Jaida Parker vs. Thea Hail in an Evolution Eliminator Match
Thea attacks Jaida from behind and she sends Jaida into the apron. Jaida fires back and then Jaida sends Thea into the ring and the match is started.
Jaida wtih a hip to Thea against the ropes. Jaida with punches. Jaida stretches Thea in the ropes. Jaida is sent to the floor and Thea with a suicide dive. Thea sends Jaida into the apron and then Jaida is sent back into the ring. Thea goes up top and hits a cross body. Thea with an exploder.for a near fall. Jaida with a side slam for a near fall. Jaida with a rear chin lock on Thea. Jaida pulls Thea to the mat by the trunks. Thea tries for a snap mare to escape but Jaida holds on. Jaida with forearms to the back and she returns to the reverse chin lock. Thea with punches and a snap mare take down but Jaida continues to hold on to the head lock. Jaida swings Thea around and gets a near fall. Jaida returns to the reverse chin lock. Thea sends Jaida into the turnbuckles but Jaida iwth a double thrust to the throat and a suplex. Jaida with a power bomb for a near fall.
Thea blocks a suplex and Thea with an arm wringer and forearm. They go to the floor and Jaida charges at Thea but Thea moves and Jaida hits the ring steps shoulder first. Thea sends Jaida back intot he ring and Thea goes up top and misses a frog splash when Jaida moves. Jaida sends Thea into the turnbuckles but Thea with elbows. Jaida with punches and shoulders in the corner. Jaida sends Thea into the turnbuckles and hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Jaida with knees and an abdominal stretch. Thea with a reversal. Jaida tries to send Thea into the turnbuckles but Thea stops short and connects with an elbow and she sends Jaida into the turnbuckles.
Jaida with a drop toe hold and elbow drop for a near fall. Jaida with an abdominal stretch and Thea with a snap mare to escape. Thea with an inside cradle for a near afll. Thea with a rollup for a near fall. Thea wiht punches and a head butt. Thea with a double sledge and she misses an elbow in the corner. Jaida puts Thea in the ropes and she hits the springboard seated splash. Thea with a rollup into a kimura with a body scissors. Jaida gets close to the ropes but Thea rolls her into the center of the ring. Jaida picks up Thea and runs her into the turnbuckles. Thea returns to the kimura and Jaida sends her into the turnbuckles again. Thea with another kimura and Jaida taps out but the referee did not see it.
Jaida with a running hip for the three count.

– Briggs, Inamura, and Elijah are in BACK and they talk about their match tonight. Elijah talks about what Trick is doing to TNA and how much people don’t like First Class. Tank and Hank show up and they tell Josh and Inamura that they have a tag match upcoming. Oba Femi shows up and Hank and Tank congratulate him on his match against Jasper Troy. Trick shows up and Oba says that his money is on Josh, Inamura, and Elijah.

Lash Legend vs. Kelani Jordan in an Evolution Eliminator Match
Kelani with forearms and Lash with a knee and slam. Lash slams Kelani’s head into the mat and she misses a splash. Jordan with kicks tot he head followed by a thrust kick. Kelani with Rolling Thunder and a side head lock. Lash picks up Jordan but Jordan holds on to the head lock. Jordan holds on when Lash tries to send her off the ropes. Jordan lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex followed by a head scissors and a drop kick to send Lash to the floor. Jordan with an Asai Moonsault. Jordan sends Lash back into the ring and she goes up top and hits a head scissors. Jordan with a kick and a sit out DDT for a near fall. Lash with a chop. Lash with another chop. Jordan escapes a slam and hits a step over leg lariat followed by a splash but Lash holds on and Lash with a uranage back breaker.
