7/1 NXT Results – Tonight’s taped episode of NXT opened with TNA World Champion Trick Williams, as he joins the announce team for guest commentary alongside Vic Joseph, Booker T and Corey Graves.
Match Number One: Wes Lee (with Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe) versus Joe Hendry
THey lock up and Joe with a wrist lock and take down. Joe sends Wes back to the mat when Wes gets to his feet. Joe with a fireman’s carry and he holds on to the wrist lock. Wes with a kick and reersal. Wes with knees to the midsection. Joe with a reversal into a side head lock and take down. Wes with a head scissors and Joe escapes. Wes misses a clothesline and Wes with a kick but Joe with a shoulder tackle. Joe goes for a suplex and Wes blocks it. Wes lands on his feet on a suplex attempt and Joe runs into a boot. es with a kick and a head scissors that sends Joe to the floor. Wes with a drop kick through the ropes. Joe with a clothesline and he stares at Trick.
We go to commercial.
Joe is grabbed by Igwe and he goes to the floor. Wes with a suicide dive. They return to the ring and Wes kicks Joe in the head. Wes goes to the turnbuckles and hits a twisting splash for a near fall. Wes punches Joe. Wes with a kick and Joe blocks a satellite DDT attempt and Joe with a suplex. Joe with punches and a clothesline. Joe with a fallaway slam and he turns around. Joe does the Emi Sakura stomp and he goes for Standing Ovation but Wes escapes. They exchange chops. Joe catches Wes and hits a Death Valley Driver but Dupont puts Wes’ foot on the rope. Dupont and Igwe get on the apron and Santana pulls them off. Wes misses an enzuigiri and Joe with Standing Ovation for the three count.
Winner: Joe Hendry
After the match, Santana and Joe stare down Trick at the announce table.
Tatum is with Sol and Zaria and she asks if she did anything bad. Sol says that she is looking out for a friend and Zaria says she is not a friend.
Izzi shows up and she yells at Sol and Zaria for stopping Tatum from helping her in the match. Izzi says she hopes that Tatum will still be her friend.
Zaria says Tatum can do what she wants.
Izzi says they can make a good team.
Luca Crusifino walks in the back as we go to commercial.
Luca makes his way to the ring.
Luca says Tony has been questioning his loyalty since Stand and Deliver and he wants to put this to bed so he asks Tony to come to the ring.
Tony D’Angelo comes out and he says his consigliere is calling him out here. Tony says the tables have turned.
Luca says Tony thinks everyone is out to get him.
Tony says Luca screwed him and served up the title on a platter.
Luca reminds Tony that he hit Luca.
Tony says Luca hit him first.
Luca says Tony is going to listen to him. You want to talk about loyalty. Loyalty is him leaving college a year early for family. Loyalty is him turning down offers from law firms for family. He has given up everything for a chance to be in WWE. He says he has never done a damn thing to doubt Tony. That is loyalty.
Channing Lorenzo comes out and thanks Luca because he wouldn’t be champion without Luca.
Luca tells Channing it is between him and Tony.
Tony starts to talk and Luca punches Tony.
Channing stands next to Luca and he has some words for Tony.
Luca hits Channing and he says his loyalty stands with Luca Crusifino.
Kelly Kincaid is with Oba Femi and she asks him about the number one contender match.
Oba says he can see why the crowd has gotten behind Inamura. He wants to see if Inamura can beat Jasper Troy.
Inamura shows up and he says he will show Oba grit and tenacity in his biggest test.
Oba tells Josh to tell his boy to be ready. He says he is the constant in NXT. The bigger the name he puts down, the bigger his legacy will be.
Inamura says he will not be waiting long and he will see him at the Bash.
Match Number Two: Myles Borne versus Lexis King
They lock up and King with a wrist lock and Borne with a reversal. King with a kick to the head to escape. King walks over Borne’s back when Borne drops down. King with a side head lock and Borne with a belly-to-back suplex and a Gator Roll. King with a knee and chop. Borne with an Irish whip and King sends Borne to the apron. Borne with a punch and he goes up top but King with a drop kick and forearms to the back. King with a chop and he sets for a superplex and hits it for a near fall. King mocks the players from Florida in the crowd. King with a knee to the midsection and an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner.
King with a chop and a drop kick into the corner for a near fall. King with a seated abdominal stretch. They exchange punches and King sends Borne into the turnbuckles. King charges into the corner and stops short and slaps Borne. Borne blocks a kick and he punches King. Borne with clotheslines and an uppercut. Borne with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. King with an uppercut and Borne with an Olympic Slam for a near fall. Borne gets King on his shoulders but King rakes th eyes. King with a super kick and he sets for Coronation but Borne escapes and Borne with a drop kick. Borne with a Zig Zag for he three count.
Winner: Myles Borne
Dark State says NXT has been nothing but chaos since they came here. An NXT wrestler is TNA champ and a NOAH wrestler is challenging for the title. This is their playground and chaos is their game. They can slide anywhere, any place, and any time. Dion says he knows where they are going next, but y’all don’t.
