Ava is in the ring with the women in the Iron Survivor Match.
She mentions that it is a privilege to be picked by John Cena. The winner will be the number one contender for the World Title.
Sol says Ethan Page gave her some unsolicited advice. He said that she was world champion caliber. Normally, she does not listen to Ethan, but if he sees her this way, she needs to see herself that way. She has had her highs and her lows. She went from a double champion with her friend by her side to being empty handed. Her life has become a little complicated. There is a simple path to get her peace back. Winning at Deadline and becoming the Women’s champion.
Jordynne says that is nice, but the path is not that simple. She says she has come so close too many times. There is no one who can stop her.
Lola tells Jordynne to be quiet. She is not the only one grinding. Cena picked them for a reason. No matter how many times she has gotten screwed, she believes in herself. If it weren’t for Lainey, she would be the world champion.
Kendal says the only champion in here is her. She knows she is an underdog, but she always rises to the level of her competition. This will be one fo the toughest challenges and she is built for that.
Kelani tells Kendal to shut up. She might be Evolve champion but you are swimming with sharks and there is blood in the water. How many more failed attempts will it take for Lola or Jordynne to realize they are not champion material. This match is electrifying and dynamic. She says there are only two people who have been in this match before and it is her and Sol. You can talk a big game, but she will be the winner. You are stand ins, but she is the stand out.
NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne comes out with Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Jacy says she cannot wait to see who the lucky loser at New Year’s Evil will be. Now that the title is around her waist, all order has been restored in NXT. That brings her to her next question. In what world will any of you losers change that.
Sol, poor Sol with her broken heart and bump leg. Kendal, the flavor of the month is over her head. She run it back with Jordynne or Lola and they can choke again. She likes that Kelani is showing some spine. You are a bit confident for someone who lost their title last week.
Kelani says she would be champion if not for this meat head. Kelani and Grace start to fight and everyone else joins in.
– We go to Joe Henry and Thea Hail and they talk about John Cena picking Joe for the Iron Survivor Match. He menions his eight man tag match. Channing Lorenzo and Arianna Grace walk by and Thea asks what is so happy. Grace says that Thea let Joe down. Chelsea should have picked a real power couple. Thea says if Joe believes in her, she can kick Arianna’s ass.
We go to commercial.
Thea Hail vs. Arianna Grace
Thea pushes Grace and they lock up. Thea with a side head lock and Grace with a reversal and take down. Grace with an arm bar. Thea with an arm drag and Channing toes between Grace’s legs to distract Thea. Grace with a double thrust to the throat and a swinging neck breaker. Grace with an Irish whip. Grace does the Hendry turn to mock him. Thea with a series of rollups for near falls. Thea sends Grace to the floor and Thea with a suicide dive. Thea has some words for Channing before hitting an uppercut in the corner and an exploder. Thea with a kick and then Channing tries to trip her and Joe with Standing Ovation onto the apron.
Grace with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. Thea with a kimura and Grace taps.
Winner: Thea Hail
– We see Bronco Nima and Lucien Price walking in the parking lot and they almost get hit by Uriah and Kale. Andre tells them not to have any problem. Andre wants to know how stupid Uriah and Kale are.
We go to commercial.
– Ava is with Je’Von, Leon, Myles, and Joe. They talk about facing Dark State. Robert Stone arrives with a package that is opened. Ava says she will deal with it. She asks Stone to deal with the contract signing. Ava says that if they win, then the person who gets the pin gets to pick their spot, but if Dark State wins, Dion gets to pick his spot. The contents of the box is poured onto the table.
Josh Briggs vs. Tavion Heights
They fight on the floor before the match and Josh sends Tavion into the ring steps. Tavion backs Josh into the apron. Josh with elbows.