Lash with a series of shoulders and a splash for a near fall. Lash puts Jordan in the ropes and connects with forearms. Lash kicks Jordan and she slams Jordan. Lash gets a near fall. Lash slams Jordan’s head into the mat a few times. Jordan with punches and Lash with a forearm. Lash puts Jordan between the top and middle rope and she rings the bell. Lash with a hot shot to Jordan and she gets a near fall. Lash sets for a suplex and she gets Jordan up but Jordan counters into an inside cradle for a near fall. Lash grabs Jordan’s leg and Jordan with forearms. Lash puts Jordan on the turnbuckles and Jordan with forearms and she kicks Lash to the mat. Jordan goes to the apron and Jordan goes for a sunset flip but Lash windmills to stay on her feet. Lash with a power bomb and a bicycle kick for a near fall.
Lash gets Jordan on her shoulder for an Argentine back beaker. Jordan with a Codebreaker. Jordan with forearms and a drop kick followed by a cartwheel clothesline. Jordan with Sliced Bread and she goes utop and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Jordan kicks Lash in the back and she cartwheels when Lash tries to spin her to the mat. Lash with a kick. Jordan with a kick in the corner and Lash stops a split legged moonsault attempt with a forearm. Lash goes to the turnbuckles for a belly-to-back superplex but Jordan counters with a lateral press and a near fall. Jordan goes up top and she goes for a 450 splash but Lash gets her knees up. Lash with a spinning face plant for the three count.

– We take a look at what has happened with the D’Angelo Family.
– Luca is walking and talking on the phone while Tony is standing in BACK. Luca approves something. Tony doesn’t like it and he tells Luca he will see him in the ring.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Tony D’Angelo is in the ring.
He says as the Don you have to be aware at all times. You have to have your head on a swivel. You have to be aware of enemies. You have to watch to be stabbed in the back. Stacks turned on him, Rizzo is in hiding, and Luca got clipped, or did he. He wants loyalty from Luca. He tells Luca to come to the ring so they can talk man to man.
Luca Crusifino comes out and he tries to calm Tony down. Tony says this is how he wants to do it. If you are going to lie, you are going to lie to him and all of these people. Luca says he isn’t lying. Tony says he wants to know what happened in the desert. Luca says he was kidnapped by two people and zip tied. He was let go and Channing said it was his lucky day.
Tony says if he believes him, you came to Battleground and stared at him like an idiot. He asks Luca if he can trust him. Luca says Tony can trust him. Tony asks why didn’t he hit Channing. Luca says maybe he should have. He says he didn’t know what to do. Luca says he is supposed to advise people on what decisions to make. This is the first time he had to make a decision. He says Rizzo is his sounding board.
Tony says the eyes never lie. He tells Luca to look at him and tell him whether he is with Channing. Luca tells Tony… he promises…
Channing Lorenzo comes out and he says Tony is pathetic without him. You got the truth but you don’t want to believe it. You don’t believe Luca. Channing asks if he has never not believed in him like Tony has the last month? Has he questioned his authority? He saved Luca in the desert for a reason.
Tony takes off his jacket.
He says Luca would never be good enough to be Tony’s consigliere. He tells Luca to do what’s next. Tony takes down generic Italian bad boy. Channing punches Tony and Luca tries to punch Channing, but he misses and hits Tony. Luca is in shock and Tony still doesn’t believe him so THIS CONTINUES.
– AJ Francis and KC Navarro show up to talk to Trick in LOCKER ROOM. AJ says KC is not medically cleared. Trick is not happy. AJ says they are about solutions. He says KC cannot go tonight so he got someone who can. Wes Lee shows up and he says they have problems but he knows TNA. Trick says they have been through a lot, but he says my bad. Wes appreciates the apology.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and it is time to look at Chase U. Andre introduces Kale and Uriah to the class. He mentions the curriculum during the summer. He says his teaching standards might not be traditional. He says Chase University should be your priority and you need to thrive under pressure. Kale asks many questions and Chase tells Kale they don’t adjust to him, he has to adjust to it. He tells him he needs to be tough. Kale and Uriah leave the classroom. Uriah says it is a shame.
– We take a look at what Ethan did to Ricky on a chair. We are told that Ricky might be cleared next week.
