Jacob Fatu Credits Solo Sikoa and Triple H for Helping Him Improve Promos in WWE – Jacob Fatu, also known as “The Samoan Werewolf,” recently joined Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast for a candid conversation about his wrestling journey and how his time in WWE has helped him evolve — especially in an area he once struggled with: promos.

Fatu admitted that for much of his early wrestling career, cutting promos was his weakest skill. Coming up on the independent scene, he leaned more on his physicality and presence in the ring rather than speaking. Reflecting on those early days, he said:

“I just grew up to play my position, play my role, and do my thing. I never try to overstep on anybody or nothing. Talking was my weakest point. On the indies, we get away with cussing. I wasn’t comfortable in talking. Not at all.”

That all began to change when he entered WWE. According to Fatu, he’s been gradually given more chances to speak on television, and it’s made a huge difference. He credited not only Triple H for giving him the opportunity but also Solo Sikoa for being instrumental in helping him refine his voice on the mic.

“Then, they started letting me speak. I remember Tama [Tonga] telling me, ‘Just talk like yourself. Be yourself. Some of the stuff you’re saying, ain’t nobody saying your slang.’ Shout-out to Triple H. It started off small with a couple of lines here. Solo [Sikoa] has actually been a big help on my promos. Everything you see me and Solo doing, he’s been more than helpful.”

Fatu’s recent WWE appearances have showcased his growing comfort and authenticity on the microphone, a sign of his evolving role within the company. His natural charisma and unique delivery have resonated with fans, and WWE has clearly taken notice by giving him more time to speak on TV.

As his confidence continues to grow, Jacob Fatu is proving that he’s not just a dominant in-ring force but also a rising voice in WWE’s storytelling landscape.
