e’Von Evans comes out and calls out Josh Briggs. Briggs comes out and Evans with a plancha. Evans with an Asai Moonsault.
Je’Von Evans vs. Josh Briggs
Evans with a frog splash for a near fall. Evans with chops and Briggs with a punch. Josh with an elbow drop and punches. Josh with more punches in the corner. Evans escapes a slam attempt and he punches Josh. Josh with a clothesline for a near fall. Briggs with a side slam for a near fall. Briggs kicks Evans in the back and a reverse chin lock. Evans with a head scissors take down and a slingshot head scissors take down. Evans with a drop kick. Josh sends Evans to the apron and Josh gets caught on the ropes. Josh drops Evans on the apron. Josh sends Evans into the announce table. Josh sets for a choke slam through the table but Evans lands on the table and he leaps to the apron. Evans with a suicide dive and both men go over the announce table. Evans chops Josh.
Evans takes too long for a chop and Josh with a forearm. They return to the ring. Josh with a back elbow. Josh with a boot to the back. Josh with a hard Irish whip. Josh with an elbow drop and he gets a near fall. Josh with a reverse chin lock. Josh with a forearm to the back and a reverse chin lock. Josh gets a near fall. Evans with punches and he tries to get Josh up but Josh blocks it. Evans with a forearm. Evans with punches as he avoids punches from Josh. Evans with more punches. Josh pushes Evans away and Evans goes to the apron and connects with a forearm. Evans goes for a springboard move but Josh catches Evans and sends him into the middle rope before getting a near fall. Josh kicks Evans in the head. Josh pie faces Evans and Evans with a punch. Evans has a kick blocked but he stomps on Josh’s foot. Evans with a kick and super kick followed by a Superman punch. Evans with a cross body for a near fall.
Josh catches Evans on a springboard cross body. Evans with a cutter out of a power slam attempt. Evna with a running kick to the head. Evans gets a near fall. Evans runs into a clothesline and osh with a rebound round kick. Evans goes p top for a Coast to Coast senton. Josh rolls to the floor. Josh with a punch and he gets a chair but Evans with a super kick when the referee stops Josh. Josh with a punch when Evans goes for a springboard cutter. Josh gets the three count.
Winner: Josh Briggs
– Oba and Starks are in the office when Oba calls Ricky a hot head, prompting Ricky to say they can finish it right now. Ava steps in and says it’s not happening here, noting that since they have a lot to get off their chests, they will get to air out their grievances on the Grayson Waller Effect. Trick Williams then enters and asks if everything is good before saying he’s going to confront DIY. Trick tells Ricky he has championship business that he wouldn’t understand, and then tells Oba they aren’t finished.

In the Arena:
We are back and Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are in the ring.
Ciampa says it feels like home and it feels special any time they step in an NXT ring. It has been ten years since he first tagged with Johnny Gargano as DIY in NXT.
Johnny says a lot of people forget where they came from. He said he was NXT for Life and he meant it. They might be on Smackdown, but this is their home.
Ciampa says his last match in NXT, he hoped that it wasn’t going to be his last match in NXT. Last week, Trick Williams . . .
Say his name (or don’t even say his name) and he appears as Trick Williams comes out.
Trick says the greatest NXT superstar of all time is here. You got the best of him last week in a two on one situation. Trick says you are jealous. Y’all are jealous because your NXT crew can’t hang with his NXT crew.
Johnny suggests Trick come sin the ring to show what he did.
Trick says he is not alone.
Carmelo Hayes makes his way to the ring.
Carmelo looks at Ciampa and then he looks at Gargano. He turns his attention to Trick.
Hayes tells Trick since he left, you said a lot of things that are true but a lot of things that are not true. Last week, he heard Trick talk about how it is his house and that Trick lives here. You say that when you are with two guys who built that house. You say that in the same ring as someone who put renovations on this house. You are just squatting in their house. He is here to to tell Trick that rent is due.