– Ethan is with Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor and they are impressed. Ricky Saints shows up and quietly says he will be coming after Ethan next week. Jackson says they will have to run through the Vanity Project. Ashante Thee Adonis asks why is Ricky so angry. He says since Saints can’t talk the talk any more, what is going on. The odds are not in your favor. Saints tells Adonis the odds aren’t in his favor because Vanity Project and Ethan have left.
– A vehicle arrives in the parking lot and double parks. Blake Monroe emerges.
– Elijah makes his way to the ring with a song.
We go to commercial.
– Tavion is with Wren and Je’Von and Wren says it takes nuance to talk to Charles. She says she hasn’t talked to him. Jasper Troy shows up and Evans says Troy handled himself last week. He tells Troy his time is coming, but not before him. Troy tells Evans to get out of his face.
Charlie shows up and Evans says Tavion doesn’t want to be part of the group. Charlie tells Evans he can give Tavion a match and if Tavion wins, he is out. Evans tells Charles he needs a hug. Wren gives him a hug and she wants Tavion to join in.
– Blake Monroe is on the red carpet.
Trick Williams, A.J. Francis & KC Navarro vs. Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura & Elijah
Wes and Inamrua start things off and Wes with kicks and a side head lock. Wes with a drop kick to the knee and a take down. Inamura with a shoulder tackle. Inamura with a chop and Wes falls into the ropes. Briggs tags in and they send Wes face first to the mat. Josh with a drop kick and Inamura with a chop for a near fall. Josh goes for a slam and Wes escapes and tags in AJ. AJ with a shoulder tackle and he runs into a boot in the corner. Trick tags in and Josh with a side slam and a splash. Josh sends Trick into the corner and Elijah tags in and Elijah with a chop and wrist lock. Trick with a reversal. Elijah with a reversal and Trick avoids a hip toss. Elijah with a flying clothesline.
Elijah with a wrist lock and he goes to the ropes for Old School and he hits a knee drop to the chest off the ropes for a near fall. Trick with a jumping leg lariat and Elijah goes to the floor. Elijah trips Trick and sends him into the ringside barrier. Inamura and Josh catch Wes. AJ teases a dive but he will not flop. Josh and Inamura with a double shoulder tackle and Elijah with an elbow drop off the turnbuckles. Trick looks like he has had enough and Josh goes to bring Trick back to the ring. Josh blocks a punch and he punches Trick a few times. Josh kicks Trick and Josh with a back elbow and he gets a near fall.
Inamura tags in and he chops Trick and then applies an arm bar. Trick with a wrist lock take down. Wes tags in and he goes up to and misses an elbow when Inamura moves and Inamura with a chop. Inamura with many strikes to Wes including punches and chops in the corner. Inamura puts Wes on the turnbuckles and Inamura climbs. Igwe and Dupont get involved and Inamura is dropped on the turnbuckles. Wes with kicks. Wes with a double stomp to the back and he gets a near fall. Wes with an Irish whip but Inamura side steps Wes. AJ tags in and Wes with a hip to Inamura and AJ with a boot. AJ slams Wes onto Inamura and AJ with a back senton for a near fall.
Inamura with chops and forearms to AJ. Inamura with a shoulder tackle and AJ with a spear for a near fall. AJ with a running knee and he flips over the top rope to the floor. Wes with a slingshot back senton for a near fall. Wes with forearms to Inamura. Wes misses a splash but he kicks Inamura many times. Inamura with a spinning slam. Trick and Josh tag in and Josh with a boot and a flying clothesline. Elijah tags in and he connects with an elbow and he chops and punches Trick. Elijah with kicks and the referee pulls him away. Elijah with a swinging suple. All six men aer in the ring and AJ kicks Inamura to the floor. Wes is sent to the floor by Josh. Trick kicks Josh. AJ Is sent to the apron . Wes with a swanton onto Trick. Inamura goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.
Winners: Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura, and Elijah
– Sol and Zaria walk in the back and they talk about Sol’s match. Tatum emerges from behind them as we go to commercial.
