Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam – Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are once again champions after claiming the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam Saturday.
In the second match of the night, Flair and Bliss defeated Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez to capture the gold. The duo overcame a moment of miscommunication—Bliss accidentally struck Flair mid-match—but managed to stay on the same page. Bliss picked up the victory by pinning Roxanne following a Sister Abigail DDT.
For weeks, Flair had made it clear she didn’t consider Bliss a friend, adding tension to their uneasy alliance. However, after the match, she offered a sign of respect by accepting Bliss’ handshake, signaling a possible change in their relationship moving forward.
Roxanne Perez had stepped in as a replacement for Liv Morgan, who was forced to vacate her half of the championship due to injury. Perez held the title for 33 days alongside Rodriguez, whose combined reign reached 103 days. Rodriguez has now held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles five times in total.
This win marks Bliss’ fourth reign with the titles, having previously held them twice with Nikki Cross and once with Asuka. For Flair, it’s her second run as a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion—she also won the titles with Asuka in 2020.
Notably, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss continue to dominate SummerSlam history. Flair holds the record for the most wins by a woman at the event, while Bliss is close behind at second. Their triumph adds another layer to their already impressive legacies in WWE’s women’s division.