Match Number Three: Thea Hail versus Lainey Reid
They lock up and Reid with a knee to the midsection. Thea with a double leg take down and forearms to Reid. Thea with a kick to the back of the leg and a kick to the chest. Thea with a moonsault for a near fall. Thea sends Reid into the turnbuckles and follows with a hip. Reid with a forearm. Reid catches Thea in the corner and sends her face first into the turnbuckles followed by a German suplex. Reid with elbows to the clavicle and a kick to the ear. Reid chokes Thea in the corner. Reid with an elbow to the back of the head and Reid with a clothesline. Reid with a rear chin lock. Reid with a knee to the midsection and a butterfly shoulder breaker for a near fall. Reid slaps Thea in the head. Reid misses an elbow drop when Thea moves. Thea with an elbow and kick. Thea with divorce court and double sledges to Reid. Thea with a kick and a clothesline. Thea with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall.
Reid with a kick and she kicks Thea as she comes off the ropes. Thea blocks a suplex and Thea goes for the kimura but Reid blocks it and she takes Thea down and uses the ropes for extra leverage on a cover. Thea with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. Reid with a kick and the three count with her hand on the ropes.
Winner: Lainey Reid
Tavion, Charlie, and Wren are in the training room and Wren is happy Tavion is still here. Charlie says it proves that he might not be ready. Tavion says he wants the same deal that Myles got and face him. Charlie says Tavion doesn’t want two straight losses. Wren says that is what he is saying and Charlie says he hears it. Charlie says they can have the match.
Jasper Troy says that the locker room fears Oba Femi but did he look that way when they were in the ring together. Oba wants Inamura to win because of what will happen at the Bash if he wins.
Match Number Four: Zaria and Sol Ruca versus Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame
Sol and Tatum start things off and Zaria tells Tatum something and Izzi enters the ring. Zaria swings Sol around and they take Tatum and Izzi down. Sol with a waist lock to Tatum. Tatum escapes and handsprings into a waist lock. Sol iwth a standing switch and Izzi tags in and punches Sol. Tatum with an enzuigiri and Izz takes down Sol. Izzi with an Irish whip and shoulder in the corner followed by forearms and chops. Tatum tags in and she kicks Sol. Sol blocks a kick and Sol with a single leg take down and jackknife cover. Sol with an arm wringer and elbow to the arm. Sol with an Iris whip and elbow in the corner. Zaria tags in and they hit a double hip toss and double elbow drop. Zaria gets a near fall. Zaria goes for a slam and Tatum escapes and tags in Izzi.
Zaria and Izzi push each other. Izzi with a boot to the head for a near fall. Zaria with a punch and Izzi with a forearm. They go back and forth with punches and forearms. Tatum tags in and Zaria kicks Izzi. Tatum with a cross body for a near fall. Tatm with a front face lock and Zaria picks up Tatum and tags in Sol. Zaria tosses Tatum away and Sol with a slingshot X Factor. Sol hits one on Izzi. Zaria gets Tatum on her shoulders and Sol with a cross body to Izzi and then Zaria press slams Tatum to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Izzi with an Irish whip and shoulder in the corner. Tatum tags in and she misses an enzuigiri. Zaria with a waist lock and Tatum escapes and hits a drop kick. Tatum with an Irish whip and cross body into the corner and Izzi pulls Tatum to lock Zaria into the corner. Izzi tags in and connects with a clothesline. Izzi and Zaria exchange punches. Izzi with a choke slam and Tatum tags in and she hits a flip leg drop for a near fall. Tatum with a reverse chin lock and Tatum with an enzuigiri and she gets a near fall. Tatum with a rear chin lock.into a guillotine. Zaria tries to escape but Tatum with a DDT. Izzi tags in and Zaria with a knee to stop a cross body from Tatum. Sol tags in and connects with many back elbows and a double shoudler tackle and double drop kick.
Sol with an elbow to Izzi and Zaria tags in and hits a clothesline on Tatum. Sol with a drop kick to Tatum. Zaria slams Izzi and Sol with a Keg Stand but Tatum breaks up the cover. Sol sends Tatum face first into the apron. Zaria gets Izzi up but Izzi escapes and hits a Codebreaker. Izzi looks for Tatum and Izzi goes for a belly-to-back suplex a Sol gets to her feet and she hits a back breaker. Tatum saves Izzi as Zaria spears Sol. Izzi with Sky HIgh on Sol for the three count.
Winners: Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley
Ava tells Vanity Project that Ethan is the worst person to align with.
Ricky says this won’t be civil and he wants his title match.
Ethan says they are here to protect Ricky. Ethan laughs about the rematch. He says he is the North American Champion and he will dictate the terms of his title reign. He says he is a fighting champion so he can earn a title shot if he can survive the Vanity Project Gauntlet.
Jackson Drake coughs and he mocks Ricky’s throat issues and says he cannot do that.
Ricky says he is okay playing the games. If he wins, he dictates the terms for his rematch.
Ava makes the gauntlet match for next week.
We go to commercial.
We are back with Chase U.
