WWE to Expand PLE Schedule in Saudi Arabia – WWE is reportedly planning to significantly expand its premium live event (PLE) schedule in Saudi Arabia starting in 2026. According to a new report from Fightful Select, the company is slated to hold three major events in the Kingdom next year — a first since the partnership with the Saudi General Entertainment Authority began.
The expansion comes on the heels of a successful Night of Champions earlier this year and the recent announcement that the 2026 Royal Rumble will take place in Riyadh in January. WWE is also planning two additional events, tentatively scheduled for May and November 2026. This would mark a major increase from 2025, where only one Saudi-hosted PLE is currently on the calendar.
The report sparked speculation regarding the November date, especially with its proximity to Survivor Series, one of WWE’s traditional “Big Four” events. While no event names beyond Royal Rumble have been confirmed, a WWE source told Fightful that if Survivor Series were to take place in Saudi Arabia, it would be moved off of Thanksgiving weekend. WWE officials reportedly do not believe it would be feasible to send talent on an international tour during a major U.S. holiday.
As of now, production planning is expected to begin soon for January’s Royal Rumble, which will serve as the first of three major WWE productions in Saudi Arabia next year. The move aligns with WWE’s continued emphasis on global growth and its ongoing multi-year deal with the Saudi government.
Although WWE is contractually obligated to deliver two events annually in the country, the addition of a third PLE indicates deeper collaboration and growing ambitions in the region. Additional event names and details are expected to be confirmed in the coming months.
