Jamie Hayter Set for First Match Back After Injury Scare

Jamie Hayter Set for First Match Back After Injury Scare – Former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter now has an official in-ring return date after suffering an injury scare earlier this month. Her first match back will take place in London, England, where she will reunite with a familiar audience and step into a setting she has worked in many times before.

Hayter is scheduled to appear for Pro Wrestling EVE at their “Let’s Slam Santa” event on Friday, December 5, in Walthamstow, London. She will team up with Session Moth Martina in a tag team bout against EVE Champion RHIO and Alexxis Falcon. The date was announced earlier this week, and the match was made official on Sunday.

This upcoming appearance marks Hayter’s first confirmed match since being injured during the first-ever women’s Blood and Guts match. In that bout, she was struck by a chair thrown by Megan Bayne, a spot that reportedly chipped several of her teeth and left her face visibly damaged. Since then, Hayter has been absent from AEW television and did not play a role in the build toward Full Gear or the event itself.

While her in-ring return is set for December 5 in the UK, there remains a chance Hayter could show up on AEW programming before then. AEW will hold a combined Dynamite and Collision taping this Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by another Dynamite taping the following Wednesday in Fishers, Indiana. As of now, Hayter is not advertised for either show, but her status could change as the dates approach.

Hayter’s return is expected to draw significant attention, given her popularity and the circumstances surrounding her recent absence.
