The Elite Reunite at AEW Full Gear – The Elite are officially back together. After weeks of uncertainty, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson chose not to align with the Don Callis Family at AEW Full Gear, instead reuniting with Kenny Omega and turning their backs on Callis in decisive fashion.
Earlier in the night, The Young Bucks teamed with Josh Alexander in a high-stakes $1 million Trios Match, defeating Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega. Following the win, Don Callis appeared at ringside and presented the Bucks with bags of money, seemingly finalizing their transition into his family. Callis then led them toward the entrance as the rest of his group launched a coordinated attack on Jurassic Express and Omega inside the ring.
When the Bucks realized what was unfolding, they paused briefly at the top of the ramp. After a moment of hesitation, they threw aside the money and sprinted back to the ring, fighting off the Don Callis Family and clearing the area. Their decision marked the first major step toward reuniting with their former partners.
With the ring secured, Jurassic Express accepted the Bucks’ assistance. Omega, still recovering, rose to his feet and saw Matt and Nick offering handshakes. Initially unsure, Omega slapped their hands away, only to step forward and pull them into a hug. The moment confirmed the long-awaited reunion of The Elite.
The storyline stems from events dating back to All In, where The Young Bucks lost their EVP status. Since then, they’ve struggled financially and endured humiliation from a locker room they once dominated. Don Callis, who had been covering the costs of their elaborate entrances, cultivated the belief that the Bucks would eventually join his family.
Instead, the Bucks returned to the side of Kenny Omega, rebuilding The Elite and reshaping AEW’s landscape.