They get into the ring and the referee starts the match. Tavion with punches and Josh with a choke slam for a near fall. Josh with a boot in the corner but Tavion with a German suplex and a clothesline for a near fall. Tavion with a waist lock and take down. Tavion with another waist lock and Josh grabs the hair but Tavion with a take down. Tavion with forearms. Josh punches Tavion and Tavion blocks a boot and hits a T-Bone suplex for a near fall. Tavion wtih a forearm and a fireman’s carry. Tavion gets a near fall. Tavion with a boot and forearms. Josh sends Tavion to the floor and Josh with a boot when Tavion tries to get back into the ring.
Tavion runs Josh through the ringside barrier because of shoddy construction. Tavion with forearms to the back. Tavion sends Josh back into the ring.Josh with a kick when Tavion crawls back into the ring. Josh chokes Tavion in the corner. Josh with a kick to Tavion and he slams Tavion. Josh gets a near fall. Josh works on the arm and he applies a hammer lock and he drops Tavion’s arm onto the top rope. Josh kicks Tavion and he wraps the arm in the ropes. Josh with a hammer lock and STO for a near fall. Josh with a top wrist lock. Tavion with punches and Josh with a side slam and splash for a near fall.
Josh with an elbow drop to the arm and he applies a Fujiwara arm bar but he has his foot on the ropes and the referee tells Josh to release the hold. Josh misses an elbow drop. Tavion with a drop kick. Josh sends Tavion into the turnbuckles. Josh with punches to Tavion. Josh with an Irish whip. Josh with another Irish whip and an elbow in the corner. Josh with an Irish whip but he misses an elbow. Tavion with a hip toss. Tavion with clotheslines. Tavion with sling blade. They bump heads and go to their knees. Josh has the hcain but Tavion takes it. Tavion with a belly-to-belly suplex but Josh gets his foot on the ropes to stop the count.
Tavion has some words with the referee and Josh with a forearm to the back of the head. Josh with a clothesline and he gets the three count.
Winner: Josh Briggs
– Izzi Dame walks in the back with Shawn Spears and Niko Vance.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Izzi Dame leas Shawn Spears and Niko Vance to the ring.
Izzi says looking around, she gets it. She gets why you love Tatum so much. You are like her. You don’t know how to be alone. She says she gave Tatum everything. How many chances is too many? When does a person get so pathetic that you cannot save them. Izzi says she has been asked “Why Izzi? Why did you betray Tatum?” Izzi says she corrected a mistake when Tatum thought she was an equal. She had not right to doubt the person who pulled her out of the hell hole.
When all of you ignored Tatum and when she was known as the little weirdo freak, she carved purpose into Tatum. She gave her a voice and gave her confidence. Tatum continued to trip over the same insecurities she tripped over. She was so stubborn. Izzi says with everything they gave Tatum wasn’t good enough for her. Is it a coincidence that Tatum didn’t become a champion until she took Tatum under her wing. Tatum only became champion because she allowed her. Everything she gives, she can take, and she did. She took everything from Tatum because Tatum owed her. Tatum ignored her. You do not get the chance to ignore her when you stand side by side. That is why they are having a match on Saturday and she will finish off Tatum.
She tells Tatum that she ends the version of Tatum that wouldn’t evolve.
Tatum says she is all alone. She wonders why did Izzi take away what made her stable. You took what was most important to her.
Izzi says that Tatum is pathetic and predictable. She tells Tatum to bring her ass out here. She asks if Tatum is too scared.
Tatum says she is scared because she doesn’t know what she will become without Izzi on her shoulder. She will have to make Izzi feel all of her pain.
– Sol Ruca apologizes to Zaria for not being out there. Zaria says that Sol is moving on. She tells Sol to do what she wants and she won’t be at ringside with Sol. Wren says she will be out there even though she isn’t as scary as Zaria. Sol apologizes again.
We go to commercial.
