Ethan Page Says Je’Von Evans Has an “Unlimited Ceiling” in WWE – Ethan Page made it clear this week that he sees a massive future ahead for Je’Von Evans. Page and Evans shared one of NXT’s most intense rivalries earlier in the year, a stretch that included a broken jaw suffered by Evans, a Last Man Standing match, and a street fight. Their feud quickly showed how much potential Evans had at a young age, and Page believes WWE should take full advantage of that talent.
Speaking with Adam Silverstein on the Getting Over podcast, Page did not hesitate when asked how high Evans’ ceiling is in WWE. Page said the 21-year-old sits above everyone else in terms of long-term potential, even above himself. “Higher than everyone else here,” Page said. “Higher than mine. That hurts me to say. He’s just himself. That is one thing it took me so long to figure out. Essentially, just be as genuine as possible. As much as I hate the kid, he is who he is, no one is going to change him. When he performs, that’s as genuine of a Je’Von as you’re going to get. He has an unlimited ceiling and I hope the WWE has signed him to a 15-year contract.”
Page’s comments highlight two major points: Evans’ authenticity and his natural connection with audiences. Page explained that what makes Evans stand out is not just athletic ability or highlight-reel moments, but the fact that Evans performs exactly as himself. According to Page, that level of comfort and identity in the ring is something many performers take years to develop, but Evans already has it at just 21.
Evans’ rise has drawn attention across WWE programming, and Page’s praise adds weight to the belief that Evans could become a major player for the company in the years ahead.
Page, meanwhile, continues to hold championship gold. He is the reigning NXT North American Champion and one-half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions alongside Chelsea Green. Even with multiple titles to his name, Page didn’t hesitate to say the future belongs to Evans, making his endorsement even more noteworthy.