Andre says after reflecting on last week, he tells Uriah it is time to learn new tricks. Tough Love is the only way for him. If it wasn’t for you, he wouldn’t have reopened Chase U. He says he got Kale a singles match for next week. Andre says he wants to be better if they will allow him.
Kale accepts the apology and they hug.
Uriah says it is never too late to grow.
Andre tells Kale to listen to him at ringside.
Kelly Kincaid is with Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.
She asks Joe about his victory and the help from Santana.
Joe says he appreciates Santana’s help.
Santana says they are fighting at Slammiversary but they are fighting against Trick and High Ryze.
Kelly says they will have a tag match next week.
Santana says he will be the one bringing the title home at Slammiversary.
Kelly mentions there will be a contract signing at Great American Bash for the TNA title.
Josh Briggs tells Inamura he believes in him to beat Jasper.
Inamura says he has it and he tells Josh to stay in the locker room.
Shawn tells Tatum looks like one of the family. Niko says they looked like they had some chemistry.
Ava shows up and tells Izzi she gets a North American title match at Great American Bash.
Hank and Tank show up and they says that they know it was the Culling who attacked them.
Tatum says she knows her friends would never do that so why not put the titles on the line.
Ava makes the tag title match for next week.
Match Number Five: Yoshiki Inamura versus Jasper Troy in a Number One Contender Match
They exchange forearms and Troy with a slam and elbow drop for a near fall. Troy with a hard Irish whip and a splash into the corner for a near fall. Troy with a rear chin lock. Inamura powers out of the hold and he applies a head lock. Troy powers out of the hold and he goes for a clothesline but Inamura stays on his feet. Inamura stays on his feet on a second one. Inamura avoids a clothesline and hits a belly-to-back suplex followed by an elbow drop for a near fall. Inamura with a side head lock while Oba watches on MONITOR in LOCKER ROOM. Troy with forearms and Inamura with a shoulder but Troy stays on is feet.
Inamura goes into a sumo stance and he sends Troy against the ropes. Troy with a side slam for a near fall. Inamura clotheslines Troy over the top rope to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Troy with a running body block and a splash. Troy with another splash. Troy with a third splash for a near fall. Troy tells Inamura to get up and he goes for a World’s Strongest Slam and he gets a near fall. Troy with an abdominal stretch but Inamura sends Troy shoulder first into the ring post. Inamura with chops and forearms. Inamura with a shoulder back and Troy with a Boss Man Slam for a near fall. Inamura gets his knees up on a splash attempt by Troy. Inamura with strikes and a series of Irish whips. Inamura with a slam and another slam. Inamura goes up top and he sets for the frog splash and he hits it for the three count.
Winner: Yoshiki Inamura
After the match, Oba Femi comes out for the contractually obligated stare down.
Back at the ring, Je’Von Evans hits a springboard cutter.
Not to be upstaged, we resume the stare down.
Jordynne Grace makes her way in the back.

We are back and next week, Hank and Tank defend the titles against Shawn Spears and Niko Vance. Ricky Saints has the Vanity Project Gauntlet Match. Joe Hendry and Mike Santana face Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe. Tavion Heights faces Charlie Dempsey in a Tavion’s Status in NQCC Match.
Jordynne Grace makes her way to the ring.
Jordynne says she wants to be completely honest. This is the hardest thing she has done. She says she thrives under pressure and the bigger the battle, the bigger the win. She is going to walk into Evolution, not just for WWE, but for Women’s Wrestling. This time she is not watching from the sidelines, she is part of it. She is going to make history with the best female wrestlers in the world. She says she has to be something she is terrified about. She has to be vulnerable.
Jordynne asks if she is good enough to be here? Does she belong in the WWE? A lot of you know her journey. She did not grow up saying she was born to be a WWE superstar, but she did everything she had to do in order to get here. She says she became someone they could not ignore. At Evolution, she is going to beat Jacy Jayne and remind herself who she is.
Jacy Jayne interrupts and she is joined by Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx.
Jacy asks Jordynne if she is done with her pitiful sob story? She congratulates Jordynne on this being the highlight of her career. You can bench press more than her, but you cannot carry the division like Jacy can. Continue to flex your muscles until a title drops into your arms. It won’t be the NXT Women’s Championship and it won’t happen at Evolution. Jacy says she is at the top of her game while you say she is the most vulnerable champion.
You and Blake Monroe are cut from the same cloth. You think you can walk in here and cut the line.
Jordynne tells Jacy to do a favor and shut up. You shocked the world when you won the title. Jordynne says she won’t shock anyone when she wins the title.
Jacy punches Jordynne and Jordynne fights back but Fallon and Jazmyn take care of Jordynne.
Blake Monroe’s music plays and she comes to the ring and takes care of Jacy, Fallon, and Jazmyn. Jordynne with a spinebuster to Jacy.
Ava comes out and she calms Jacy down and tells her to listen to what she has to say. You want something done about Jordynne and Blake.
At the Great American Bash, Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne will face Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe.
Fallon and Jacy go to the ring and they are stopped by Blake and Jordynne.
