Injury Updates on TNA’s Elijah and Trey Miguel

Injury Updates on TNA’s Elijah and Trey Miguel – Two TNA stars are currently sidelined due to injuries, as confirmed during the Slammiversary 2025 broadcast on Sunday night. Elijah, who suffered an arm injury during an appearance on WWE NXT last month, will be out of action for an extended period, while Trey Miguel is also set to miss time due to a hernia that will require surgery.

Elijah, who was injured during a six-man tag team match on the June 17 edition of NXT, underwent surgery to repair a torn left triceps. The injury occurred after a rope-walk maneuver went wrong, causing him to land awkwardly on his arm. It was announced during Slammiversary that the 37-year-old TNA talent is expected to be out for six to eight months while recovering.

Meanwhile, Trey Miguel — one half of The Rascalz — was originally scheduled to compete at Slammiversary alongside longtime partner Zachary Wentz in a high-stakes Ladder War match for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. However, Miguel was pulled from the match due to a hernia issue that now requires surgery.

Miguel, 30, had publicly shared his injury status prior to the pay-per-view, noting that he would undergo surgery after Slammiversary. His last in-ring appearance was in early June. In his absence, Myron Reed stepped in to partner with Wentz as The Rascalz challenged The Nemeths, The Hardys, and First Class in the multi-team ladder match.

While a recovery timeline has been provided for Elijah, no return date has been confirmed for Miguel. TNA has not issued further updates on his condition, but his absence leaves a notable gap in the tag team division, especially following the highly anticipated Ladder War bout.

Both injuries come at a critical time for TNA, with Slammiversary serving as one of the promotion’s biggest events of the year. Fans will now have to wait to see when two of the company’s standout performers will return to action.
