Update on Juice Robinson and Jay White’s AEW Status, Return Timelines Still Unclear

Update on Juice Robinson and Jay White’s AEW Status, Return Timelines Still Unclear – It’s been a challenging year for Bullet Club Gold, but there is some positive news on the horizon. According to Wrestling Observer, Juice Robinson is nearing an in-ring return after being sidelined for more than six months with a broken fibula.

Robinson sustained the injury during a Continental Classic Gold League match against Will Ospreay in November 2024. Meltzer revealed that the injury happened less than three minutes into the bout when Robinson attempted to block a sunset flip. Despite the fracture, Robinson finished the match, although later footage made the severity of the injury more evident.

Meltzer noted that while he doesn’t have an exact date, Robinson “should be ready soon.” The timeline suggests his return could come at any point now, depending on how AEW plans to reintroduce him. Before the fibula break, Robinson had only recently returned from back surgery, which had already kept him out of action for seven months earlier in 2024.

There’s less clarity around fellow Bullet Club Gold member Jay White, who is currently sidelined with a broken foot. Meltzer couldn’t confirm a return date for White either but added that the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is highly regarded by AEW President Tony Khan. That respect might translate into a significant return angle when White is medically cleared.

As for the remaining Bang Bang Gang members, Austin and Colten Gunn, the duo hasn’t wrestled since a loss to the Hurt Syndicate on the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite. However, they are not believed to be injured. Austin Gunn even addressed speculation online in June, assuring fans that both he and his brother were healthy.

With Robinson and White sidelined and the Gunns off TV, Bullet Club Gold has been largely absent from AEW programming in recent months. The stable, which had strong momentum in 2023, could be poised for a resurgence if both injured stars return in the near future.