Trick says he gets it but Hayes says he isn’t finished yet since he has been gone for a year and a half.
Hayes says the next time you stand in the ring with greats from NXT like them, you take your high heels off at the door and you sit down and touch nothing. You stay quiet while they talk.
Johnny says this is like Phily.
Trick says he gets why they did this. He says they have been through a lot. He says he has been talking trash about Hayes. He says that wasn’t right. He tells Hayes not to get it twisted. He says he squats where he wants to squat. This is still his house.
Ciampa apologizes for interrupting and he wants to know what the situation is between Trick and Hayes.
Hayes tells Ciampa to shut up because this is between him and his bro. Hayes says you are the last two to be talking since you are two of the biggest backstabbers.
Trick wants to talk about it.
Johnny says there is a lot of history here, but people want to see two generations of NXT in the biggest tag match in NXT history at Homecoming.

Faby Apache versus Lainey Reid in a Speed Tournament First Round Match
Faby with a drop kick and a head scissors take down. Reid goes to the floor and Faby with a cannonball off the apron. Faby sends Reid into the ring. Reid with a round kick and they go to a test of strength. Reid with a sunset flip for a near fall. Faby with a back slide and bridge for a near fall. Reid wtih a rollup. Faby with an Edge-O-Matic. Faby misses a splash into teh corner but Faby with a thrust kick for a near fall. Reid with a kick and she gets a near fall. Faby escapes a slam and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Faby goes up top and misses a swanton while Nattie makes her way over the ringside barrier. Reid with a running knee for the three count.
Winner: Lainey Reid (advances to face Candice LeRae)
After the match, Nattie and Faby stare each other down.
– Zaria and Sol discuss what will happen when Sol wins a third title. Zaria says they need this win. Hank and Tank stop by and Tank says it is time fro Sol and Zaria to get tag team gold. Sol says they will follow Hank and Tank’s lead.
We go to commercial.
– We are back with a Blake Monroe update. She says that Blake isn’t done with Jordynne Grace. Jordynne made a big mistake. Blake says she is the glamour and you ruined everything. She wanted to be something different. She wanted to be clean and untouchable. The glamour is cruel and merciless and can be the star fo the show. You showed that the Glamour and hell should not be separated. She says Jordynne didn’t humble her, you awakened her. She will show that even she can make the devil blush.
NXT Tag Team Championship: DarkState (Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin) vs. Hank And Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger)
Tank knocks Dion off the apron and Tank with a springboard shoulder tackle. They hit the Malachi Crunch and the shoulder tackle and power slam combination but Dion breaks it up. Hank punches Osiris and Osiris with a forearm and hard Irish whip. Dion tags in and they hit a double toss belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. All four men get in the ring and they pair off. Dion is sent to the floor and Osiris is clotheslined over the top rope to the floor. Hank and Tank with a cross cross stereo suicide dives to the floor. Hank sends Dion into the apron and he punches Dion a few more times. Hank gets a near fall. Tank tags in and goes to the turnbuckles for a double sledge.
Tank with arm wringers and he escapes a slam attempt from Dion. Hank tags in and he hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles. Tank tags in and he hits a splash into the corner and follows with a snap mare for a near fall. Tank with an arm bar. Dion with forearms but Tank with an arm drag into an arm bar. Osiris tags in and Tank with elbows but Osiris drops Tank on the top rope and Dion with a flying clothesline. Osiris with kicks to Tank. Osiris sends Tank into the turnbuckles and follows with a slam. Dion tags in and pulls Tank’s throat into the bottom rope. Dion with a punch. Dion gets a near fall. Tank with a boot and punches. Dion with a punch and Tank with a take down into a cover for a near fall. Dion with a spinebuster for a near fall. Osiris tags in and they hit a double choke slam for a near fall. Osiris with a sleeper.
