Mercedes Mone Becomes Longest-Reigning AEW TBS Champion in History – Mercedes Mone has officially made history in All Elite Wrestling, becoming the longest-reigning AEW TBS Champion ever. The reigning champion has now surpassed Jade Cargill’s historic record, setting a new benchmark for longevity and dominance in the division.
Mone’s reign has reached 509 days, eclipsing the previous 508-day record set by inaugural champion Jade Cargill. During her time as the first-ever TBS Champion, Cargill successfully defended the title 25 times. Mone, meanwhile, has already recorded 22 successful defenses against some of AEW’s most talented competitors, including Kris Statlander, Skye Blue, Hikaru Shida, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., Mina Shirakawa, Nyla Rose, and Riho. Her consistency and ability to deliver standout matches have firmly established her as one of AEW’s most decorated and dominant champions.
Beyond AEW, Mone continues to collect championship gold around the world. She currently holds an incredible ten titles across various promotions, including the CMLL World Women’s Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, Queen of Southside Championship (merged with the RevPro title), Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship, EWA Women’s Championship (Austria), PTW Women’s Championship (Poland), BestYa Women’s Championship (Italy), Bodyslam Women’s Championship (Denmark), and the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Championship tournament trophy.
Mone last defended the AEW TBS Championship on September 20 at All Out, where she defeated Riho. A month earlier, she retained the title in a four-way match at Forbidden Door against Alex Windsor, Bozilla, and Persephone.
While Mone does not currently have a match scheduled for AEW WrestleDream this weekend, her historic reign continues to strengthen her legacy as one of the most successful and globally recognized women in professional wrestling today.
