TNA Victory Road Card Finalized With New Matches And Stipulation Changes – The lineup for Friday’s TNA Victory Road has been officially set, but the previously promoted Knockouts World Title match has been removed following the recent allegations against Masha Slamovich.
TNA confirmed that the planned championship bout featuring Ash by Elegance defending against Slamovich, with Indi Hartwell as guest referee, will not take place. The company also made no mention of a replacement match for the title, which remains absent from the final card. The decision comes after TNA opened an investigation into domestic abuse allegations made against Slamovich earlier this week.
To fill the gap, three new matches have been added to the event. Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth will team up to face Matt Cardona and The Home Town Man in tag team action. Mike Santana will square off with Ridge Holland in a first-time singles encounter. Additionally, the pre-show will feature a triple threat bout as Cedric Alexander battles Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel. The pre-show will also include a First Class Penthouse segment hosted by AJ Francis, with Matt Hardy as his special guest.
Another notable change involves the Moose vs. Mustafa Ali match. TNA has added a high-stakes stipulation, with the winner earning the all-important order of entry advantage for their team in the Bound for Glory Hardcore War match next month.
Victory Road streams live Friday, September 26, on TNA Plus, with the pre-show airing free on TNA’s digital platforms beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST. The main card will start at 9 p.m. EST.