Tank with elbows and Osiris with a power slam for a near fall. Osiris pie faces Tank and Tank with punches. Osiris stops Tank from making the tag. Tnk with punches and Osiris still stops Tank. Osiris with a forearm and both men try for the tag but they are held back. They both connects with forearms and fall into their corners to make the tag. Hank wtih double sledges to Dion and a slam. Hank goes Bushwhacker and he rubs the area near his belly before hitting a splash. Hank bulldogs Osiris onto Dion. Hank hits a spinning flatliner for a near fall. Hank puts Dion on the turnbuckles for Power and Glory and they get a near fall. They set for the Malachi Crunch but Cutler pulls Hank out of the ring and punches him. Tank punches Shugars.
Joe Hendry’s music plays and he busts through the cylinder because Cutler says his name. Hank with an O’Connor Roll on Dion but Osiris with a clothesline and Dion gets the three count.
Winners: Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin
– We are back with a look at Ethan Page talking to Myles Borne in the back about being a champion.
– Lexis King says that was some good footage. Ethan gave Myles some good advice. He tells Charlie that Myles doesn’t take advice and what he told him went in one bad ear and out the other. Lexis says Myles lost to a blind man. Myles enters and he turns the lights out and the lights come bak on and Myles tells Lexis he isn’t done wtih him.
than Page vs. Tavion Heights in a Flag Match
Ethan goes for the flag before the match starts and Tavion pulls him off the turnbuckles. The match starts and Page goes for the flag again. Page goes to the floor and he pulls Tavion to the floor and sends him into the apron. Page climbs the turnbuckles and Tavion stops him again. Tavion thinks about going for the flag but he hits a spear through the ropes. Tavion with punches and forearms and he sends Page back into the ring and hits a modified sling blade. Page stops Tavion on the turnbuckles and Tavion wtih a back elbow and Page tries to pull Tavion off the turnbuckles and he hits an arm wringer to send Tavion to the mat.
Page sets for an Ego’s Edge but Tavion gets on teh turnbuckles and he kicks Page away. Page stops Tavion on the turnbuckles. Page goes to the turnbuckles for a power bomb but Tavion gets free but Page stops Tavion. Page grabs Tavion by the hair for a take down to the mat. They exchange punches. Tavion with punches and Page with a round kick to the temple but Tavion bounces off the ropes with a flying clothesline and both men are down. Tavion gets to the turnbuckles first and Page misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Page knocks Tavion off the turnbuckles to the floor. Page sends Tavion into the ring steps. Page climbs the turnbuckles but Tavion grabs Page. Page knocks Tavion to the mat but Page crotches himself. Tavion with a super belly-to-belly suplex. Tavon gets to the flag.
Winner: Tavion Heights
After the match, Tavion takes the Canadian flag and he circles Page. Tavion puts the Canadian flag on top of Page. Tyler Breeze’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring where Page lays motionless. Tyler takes a selfie next to Page.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Lola says she went to an all girl school and she was very shy. She didn’t have a lot of friends growing up. Everything she does is intentional. She wants to have the life she wanted. She takes us to her father’s Tae Kwon Do Academy.
Her father says he is proud of her.
She says her father dedicated his life to martial arts. It is part of their family.
Her sister says that no one pushed her harder than Lola.
Lola says the dance wasn’t disrespect, it was pettiness. She says people made fun of her, until she knocked them out. This match at No Mercy is for her heritage and her family. Lola says she is so close to winning a title down the road from where she grew up.
Jacy says that is a cute story but she will lose in front of her family. She asks them if they are ready and Jacy says after they win tonight, they will beat Alexa and Charlotte for the title.
