AEW Files Trademarks for Potential New Shows

AEW Files Trademarks for Potential New Shows – All Elite Wrestling may be preparing to expand its programming lineup, as the company recently applied for several new trademarks that appear to be possible titles for future shows.

On November 12, 2025, AEW submitted four trademark applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the following names: AEW Fire, AEW Blitz, AEW Firestorm, and AEW Tidal Wave. While the filings have been accepted by the USPTO, they have not yet been assigned to an examiner, meaning official approval is still pending.

Each filing falls under the same entertainment category description used for AEW’s existing television content: “Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling television programs; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.”

With AEW already airing Dynamite on Wednesdays and Collision on Saturdays, these new filings have fueled speculation that Tony Khan may be considering adding another weekly show to the company’s schedule. Khan has previously stated that expanding AEW’s television presence is something he continues to explore.

In a separate discussion with Sportico’s Sebastian Milo, Tony Khan spoke about AEW’s international ambitions, revealing that he hopes to bring the promotion to new European markets in the future.

“I think for us, having great shows all over the world, having a roster, like I said, there’s great talent pools in Mexico, England, Japan, great places to recruit pro wrestlers, a lot of great wrestlers out of Canada,” Khan said. “These are great markets for us, but there’s also some untapped markets. So, it’s a great question that you’re asking. I think that we’ve never done a show in France. I’d love to go to Paris for AEW and all over France. I’d love to go to Germany, which has a great wrestling market. There’s a lot of great wrestling fans in Germany. I think that would be a great place for us to AEW at some point.”

Whether the new trademarks signal AEW’s next TV project or simply a round of brand protection remains to be seen, but Tony Khan’s remarks make clear that AEW’s eyes are firmly set on global growth.
