Rhea Ripley Bloodied After In-Ring Accident at WWE SuperShow in Tokyo

Rhea Ripley Bloodied After In-Ring Accident at WWE SuperShow in Tokyo – Rhea Ripley suffered a painful injury during WWE’s SuperShow event at the historic Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The incident took place during a four-way match that featured Ripley, IYO SKY, Stephanie Vaquer, and Raquel Rodriguez, and left the former Women’s World Champion bloodied after a mid-air collision.

The injury occurred when Rodriguez hurled IYO SKY toward Ripley, leading to a violent impact that caught Ripley directly in the face. The collision caused an immediate nose injury, and Ripley was seen clutching her face as medical personnel rushed to ringside. Her nose was visibly swollen and bloodied, and officials quickly escorted her backstage for further evaluation.

Despite the setback, Ripley remained in good spirits. After the show, she posted a lighthearted video on social media revealing her injured nose. Smiling through the pain, she captioned the clip, “Thank you Japan 😂 I still love you!”, showing appreciation to fans who supported her throughout the night.

Ripley’s positive demeanor eased some concern among fans, though WWE has yet to release an official medical update. It remains unclear whether she will need time off to recover or if the injury will affect her status for the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event Premium Live Event on November 1.

The Tokyo crowd, known for its respect toward performers, gave Ripley a strong ovation as she exited the ring. While the injury was unfortunate, her resilience and connection with the fans once again underscored her reputation as one of WWE’s toughest competitors.