– Next week, Ethan Page faces Tyler Breeze for the North American championship. We will have the Grayson Waller Effect with Oba Femi and Ricky Saints. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams face Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Elimination Match: Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and/or Jazmyn Nyx) vs. The Culling (Tatum Paxley & Izzi Dame) vs. ZaRuca (Sol Ruca & Zaria)
Nyx and Tatum with kicks to Zaria to send her to the floor. Tatum with a rollup on Nyx for a near fall. Nyx with a near fall. Tatum gets a near fall on Nyx. Both with forearms and Zaria with a double clothesline and a back body drop to Tatum. Nyx avoids a splash but she runs into a boot from Zaria. Zaria chokes Nyx. Tatum with a cross body and Izzi with a splash. Fallon with a splash to Izzi and a reverse chin lock. Izzi goes for a power bomb but Fallon counters with a rana and a body scissors for a near fall. Zaria sends Fallon to the floor. Zaria and Izzi exchange punches and Izzi with a boot. Zaria with a bicycle kick.
Both with clotheslines at the same time. Fallo with a cross body onto both and Nyx tags in and Nyx takes izzi down and Fallon with a sliding forearm. Fallon grabs Zaria’s ankle and Nyx with a springboard kick for a near fall. Izzi with a forearm to Nyx. Izz catches Fallon on a cross body. Sol tags in and hits a springboard drop kick. Sol trips atum and then she spins Nyx around and drops her onto Tatum. Sol surfs on their backs and she hits a double drop kick. Fallon tags in and she pulls Sol to the floor after Sol sends Tatum to the floor. Fallon with a double jump cross body onto Niko on the floor. Izzi kicks Fallon and Zaria kicks Spears and hits a shoulder tackle off the apron. Nyx kicks Izzi and Tatum kicks Nyx. Sol with a twisting senton onto Niko, Tatum, and Izzi.
Fallon with a forearm to Sol and Tatum with forearms to Fallon. Tatum sends Sol into the ring and Fallon with a kick on the apron to Tatum. Sol with an Irish whip and a hip into the corner. Zaria tags in and she hits a splash. Sol tags back in. Zaria sends Sol into the corner for a drop kick to Fallon and then Tatum. Nyx tags in and trips Sol and sends her to the mat. Nyx with an Irish whip and Fallon tags in. Nyx with a kick to Sol and Fallon with a knee. Fallon gets a near fall on Sol. Fallon with a cravate and knee. Tatum hits Fallon and Tatum goes to the floor. Fallon with a foerarm to Sol and Nyx tags in. Falon with a hip into the corner and Nyx with a snap mare and a figure four head scissors.
Tatum with a sleeper on Nyx. Sol kicks Tatum and Sol leans back to get a near fall on Nyx. Izzi with a back elbow to Nyx and Sol. Izzi with a slam to Fallon. Izzi with an elbow drop to Fallon. Izzi with a boot to Fallon. Izi Iris whips Fallon into Sol and Izzi with hops to both and a clothesline to Fallon for a near fall. Izzi kicks Sol and gets her up for a flapjack. Fallon with an elbow. Fallon with forearms to Sol and Izzi. Sol kicks Izzi from the apron and Nyx shakes the ropes to stop a springboard move for Sol. Jacy with a super kick to Zaria and Nyx sends her into the ring steps. Fallon with a blockbuser to Izzi and then Nyx tags in.
Niyx and Fallon with a double flapjack of Sol onto Izzi. Nyx gets a near fall on Sol and then on Izzi. Nyx with a kick to Izzi and she goes for a fisherman’s suplex on Sol for a near fall. Nyx holds on and Sol counters with a round kick and an Irish whip. Sol is sent to the apron and connects with a forearm. Nyx refuses to lean over in the corner and she kicks Sol on the turnbuckles. Izzi comes under Nyx for a power bomb and Sol with a blockbuster while Izzi hits a power bomb on Nyx. Everyone tags in and Zaria with a kick to Fallon and Tatum. aria with German suplexes to Fallon and Tatnum. Zaria catches Nyx on a springboard move and Zaria with a spinning belly-to-back suplex. Zaria with an overbomb on Tatum but Izzi breaks up the cover. Sol and Zaria with spears to Tatum and Izzi. Zaria with an F5 set up on Fallon and Zaria is pushed into a Sol Snatcher. Fallon sends Sol over the top rope and Nyx pins Zaria.
