connects with a forearm in the corner for a near fall. Jimmy with a reverse chin lock. Jimmy with head butts and a sunset flip attempt but Lee blocks it and hits a double stomp. Lee with a hesitation drop kick in the corner for a near fall. AJ tags in and he kicks Jimmy. AJ with a chop and kick. AJ with forearms. AJ with a back elbow and Jey with an enzuigiri from the apron. Jey tags in and they make a wish with AJ. Jey with boots to the abdomen. Jimmy tags in and Jey chops AJ. AJ with a kick and Lee tags in. Lee with a head scissors take down and he hits a running kick into the corner followed by a leg sweep and slingshot kick.

Lee misses a flying forearm and Jimmy with a dragon whip. Jey tags in and Lee floats over and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Lee kicks Jey to the floor and Jimmy trips Lee and pulls him to the floor. Jimmy sends Lee into the ring steps and then Jimmy adjusts the announce table. AJ with a forearm off the ring steps to Jimmy. Jey with a suicide dive to send AJ onto the announce table. Jimmy pushes Lee into the ring. Jey with a head butt and Jimmy tags in. Jimmy with a chop in the corner. Jimmy stomps on Lee’s hand. Jimmy chokes Lee in the ropes. Jey with a punch to Lee when the referee focuses on Jimmy. Jimmy with aa chop and punches

Jimmy sets for the running hip but misses when Lee moves. Jey tags in and he knocks AJ off the apron before he can tag in. Jimmy tags in and he kicks Lee in the ribs. Jimmy with a chop. Jimmy puts Lee on the turnbuckles and chops him. Jimmy goes up top. Lee puts Jimmy in the tree of woe and he sets for a double stomp and hits it. AJ and Jey tag in and AJ with forearms and kicks. AJ with a back elbow and a clothesline. AJ with a sliding forearm and he takes care of Jimmy. AJ with an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. AJ signals for a Styles Clash but Jey escapes. Jey kicks Lee and hits a spear. Jimmy tags in and he goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall.

Jimmy gestures to Jey for what is next. Jey tags in and they both go up top for the double splash. Lee kicks Jimmy off the turnbuckles and Jey misses a splash in the corner. Lee with a suicide dive to Jimmy over the announce table. AJ with a rollup for a near fall. Jey with a super kick and AJ with a Pele Kick. AJ with a Styles Clash for a near fall. AJ tags in Lee and he puts Jey on the top rope. Lee with a double stomp to the back and AJ sets for a Styles Clash. Jimmy with a super kick to Lee and AJ is sent to the apron. AJ goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but he is met ith a double super kick. They do the same to Lee and hit 1D on Lee. Jey pins Lee for the three count.

Winners: Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso (new champions)

Austin Theory’s bid to secure his place in The Vision continues tonight after he and Bronson Reed scored a major victory over Rey Mysterio and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk last Monday on Raw. The celebration didn’t last long, however — Bron Breakker blindsided Punk with a spear, sending a message ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match on January 5. With tensions boiling over, The Vision will open tonight’s show with something to say, and Theory will also step into singles action against Rey Mysterio.

Stephanie Vaquer will defend the Women’s World Championship in a high‑stakes Triple Threat Match against Raquel Rodriguez of Judgment Day and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. Nikki previously failed to dethrone Vaquer at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, but she made sure Rodriguez didn’t get her own clean shot at the title either — interfering in their December 15 match and causing a no contest. With all three women now colliding at once, the champion faces her toughest challenge yet.

After successfully defending the World Tag Team Championship against The War Raiders on December 8, Dragon Lee and AJ Styles will once again put the titles on the line — this time against Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. The Usos announced their reunion as a tag team during a heated post‑match confrontation on December 8 involving New Day and Grayson Waller. With Lee and Styles proving themselves as fighting champions and The Usos looking to reclaim their former dominance, tonight’s title match has the potential to reshape the tag team division.
