Elijah Reportedly Suffers Arm Injury During NXT Match – TNA star Elijah may be dealing with a significant arm injury following his appearance on the June 17 episode of WWE NXT on The CW. According to a report from F4WOnline, the injury occurred during his signature “Walk With Elijah” rope-walk maneuver — a spot similar to The Undertaker’s classic “Old School.”
During the six-man tag team match in Orlando, FL, Elijah teamed with Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs against Trick Williams, AJ Francis, and Wes Lee. Following the rope-walk spot, Elijah appeared to land awkwardly on his elbow. From that point on, he noticeably avoided using his left arm for the remainder of the match.
Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline commented on the incident, writing: “Elijah injured his left arm on NXT, somehow it appears nobody even noticed. Hopefully not too serious, but looked like elbow injury or maybe torn triceps.” He added, “He tried the Undertaker old-school and landed really weird on his elbow and appeared to injure it badly. He basically didn’t use his arm for the rest of the match and somehow nobody noticed it.”
As of now, there is no confirmation on the exact nature or severity of the injury. Whether Elijah will be cleared in time to participate in the upcoming TNA iMPACT tapings in Pittsburgh, PA this weekend remains unknown.
The wrestling world will be watching closely, especially as Elijah has been gaining momentum both in TNA and during his guest appearances in NXT. We will continue to provide updates as more details emerge regarding his condition.
