AEW Officially Signs Hyan and Maya World Following Worlds End Appearance

AEW Signs Hyan and Maya World Following Worlds End Appearance – All Elite Wrestling has officially added Hyan and Maya World to its roster, confirming the signings during tonight’s Worlds End pay-per-view. The announcement came after the duo competed on the Zero Hour pre-show, marking another step forward in their growing presence within the company.

Hyan and Maya World faced Sisters of Sin members Julia Hart and Skye Blue in a short match during Zero Hour. While the two newcomers were unable to secure a victory against the established AEW talents, the appearance itself proved significant. Shortly after the bout, AEW President Tony Khan took to social media to confirm that both wrestlers are now officially part of the promotion.

“They wrestled another fantastic match at the #AEWWorldsEnd Zero Hour tonight, and now it’s official: @_thehyan + @MayaWorldd are All Elite! Thank you all watching AEW Worlds End right now!”

The signing follows several weeks of appearances that began under unusual circumstances. Hyan and Maya World first competed on the November 8 episode of AEW Collision, stepping in on short notice to face TayJay, the team of Anna Jay and Tay Melo. They replaced Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell after the originally scheduled competitors walked out prior to the match. That willingness to step up reportedly played a role in AEW’s decision-making process.

Since that initial Collision appearance, Hyan and Maya World have continued to work multiple matches across AEW programming. While they have yet to pick up a win on television, the company has consistently featured them in competitive situations against more experienced opponents. Their repeated usage suggested that AEW officials saw long-term potential in the pairing well before the official announcement.

With the signing now confirmed, Hyan and Maya World become the latest additions to AEW’s women’s division. Their continued exposure on television, combined with the opportunity to develop within the promotion, positions them as a team to watch going forward as AEW looks to further strengthen and expand its roster.
