We begin with a look back at WWE in Saudi Arabia over the weekend.
We are live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring to start the show.
Rhea welcomes everyone to Raw, with her special twist on the show. She says now that the Judgment Day is behind her, she is wondering what is next for her. She says with Evolution around the corner, she needs to get her priorities straight.
Iyo Sky’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Iyo tells Rhea she cannot have a show without Iyo Sky. You are wrong about one thing. You are not on top. Not without the title. Iyo says because she has this, Adam Pearce says that she can choose who to defend the title against at Evolution. Iyo speaks in Japanese and the crowd is fluent in Japanese because they applaud what she says. She says she wants to defend against the best. That means defending against Rhea Ripley.
Rhea tells Iyo she has nothing but respect for her. If that is what you want, then she wants Iyo to know that she will stop at nothing to get that back. Rhea tells Iyo if that is what you want, she wants Iyo to know that what happens at Evolution is what you wanted. At Evolution, Rhea Ripley versus Iyo Sky for the Women’s Championship. You’re on.
Backstage:
Dom sends Finn and JD to their match and AJ Styles shows up. Dom shows AJ his doctor’s note and he had a bit of a setback. Dom says Adam said if AJ touches Dom before he is cleared he doesn’t get his match. AJ looks at the note and he says it says that Dom is a punk ass. He says he will take the title and beat Dom so bad he will need a note from his doctor. Dom shows the note and walks away.
WWE World Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh)
Finn and Kofi start things off and Kofi offers bread to Finn but Finn slaps it away. Kofi has a kick blocked and Finn misses a clothesline. They lock up and Kofi offers a clean break but he swings at Finn in the corner. Finn with a kick to the midsection. Kofi with a back heel kick and a head butt. Kofi with a sunset flip and Finn rolls through because you don’t sunset flip Finn Balor (unless you are Rey Mysterio) and Finn with a drop kick. D tags in and JD with a drop toe hold and leg drop to the back of the head for a near fall. JD sends Kofi into the corner and follows with chops. JD wih a kick and he sends Kofi to the floor. JD with a kick to Kofi from the apron. JD with a boot to Woods. Kofi grabs JD when he goes for an Asai Moonsault. Woods tags in and hits a double stomp to the back.
Woods with a double sledge off the apron and a chop. Woods and JD exchange strikes on the floor and return to the ring. Woods gets a near fall. Woods with a chop and JD with a kick. Woods with forearms and he kicks JD after the referee warns him and Finn approaches on the apron. Woods puts JD on the turnbuckles and he chops JD. Woods with punches when JD tries to fight back. Kofi distracts the referee and JD stops Woods and head butts him to the mat. Kofi misses a splash and hits the ring post. JD with a cross body for a near fall. Woods stops JD from making the tag and JD with a kick but Kofi pulls Finn off the apron.
Kofi tags in and hits a back senton hile Woods holds JD on the apron. Kofi goes up top and he hits a chop for a near fall. Kofi punches JD. Woods tags in and he Irish whips JD and he kicks Woods and elbows Kofi. They exchange chops and Woods with kicks and a knee followed by a chop. Woods goes for a power bomb but JD counters with an X Factor and both are down. Kofi tags in and he stops JD from making the tag. JD kicks Kofi away and Finn tags in with a forearm to Kofi and a clothesline to Woods. Finn with double leg take downs and double stomps. Finn gets a near fall on Kofi. Finn with a chop to Kofi in the corner. Finn with an Irish whip but Kofi with a pendulum kick. Kofi misses a move off the turnbuckles and Finn with sling blade. Finn sets for a drop kick but Kofi with a leaping curb stomp.
Woods and JD tag in and JD sends Woods to the floor and JD hits an Asai Moonsault. They return to the ring and JD goes up top and goes for a moonsault but Woods gets his boots up. Woods goes for an O’Connor Roll but Finn makes the tag and the referee does not make the count. JD holds Woods and Finn goes for Coup De Grace but Woods moves. Woods with a kick and he gets Finn up and tags in Kofi for Midnight Hour but they can only get a near fall. Kofi sets for Trouble in Paradise but Finn moves. Kofi with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. JD punches Kofi on the kick out. Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Woods hits Finn in the back of the head with the title belt and Kofi can only get a near fall.
Woods tags in and he goes up top but Finn hot shots Kofi and it crotches Woods. JD tags in and he goes off Kofi’s back and he kind of leaps to the turnbuckles and JD with Spanish Fly. JD gets a near fall when Kofi breaks up the cover. Kofi knocks Finn off the apron and he misses a pescado. Finn with sling blade to Kofi. JD with a boot to Woods. JD with a moonsault and Finn with Coup de Grace for the three count.
Winners: Finn Balor and JD McDonagh (new champions)
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is with Bayleey and she asks about what happened last week. Bayley says she is still focused on the title. She says she should be the new champion but Lyra got in her business. Lyra shows up and she says Bayley won’t talk to her or text her back but she can talk about. Bayley doesn’t want Lyra to apologize to her. Lyra says she wanted to apologize to her. She wants Bayley back to the way things were before Wrestlemania. You are a different person. She says it is personal between her and Becky. Bayley says it is personal between them and it has been for ten years. Adam Paerce shows up and says they will settle it in the ring tonight to see who is the number one contender.
