Bobby “Sir Mo” Horne Hospitalized with Severe Blood Infection and Pneumonia – Former WWE star Bobby “Sir Mo” Horne, best known as one-half of the 1990s tag team Men on a Mission, is currently in the ICU after being diagnosed with a severe blood infection and pneumonia. The news was confirmed by Book Pro Wrestlers, which issued a statement asking for prayers for Horne and his wife, Denise Jones, who remains by his side at the hospital.

This hospitalization is the latest setback in what has been a difficult health journey for the former tag team champion. Horne underwent a kidney transplant in 2018 but faced serious complications over the following years. In early 2022, he contracted COVID-19, which led to a three-week ICU stay. The situation was made worse by the immune-suppressing medication required for his kidney transplant. Later that year, he needed emergency hernia surgery, which resulted in pneumonia and the eventual loss of his donor kidney. Since then, Horne has been on dialysis.

Horne made his WWE debut (then WWF) in 1993 as part of the fan-favorite tag team Men on a Mission alongside his partner Mabel (Nelson Frazier) and their rapping manager Oscar. Known for their bright colors and upbeat attitude, the team captured the WWF Tag Team Championship in March 1994 after defeating The Quebecers at a house show in London, England, though they dropped the titles back just two days later.

Following Mabel’s King of the Ring victory in 1995, the team turned heel and eventually split in 1996. Horne continued wrestling on the independent circuit for years, later focusing on running his own promotion and wrestling school in Texas with his wife. His longtime partner Nelson Frazier, who also performed as Viscera and Big Daddy V, passed away in 2014.

WrestlingAttitude.Com sends its thoughts and best wishes to Bobby Horne and his family during this difficult time, hoping for a full and speedy recovery.