Sol Ruca and Zaria Eliminated
Tatum with a springboard drop kick to Fallon. Izzi with a codebreaker to Nyx but Tatum gets a near fall. Fallon trips Izzi and she connects with a forearm. Tatum with an O’Connor Roll on Nyx and Jacy with a forearm from the floor but Nyx can only get a near fall. Fallon with a catapult into a Pele Kick for a near fall. Nyx with a Thesz Press to Izzi and they fight to the floor. Izzi choke slams Nyx on the apron. Fallon with a kick around the ring post. Tatum kicks Fallon off the turnbuckles. Tatum goes up top and goes for a 450 splash but she lands on her feet. Fallon goes for a Fameasser but Tatum moves. Izzi tags in and hits a boot while Tatum hits the Psycho Trap. Izzi with a sit out power bomb for the three count.
Winners: Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley
After the match, Jacy says she doesn’t care who dropped the ball, you failed her. She says she runs this division.
– A vehicle arrives at the building and a second vehicle pulls up.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Jacy says there is no way they won’t be part of Homecoming. The failure is on Jazmyn and Fallon. She is no one’s babysitter. She says she is tired of carrying this group on her back. She didn’t get to where she is because of any of you. She says she does not need your applause, your respect, or any of you. Jacy says the only person she needs is herself. She is the greatest NXT Champion of all time. She was the TNA champion.
Stephanie Vaquer’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
She tells Jacy she will give her credit since you beat her for the title. She says she had the NXT Women’s and NXT Titles at the same time and she did it herself. She says at Wrestlepalooza she will be champion again.
Jacy says there are three of them and only one of you.
Stephanie says she has a question for Jacy.
Tiffany Stratton’s music plays and she comes out.
Tiffany asks what time is it. She says it feels so good to be home. The last time she checked, she is the Women’s Champion. She is the longest reigning champion in WWE and she mentions who she has beaten. Tiffany points out that she was NXT champion too.
Jacy says you two are the super seniors who want to come back to high school to feel cool again.
Tiffany says she doesn’t know how mami will feel being called a super senior.
Eventually, Rhea Ripley’s music plays and she comes out.
Rhea says the greatest NXT women’s champion of all time? She doesn’t think so. If you wanted to go to homecoming so bad . . . there are three of you and three of us.
She says they will see you at Full Sail.
Tiffany, Stephanie, and Rhea take care of Fallon, Jacy, and Jazmyn.
Next week, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa face Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. Oba Femi and Ricky Saints will be on The Grayson Waller Effect. Tyler Breeze faces Ethan Page for the North American Championship. Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx face Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, and Tiffany Stratton.

9/9 NXT Preview
DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin will defend their titles for the first time on television against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. After dethroning Walker and Ledger at Heatwave on August 24, tensions have only escalated between the two teams, making this rematch a volatile showdown.
Though Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss now compete on SmackDown, their next challengers from NXT will be decided in a Triple Threat Elimination Match. It’s Zaria and Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley of The Culling vs. Fatal Influence. With Ruca holding both the North American and Speed Women’s Championships, her momentum could be a deciding factor.
The tournament continues with Lainey Reid facing AAA veteran Faby Apache in a fast-paced three-minute First Round Match. The winner will meet Candice LeRae, who advanced last week by defeating TNA’s Xia Brookside, for a shot at Sol Ruca’s Speed Title.
Je’Von Evans returns after falling short in his bid to dethrone Oba Femi as NXT Champion. He’ll face Josh Briggs, who chokeslammed him onto a chair last week following a heated confrontation. Expect a physical, emotionally charged battle.
North American Champion Ethan Page represents Canada against Olympic gold medalist Tavion Heights, flying the flag for the United States. With national pride and championship momentum on the line, this bout promises intensity and high stakes.
