WWE SmackDown Viewership for June 27 – The June 27, episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.45 million viewers on the USA Network, according to Wrestlenomics. The number represents a slight decrease from the 1.524 million viewers the show pulled in on June 20.
Despite the dip in overall viewership, SmackDown continued to perform strongly in the key 18-49 demographic. Friday’s show posted a 0.41 rating in the demo, up from the previous week’s 0.38. With this figure, SmackDown once again claimed the top spot on all of cable television for the night.
The show featured final hype for the WWE Night of Champions premium live event and included high-profile appearances by CM Punk, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Jacob Fatu, among others.
On digital platforms, CM Punk once again proved to be a top draw. His full “Basic Thuganomics” rap segment aimed at John Cena topped WWE’s YouTube numbers for the episode with 1.8 million views. Interestingly, another clip of the same segment — labeled under a slightly different title — also made the Top 5.