– We are back and Ava is with Stevie and Stone in OFFICE.
– Tony and Luca are arguing in the hallway. Tony wants to get Luca a match against Channing. Luca says he doesn’t want to fight Channing and Tony thinks they are still working together. Channing has a match against Noam Dar next week for the Heritage Cup. Tony wants to know why he gets the match and Ava says that Channing told her his last win was against a Heritage Cup Champion. She also says his consigliere signed off on it. Tony thinks it was Luca and Luca denies it.
Zaria vs. Izzi Dame in an Evolution Eliminator Match
Izzi with a rollup for a near fall. Izzi with a kick and Sol tries to calm Zaria down. Zaria with punches and Izzi punches back. Zaria with a bicycle kick and a splash into the corner. Zaria with a suplex and she gets a near fall. Zaria sends Izzi into the turnbuckles. Zaria gets Izzi up but Izzi escapes and Izzi goes for a back body drop but Zaria with a sunset flip for a near fall. Izzi runs Zaria into the corner and connects with shoulders. Zaria with a head butt and she goes to the turnbuckles. Zaria with a sleeper and she lifts Izzi off the mat. Zaria with a clothesline off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Zaria stretches Izzi in the ropes and Zaria with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Zaria with a bow and arrow.
Izzi with elbows but Zaria holds on to the sleeper. Izzi powers out and Zaria gets Izzi on her shoulders but Izzi goes for a sunset flip. Zaria blocks and drops down for a near fall. Izzi and Zaria exchange near falls. Zaria with an inside cradle for a near fall. Izzi gets a near fall with a rollup. Zaria with a back elbow but Izzi with a clothesline. Izzi with back elbows against the ropes. Izzi with a neck breaker for a near fall. Izzi with a neck breaker for a near fall. Izzi with an arm bar and chin bar on Zaria. Izzi with a back breaker. Zaria with a punch and a hip toss into the ring. Zaria with a clothesline or two followed by a bicycle kick. Zaria with a slam and she sets for a German suplex and hits it.
Tatum Paxley comes up behind Sol and scares her.
Izzi with Sky High for the three count.

– Josh tells Inamura he deserves a TNA title match. Inamura says he came from Japan for Josh. If he is going to get a title match, he wants Josh to have it. He says he wants bigger things. Josh as TNA champion and him as NXT Champion. Josh says he loves that.
Jordynne Grace vs. Lola Vice in an Evolution Eliminator Match
They lock up and Grace with a waist lock. Grace with a side head lock. Lola with a head scissors take down. Grace sends Lola to the floor and Grace with a forearm. Lola is dropped on the top rope. Lola with a spinning kick followed by Naomi kicks. Lola sets for the hip shake and she hits a running hip into the corner. Lola with a boot to the back and she gets a near fall. Lola chokes Grace in the ropes. Lola with punches and kicks. Grace with a kick and Lola kicks back. Lola chokes Grace in the ropes. Lola with kicks to Grace. Lola with kicks to Grace. Grace blocks a head scissors but Lola counters into a knee bar. Grace gets a near fall. Grace gets to the ropes to force a break. Lola with a kick to the back while Grace hangs in the ropes. Grace blocks an Irish whip and Grace sends Lola into the turnbuckles and she connects with a slap. Lola is sent into the turnbuckles.
Lola holds on to the ropes to block an Alabama Slam. Lola with a head scissors on Grace. Grace backs Lola into the corner and Lola with a guillotine and body scissors. Grace escapes for a moment but Lola counters into a DDT. Grace escapes and she floats over Lola. Grace avoids Lola again and Grace with a rolling Death Valley Driver and a sliding forearm for a near fall. Jordan with a power slam and she goes for a Vader Bomb but Lola with a triangle. Grace rolls over and she picks up Lola for a one arm power bomb. Grace with forearms and Lola blocks a pump handle slam. Grace chops Lola on the turnbuckles.