Kendal Grey, Lola Vice, and Sol Ruca vs. Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Lainey Reid
Reid and Lola start things off and they push each other. The other four enter the ring and they pair off. Lola sends Reid to the floor and Lola with a seated splash off the apron and she dances, but her recital is over when Fallon does a Tiger Feint Kick around the ring post. Kendal with a cross body and then Jacy with a suicide dive. Sol with a moonsault to the floor. Lola kicks Reid in the corner and sends her into the turnbuckles. Sol tags in and she hits a hip into the corner. Sol with a snap mare and a kick followed by a moonsault for a near fall. Reid blocks a suplex and Reid with a punch. Fallon tags in an she kicks Sol and they send her to the mat for a near fall. Fallon with a front face lock. Sol with a forearm and she sends Fallon into the turnbuckles. Grey with a fireman’s carry and arm bar. Fallon backs her into the corner and connects with a shoulder. Grey floats over and she gives Fallon a leg sweep and drop kick for a near fall.
Fallon with a boot and Reid tags in and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Grey with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Jacy tags in and Grey with a rollup for a near fall. Jacy blocks an O’Connor Roll and Reid tags in. Grey with forearms to Reid and Jacy but Fallon pulls Grey off the apron and then Reid with a double stomp and Jacy with a back senton. No need to worry about trying to win so they pose. Reid with an elbow to the back of the neck. Reid with an Irish whip and a running uppercut. Jacy tags in and kicks Grey in teh corner and chokes her. Jacy with a back elbow and she gets a near fall. Fallon tags in and she kicks Grey. Fallon with a cravate and knees. Reid tags in and she works on Grey’s back. Grey with a sunset flip for a near fall. Reid keeps Grey from making the tag Reid with an arm drag and an elbow drop.
Fallon tags in and she works on the neck. Fallon with a take down and chop. Jacy tags in and she kicks Grey. Fallon tags in and she applies a cravate. Grey with punches and Fallon with a knee. Reid and Jacy tag in. Fallon with a flp jack followed by a blockbuster from Reid. Jacy with a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Jacy with a thrust kick and she hits Sol. Jacy with a running hip to Grey. Fallon tags in and they go for a double belly-to-back suplex but Grey lands on her feet. Lola tgs in and she kicks and punches Jacy and Fallon. Lola with the Naomi kicks to Jacy. Lola pulls Reid into the ring and sends her into the corner. Lola with Shakira running hips to Jacy and Reid. Lola with a belly-to-back suplex to Fallon for a near fall.
Sol with a boot to the back and a shoulder breaker for a near fall. Jacy with a thrust kick to Lola and a forearm to Grey. Sol with a thrust kick and she sends Jacy to the floor. Fallon with a rollup for a near fall and she gives Sol a drop toe hol. Jacy with a blockbuster for a near fall. Grey with a wheelbarrow into a flatliner. Fallon with a flying hair take down. Sol with a slingshot X Factor to Fallon. Jacy with a rollup to Sol for a near fall Sol with Sol Snatcher for the three count.
Winner: Sol Ruca
After the match, Sol moves and Zaria spears Kendal Grey. They argue.
– We see NXT Anonymous.
Je’Von says he will not have the same result as last year. Ricky tells Je’Von he is going to win and Oba isn’t even in the match. Je’Von says that Oba is going to beat Ricky. Je’Von brings up their past conversations. Ricky says that Je’Von is a future champion. Je’Von says he is on a roll. Ricky says that Je’Von is the favorite to win on Saturday. Evans says that Ricky will wrestle in MSG some day.
We go to commercial.
– Dion says if he is going for tag gold, one of them needs the title. He gives it to Saquon but he is hesitant. Oba Femi does the Oba walk. He says the ruler has arrived. He tells Dion that he made it to the Iron Survivor. Dion says the last time they stood face to face, you blew him off. John Cena thinks otherwise. He is a two time tag team champion. He says he hopes he gets Oba at New Year’s Evil. He would love to snatch his gold. Oba tells Dion not to look too far into the future.
Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon vs. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price
Uriah and Kale attack Nima and Price and then they send them to the floor. Uriah and Kale with stereo suicide dives. Uriah goes up top and he hits a swanton on Price for a near fall. Price with a clothesline and Nima tags in. Nima with a punch and kick. Price tags in and he punches Uriah. Nima tags in and he connects with a forearm. Price tags in and he misses a splash and Kale tags in. Kale with punches to Price and then he knocks Nima off the apron. Kale with a knee to send Nima to the floor and Kale with a chop to the back. Price with a thrust kick and Nima tags in. Price with a splash intot eh corner and Nima with a jumping stomp but he pulls him up.
Nima with a forearm an he tags in Price. Price catches Kale and he drops him onto Nima’s knee. Price gets a near fall. Nima tags in and Price runs into a boot. Price goes for a choke slam but Kale with a Codebreaker. Uriah tags in and he kicks Price and Nima. Uriah leaps over Nima and he connects with a kick. Nima sends Uriah to the apron and Uriah with a kick and a singshot tornado DDT for a near fall. Kale with kcisk to Price and Nima. Kale with a kick and Uriah with a springboard cutter. Kale and Uriah with cross bodies off the apron and Nima and Price catch them and runs them into each other. Pirce with the assisted spinebuster for the three count.
Winners: Bronco Nima and Lucien Price
Ethan Page and Ava are in the parking lot. Ethan says he wants to thank John Cena for all of the talent a chance. That means he is off on Saturday. Ava says that the title hasn’t been defended since Halloween Havoc. Ethan says no one in NXT is worthy to face him. Mr. Iguana shows up and Ethan leaves his vehicle. He drives Ethan’s vehicle away.
– Shiloh Hill is back and he talks about Thanksgiving. He says he tried raccoon for the first time. He talks about riding a snowmobile when he was younger and how he suped it up. He mentions that he crashed and he thought he might freeze to death. He talks about how he tried to find things to keep him warm. He says he felt so alive and then he heard the wolves. What if he got eaten by wolves. He never would have been on LFG or be coached by the Undertaker. He says it was cool to have a coach he connected with.
– Vic and Corey run through the NXT Deadline card.

Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne vs. Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, and Osiris Griffin in a Who gets to Pick their Spot in the Iron Survivor Match
Myles and Osiris start things off. They lock up and Osiris sends Myles face first to the mat. Myles with a wist lock and Osiris with a back elbow and a running knee. Saquon tags in and Osiris with a slam and Myles gets his knees up when Osiris tries to slam Saquon onto him. Saquon with a cravate and a shoulder tackle. Saquon returns to the cravate and Myles with a power slam for a near fall. Myles with a European uppercut and a GTR or a near fall. Joe tags in and they hit a doubel back elbow. Joe with a side head lock and he connects with a shoulder tackle. Joe with a hip toss and a neck breaker for a near fall. Joe with a fallaway slam but Saquon lands on his feet and he tags in Cutler. Cutler with an uppercut and oe escapes a slam. Leon tags in and he hits a drop kick. Leon sends Cutler into teh corner and Leon with a clothesline. Evans tags in and hits a splash. Leon with a clothesline to Cutler and Evans with a double stomp to the back for a near fall.
Evans with an elbow to the shoulder. Evans with a chop and Cutler with a chop of his own. Evans with a chop but Cutler with a back breaker for a near fall. Cutler with an Irish whip and Dion atgs in and he punches Evans. Evans with a springboard head scissors and he gets a near fall. Myles tags in and Myles with a back elbow. Dion with a spine buster. Saquon tags in and Saquon with a drop toe hold and Dion with a knee drop. Dion punches Joe off the apron. All eight men get in and they throw punches.
