According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is focused on establishing a group of new top-tier stars who can eventually share or take over the spotlight from current main eventers. Dave Meltzer reports that “the idea right now is to groom Ripley, Fatu and Breakker to be the people to be with them and eventually in those spots.”
Rhea Ripley is already being positioned as the cornerstone of the women’s division. Meltzer describes her as the “obvious long-term face” of the division. Ripley is set to challenge for the Women’s World Championship in a high-stakes triple threat match at SummerSlam. Her consistent presence across both RAW and SmackDown, even during her recent injury absence, has kept her firmly in the spotlight, with WWE continuing to highlight her as a dominant figure in the women’s roster.
Jacob Fatu has quickly made an impact since debuting on SmackDown, stepping into a babyface role opposite Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline. Fatu’s aggressive style and strong fan reactions have made him a standout act on Friday nights, and he’s now set for a United States Championship steel cage match against Sikoa at SummerSlam—another sign of WWE’s investment in his future.
Meanwhile, Bron Breakker has become a fixture on RAW since joining Paul Heyman’s faction earlier this year. His alliance with Heyman and involvement in the ongoing Roman Reigns storyline has brought him firmly into the main event picture. As the former NXT Champion continues to gain momentum, his power-based offense and intensity have helped him stand out in a crowded field of rising stars.
