Orange Cassidy Reacts to Stevie Richards’ Claims About AEW Roster – Orange Cassidy is pushing back against recent comments made by Stevie Richards, who claimed in a video last week that Logan Paul is better than the entire AEW roster and 98 percent of the WWE roster. Cassidy appeared on Adrian Hernandez’s podcast and made it clear he strongly disagrees.
“No, absolutely not,” Cassidy said when asked if he agreed with Richards’ assessment.
Cassidy added that while Logan Paul has exceeded expectations given his limited in-ring experience, he rejects the idea that Paul surpasses the AEW locker room.
“Like, saying that Logan Paul is better than the entire AEW roster? I think Logan Paul is good. I think he’s doing very well for his limited experience and stuff. You get angry at people like that that just go in and do it, make it look great effortlessly. But he’s not better than the AEW roster.”
Cassidy noted that statements like Richards’ are often used for attention, calling it “another counter programming word,” tying back to an earlier part of the interview where he and Hernandez discussed how the term “counter programming” has become modern clickbait.
Kyle Fletcher also addressed the comments during a separate interview with TMZ. Fletcher questioned whether Richards actually believes the statement or simply said it for reaction. “If he does, like I said, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. I think that opinion is bullsh*t personally,” Fletcher said.
During the podcast, Cassidy also spoke briefly about the aftermath of last week’s Blood & Guts match in Greensboro. He mentioned still dealing with injuries from the bout, including holes in his hands where Jon Moxley stapled them into his pockets.