Leon and Evans are in the ring and they hit slingshot pescados but Osiris and Cutler catch them. They throw Evans and Leon into the apron and ringside barrier. Dion sends Joe into the ring steps. Saquon sends Myles into the ring and gets a few near falls. Saquon with a cravate. Saquon with a shoulder tackle but Myles with arm drags. Myles with a front face lock. Leon tags in and he kicks Saquon. Leon with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Cutler tags in and he connects with a clothesline. James with an arm bar. Leon with a rollup for a near fall. Cutler with a punch. ion tags in and kicks Leon and then applies a front face lock.
Leon with a back body drop and Evans tags in and he punches Dion. Dion with a punch and he sends Evans into the turnbuckles. Saquon tags in and connects with a shoulder in the corner. Evans leaps to try to make the tag but Saquon stops him. Joe tags in and he clotheslines Saquon and Cutler. Dion drops Joe on the top rope and then Saquon chokes Joe. Dion chokes Joe in the ropes. Dion with a leg drop for a near afll. Osiris tags in and they hit a double clothesline for a near fall. Osiris sends Joe into the turnbuckles. Osiris chokes Joe in the ropes. Saquon tags in and he slams Joe and gets a near fall.
Joe with elbows and then he goes through Saquon’s legs but Saquon stops him. Cutler tags in and misses an elbow drop. Dion knocks Evans off the apron. Dion with a guillotine but Joe counters with a dead lift suplex. Leon ags in and he kicks Cutler and drop kicks Saquon off the apron. Leon with a dragon whip to Osiris. Leon goes for a handspring double back elbow but Cutler and Osiris catch him and hit a double choke slam for a near fall. Everyone from Dark State is in the ring and they set for the toss power bomb but Leon with a double drop kick to Saquon and Dion. Evans tags in and he hits a suicide dive on Saquon. Evans with a plancha onto Cutler. Evans kicks Osiris. Evans with a springboard clothesline and the shirt comes off.
Evans with a springboard cuter attempt but Osiris catches him. Evans with a cutter and a double jump cutter for a near fall. All eight are in the ring again. Myles and Leon with a double drop kick. Joe with a fallaway slam into Cutler and then he clotheslines Dion over the top rope to the floor. Dion pulls Joe to the floor and they exchange punches on the floor. Leon tags in and Evans with a rebound round kick. Leon tags in and he hits a Swanton 450 but Myles made the blind tag when Leon was on top. Myles hits Borne Again for the three count.
Winners:
We go to the contract signing room and Ava presents them with the contract.
Oba tells Ricky the version of him that Ricky beat was dealing with the burden of a long title reign. This version will destroy Ricky and make him a footnote.
Ricky asks what happens if he cannot beat Oba. There is no more fairy tale. He is the champion. Ricky says there is an exception to the rule and the ruler, and that name is Ricky Saints.
Ava says their match will open the show.

The fallout from Gold Rush Week Two continues tonight as Myles Borne steps into the spotlight once again. After scoring a hard-fought victory over former NXT Champion Trick Williams in an Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match, Borne was immediately targeted by the menacing faction DarkState. Their post-match assault nearly left him broken inside Madison Square Garden, but the timely intervention of Je’Von Evans, Leon Slater, and Joe Hendry allowed Borne to escape intact.
Now, the tables turn. Borne will join forces with Evans, Slater, and Hendry in a blockbuster Eight-Man Tag Team Match against DarkState. The stakes are high, not only because of the ongoing rivalry but also due to the unique circumstances surrounding Team Borne. All four men are scheduled to compete in the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. That looming clash raises the question: can they truly coexist as allies tonight, or will their individual ambitions create cracks that DarkState can exploit?
DarkState has thrived on chaos and opportunism, and this match presents the perfect opportunity for them to sow discord among their opponents. For Borne, Evans, Slater, and Hendry, unity will be the key to survival. For DarkState, division could be the path to victory.
With this Eight-Man Tag Team Match standing as the only bout officially advertised for tonight’s show, all eyes will be on whether Team Borne can maintain focus long enough to overcome DarkState—or whether the faction’s ruthless tactics will once again leave their rivals in ruins.
