He was confronted by Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta. Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight came out to even the odds, and the brawl intensified when Hiroshi Tanahashi hit the ring.

In-ring promo with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage confronting Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne. Luchasaurus returned but sided against Cage. Nick Wayne revealed he is injured, with Luchasaurus taking his spot in their Forbidden Door tag team match.
FTR (with Stokely Hathaway) vs Brody King and Bandido – Match ended in a time-limit draw.
As a result, both teams will face The Hurt Syndicate for the AEW Tag Team Titles at Forbidden Door.
Hangman Adam Page delivered a promo but was interrupted when MJF appeared backstage with Mark Briscoe, alongside Ricochet and the Gates of Agony. MJF forced Page to agree to three stipulations for their upcoming title match:
- The title can change hands on a disqualification.
- The title can change hands on a count-out.
- MJF does not have to cash in his contract for the match.
