The cited match took place on the post-Crown Jewel 2025 episode of RAW, where Sane faced Ripley in a physical bout that also featured a strong storytelling component. Before the match, Sane appeared in a tense backstage segment with Asuka, during which she was berated and slapped by her tag partner.
During the match itself, Sane drew attention from fans and officials alike by reviving her original WWE entrance theme, “The Next Voyage” by CFO$, which added a nostalgic touch to her performance. Ripley ultimately scored the victory with a Riptide, but Sane’s showing was described as one of her strongest since returning to WWE.
