Roman Reigns Stretchered Out After Brutal Attack at WWE Clash in Paris – Roman Reigns’ return to action at WWE Clash in Paris quickly turned into chaos, as the former world champion was left stretchered out following a shocking assault at the hands of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
The night began with Reigns defeating Reed in the opening match of the show. After his victory, Reigns demanded that Paul Heyman hand over the pairs of shoes Reed had been wearing as part of his “shoe-la-fala” tribute. Heyman reluctantly complied, but Reigns then turned on his longtime associate, locking him in a chokehold before celebrating on top of the announce table.
That celebration was short-lived. Bron Breakker stormed the ringside area and speared Reigns through the announce table. As officials attempted to assist him, Breakker struck again with another spear on the entrance ramp. Reed rejoined the assault, delivering a devastating tsunami before he and Breakker escorted Heyman to the back.
Things escalated further when Reed returned to the ring. Even after Reigns was strapped to a stretcher, Reed continued his assault, landing multiple tsunamis on the defenseless Reigns.
Jey Uso, scheduled to challenge for the World Championship later in the night, rushed out in an attempt to save his cousin but was cut down by a thunderous spear from Breakker.
On commentary, Michael Cole announced that WWE officials had ruled that if either Reed or Breakker attempted to return to the arena, they would face suspension.
WWE later shared video highlights of the shocking attack across their social media platforms, leaving the status of Roman Reigns uncertain heading into the aftermath of Clash in Paris.
