8/18 WWE RAW Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE RAW for August 18, from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
We are live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as Seth Rollins and The Vision make their way to the ring to start the show.
Paul introduces himself and he says in this city he is God and he is too humble to have a statue erected for him for what he did for this industry. He says he is the GOAT. He says the ring is full of GOATs. Bron is the future of Wrestlemania. The man that taught Roman Reigns to fear the spear. Then there is the owner of the shoelafala. The master of the Shoenami. The man that put Roman down and he was not man enough to get back up. He introduces the Tribal Thief, Bronson Reed. Paul moves on to Seth Rollins, the man who put this all together and deserves more credit that Paul does. A man who pinned Roman Reigns in the main event of Wrestlemania and he did it not once, but he hs done it two times.
Paul hands Seth the mic. Before Seth can speak, he is interrupted by Jey Uso who makes his way through the crowd.
Jey tells Seth Rollins. He is tired of hearing him talk. He tells Paul. He is tired of hearing him talk. He is tired of them all. He is tired of them threatening his family. He says he got next. He tapped out Gunther at Wrestlemania. He says Bron acts like he don’t hear him. Puppy dog gonna stay on the porch. He knows he’s dealing with Jey Uso.
Seth asks Bron if he heard what Jey said. He says Jey thinks he is better than him and can beat him. He thinks he is a better athlete. He thinks he is faster and stronger than Bron. He thinks his family is more important than your family. He thinks your dad is a loser. He thinks your uncle is a moron. He thinks your family is full of fat asses.
Bron has to be held back after Seth is done expanding on Jey’s comments.
Paul asks if you want to pull this on them in Philadelphia? He says a long time ago in a bingo hall, not that far away, men would settle their grievances inside the ring and there would be a very specific type of match. No disqualifications or count outs. Winner by pinfall or submission only. In the name of Sandman smashing a beer can into his head. In the name of New Jack who was the only true gangsta. In the name of Rob Van Dam who smoked his opponents. In the name of the late great Sabu. In the name of the late great Tommy Dreamer. He says that he knows Tommy isn’t dead. In the name of the Dudleys.
Jey says whoa many times. He says the only rules he needs tonight are extreme rules.

Last week, Lynch retained her title in dominant fashion against Natalya’s ally Maxxine Dupri, then blindsided Natalya after the match. With tensions already high, Natalya gets her shot at revenge and championship gold.
Women’s World Champion Naomi was originally scheduled to defend her title against IYO SKY last week, but WWE pulled her from the match after revealing she had not been medically cleared. Tonight, Naomi will make her return to address her status and her future with the championship.
IYO SKY will also be in action as she faces Raquel Rodriguez, one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. With tensions rising inside the group, SKY looks to bounce back in singles action.