Grace sets for a superplex and Lola blocks it. Lola with a divorce court off the turnbuckles followed by a round kick for a near fall. Lola goes for the spinning heel kick but Grace blocks it and hits a Stretch Muffler suplex and the Juggernaut Driver for the three count.
Winner: Jordynne Grace
– Zaria yells at Tatum for costing her a shot. Sol says it is okay. Izzi shows up and she tells Tatum they are not her real friends. You aren’t in their Tik Toks. Izzi says she would include Tatum. Tatum leaves and Zaria tells Sol to let her go. Blake walks past them.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and we have a video package for the Heritage Cup, narrated by Noam Dar. He says he is proud that his name has been on the trophy more than anyone else. He syas he is the gold standard and he plans to keep it that way.
– Next week, Noam Dar versus Channing Lorenzo for the Heritage Cup Title. Josh Briggs faces Trick Williams for the TNA Championship. Izzi Dame will face Jaida Parker, Jordynne Grace, and Lash Legend to see who faces Jacy Jayne at Evolution.
– Ava is in the ring with a table and two chairs.
She says NXT has the best women’s division in wrestling and she continues to add to it with the hottest free agent in sports entertainment when she signs her contract. Ava brings out Blake Monroe.
Blake says the moment you have waited for is finally here. She says this is the best women’s division in the world and she has been dreaming of hopping into bed with the talent in the locker room. It is no secret that WWE has always been her dream. Now that she is here, this women’s division is all hers. The Glamour raises the bar, turns heads, and redefines what it means to be a star. She says she knows you are listening but the spotlight is clearly on her.
Blake pulls out her pen to sign the contract.
Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx come out to welcome Blake to NXT.
Jacy tells Ava she has a quick question. Why are you kissing the newbie’s ass like this. She says they have been running this division all year. Did they get any celebration for that? Fallon says they didn’t get anything for the North American Title. Jazmyn says they can’t keep their eyes off them. You are not taking away what they have built.
Blake says they are as insecure as they are bitches.
Jacy says it is reality check. This division doesn’t need you. Are you nothing more than a new flavor of the month.
Blake asks Jacy if she ever tried this one.
Blake slaps Jacy and then she connects with forearms to Fallon.
Jacy with a forearm to Jacy and then Fallon and Jacy with a double choke slam through the table.

6/17 NXT Preview
Tonight’s edition of WWE NXT promises a loaded card as the brand builds toward the upcoming WWE Evolution event on July 13. The show will feature the start of the Evolution Eliminator mini-tournament to determine the next challenger for NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, a six-man tag involving TNA’s top stars, and the official contract signing for a high-profile new roster member.
Following General Manager Ava’s announcement last week, the women’s tournament to crown Jayne’s challenger kicks off with four first-round matchups. The winners from tonight’s matches will advance to a Fatal Four-Way Match next Tuesday. The winner of that bout will earn a shot at Jayne’s title at Evolution.
The Evolution Eliminator Matchups are:
- Jordynne Grace vs. Lola Vice
- Zaria vs. Izzi Dame (of The Culling)
- Lash Legend vs. Kelani Jordan
- Thea Hail vs. Jaira Parker
This marks Jordynne Grace’s continued presence in NXT after her strong performances at Battleground and other recent cross-promotional matches.
Also set for tonight is a high-stakes six-man tag team match as reigning TNA World Champion Trick Williams teams up with First Class—A.J. Francis and KC Navarro—to take on Josh Briggs, Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura, and TNA’s Elijah. Williams and Elijah have been locked in a bitter feud, with Elijah determined to bring the TNA World Title back to his home promotion. First Class previously helped Williams retain his title against Mike Santana on the June 3 episode of NXT, cementing their alliance.
In addition, former AEW and STARDOM star Blake Monroe (formerly Mariah May) is set to officially join the NXT roster tonight. After making her first appearance on June 3, Monroe will sign her contract live on the show, signaling her full-time arrival in WWE.
With high-stakes women’s matches, inter-promotional tag team chaos, and a big roster signing, tonight’s NXT looks to be a key episode on the road to Evolution.
