Chelsea Green Comments on Piper Niven’s Absence and the Future of The Secret Hervice – Chelsea Green has provided an update on the status of The Secret Hervice following Piper Niven’s injury, which has kept her out of WWE action since August. With Niven sidelined, the group has been represented on television by Green and Alba Fyre. Recent social media posts by Green teasing the addition of a new member sparked speculation that she might be seeking to replace Niven, but Green has clarified that this is not the case.
In an interview with Woman’s World, Green explained that she has no plans to replace her injured partner and emphasized Niven’s value to the group. “Piper is so valuable to us. We’re not just replacing her, but the show goes on. This is Hollywood, baby!” she said. Green noted that while she continues to develop stories on television and online, her goal is to keep the momentum going until Niven returns.
She also discussed how she uses social media to enhance WWE storylines. “I love to start a storyline on social media and plant the seed, because then the writers can gauge reactions and maybe bring it into their creative meetings,” Green explained, referencing her strategy of using fan interaction to influence booking decisions.
Reflecting on her bond with Niven, Green spoke about supporting her friend during recovery, drawing from her own experience with injuries. “We have all watched each other go through injuries. The girls took care of me when I broke my collarbone in India almost 10 years ago,” she said. “Now it’s my turn to make sure that Piper is okay – more so mentally. There’s not much I can do physically, but I want to make sure that as she takes that step back, she realizes this is the time to rest, recover, brainstorm new ideas, start a new hobby, and not get in her head. Because, trust me, we get in our heads!”
Green also opened up about the group’s internal dynamics, insisting that despite her on-screen persona, she is not the real leader. “Everyone looks at me like I’m the leader, but we know within the group that this is all make-believe. I’m not the real leader, and that’s fun,” she said, adding that both Niven and Fyre are close friends and experienced wrestlers she respects deeply.
She credited Maria Kanellis, who led her in a previous faction earlier in her career, as an inspiration for how she approaches teamwork and leadership today.
