Queen Aminata Reveals Possible Knee Injury – AEW star Queen Aminata has revealed she is currently dealing with what appears to be a knee injury. The 29-year-old shared the news in her latest personal vlog on YouTube, where she offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at her recent travels and work with AEW.
The footage was filmed last Wednesday in Jacksonville, Florida, where AEW taped an upcoming episode of Collision. While recording herself backstage, Aminata mentioned she had been moving around in the ring earlier in the day and felt something in her knee. “I hurt my knee a little,” she said, visibly limping as she continued speaking to the camera. She added that she was scheduled to film a pre-taped segment, though that segment ultimately did not air on the broadcast.
No video of the actual moment the injury occurred was included in the vlog. However, throughout the video, Aminata described the increasing discomfort she was experiencing. While heading to the airport early the following morning, she gave another update, saying, “I’m so tired. My knee is so friggin’ sore.” Later that day, after returning home, she provided one final update: “My knee is super sore and swollen.” Despite her discomfort, she was not seen wearing a knee brace or any other visible form of support during the video.
Aminata did not disclose an official diagnosis or estimated recovery time. The apparent injury comes during a period of relative inactivity for the AEW star, as her last in-ring appearance took place at the AEW All Out pre-show on September 20, where she participated in the Tailgate Brawl.
As of now, AEW has not issued an official statement regarding her condition. Everyone at WrestlingAttitude.Com wishes Queen Aminata a quick and full recovery.