- Byron Saxton is with Grayson Waller on the Ludwig Kaiser Concourse Interview Spot. Byron asks about Waller and Theory. Waller says he is trying to stir the pot. The truth is he is not here to waste his time talking about Austin Theory. He is going to give his flowers to the New Day. He says he is shocked they lost the tag titles. He says the Hornswoggle look-alikes found their pot of gold. You have turned your backs on the New Day. He says you booed them because they looked out for each other and cut Big E out of the group. He was dead weight on their backs and they became successful. We can learn from the New Day, especially him.

Backstage:
Michael Cole mentions what happened last week between Penta and Chad Gable and we see what happened. We see Chad telling The Creeds and Ivy he needs them to keep things going. Adam shows up and wishes Chad the best in his recovery and wishes him luck. Adam asks if this means we won’t see El Grande Americano either. Chad says he keeps a busy schedule but you never know. He tells Ivy and the Creeds not to led the American Made success wane. Brutus says he will be lost without Chad and Chad tells them to listen to Ivy.
Backstage:
Finn and JD show up to interrupt Adam and Nick. Finn says he has an idea about the Women’s Tag Titles. He says Raquel has done a great job winning and defending the titles. They shouldn’t strip her of the titles, but find a new partner. He suggests Roxanne. Adam says they are going to confer and Adam says they will allow it, under one condition. Nick says they will have to prove that they are worthy champions. They will defend the titles against a team from Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. Finn accepts the deal. Nick says they are on the same page and Adam says for now.
Sheamus vs. Rusev
They have words for each other and Rusev pushes Sheamus before locking up. They go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Rusev pushes Sheamus away. Sheamus with a side head lock and Rusev goes for a shoulder tackle with no impact. Rusev tries again with the same result. They exchange punches and forearms. Sheamus sends Rusev into the turnbuckles and he punches Rusev. Rusev with a clothesline and he goes for a hip toss but Sheamus blocks it and connects with a clothesline. Sheamus with a double fish hook. Rusev kicks Sheamus in the corner and Sheamus punches Rusev after the referee pulls Rusev out of the corner. Sheamus with punches from the turnbuckles but Rusev with a power bomb.
Sheamus goes to the floor and Rusev is held back by the referee. Sheamus with punches and forearms. Rusev with punches and then he goes off the apron and Sheamus catches Rusev and hits a power slam on the floor. Rusev returns to the ring and Sheamus kicks him in the ribs. Sheamus with a punch.and European uppercut. They exchange punches. Sheamus with an Irish whip and he misses a shoulder when Rusev moves and Sheamus hits the ring post. Rusev hangs Sheamus over the apron and he kicks Sheamus. Rusev with foerarms across the chest. Sheamus punches Rusev and Rusev stomps on the ankle and kicks Sheamus in the back. Rusev with kicks and Sheamus with chops. Rusev chokes Sheams in the ropes and eh applies a rear chin lock.
Rusev with a reverse chin lock. Rusev with a knee and snap mare while holding on to the reverse chin lock. Sheamus runs Rusev into the corner but Rusev with a series of kicks. Rusev kicks Sheamus to the corner and slaps him. Sheamus starts to smile and he wants more. Rusev kicks Sheamus and Sheamus wants more. Sheamus slaps Rusev and punches him. Sheamus with running double sledges and a clothesline in the corner followed by a uranage back breaker. Sheamus goes up top and she hits a knee drop and gets a near fall. Rusev drops Sheamus on the top rope to avoid the forearms and he hits a spinning heel kick followed by a fallaway slam for a near fall.
Rusev charges into boots in the corner. Sheamus pulls himself up to the turnbukles and Rusev with a forearm to stop Sheamus. Rusev sets for a superplex and hits it. Rusev sends Sheamus to the floor and he follows. Rusev kicks Sheamus in the neck. Sheamus reverses an Irish whip and he sends Rusev into the ring steps. Sheamus goes up top and hits a clothesline. Sheamus gets a near fall. Sheamus goes for the Cloverleaf and Rusev kicks Sheamus away. Rusev with more kicks and an elbow drop. Rusev with a forearm to the temple. Rusev sets for a power bomb but Sheamus gets Rusev up for an Air Raid Crash.
Rusev with head butts and they exchange forearms. They go to punches and Rusev with a double thrust to the throat and kicks. Rusev is caught by Sheamus for a tilt-a-whirl power slam. Rusev goes to the apron and Sheamus grabs Rusev for forearms. Sheamus sets for the Brogue Kick. Rusev avoids it and Rusev with a back body drop and round kicks. Sheamus with a jumping knee and a running knee for a near fall. Sheamus sets for a power bomb but Rusev blocks it. Rusev with a uranage and a jumping thrust kick. Rusev looks around and stomps into the Accolade. Sheamus tries to fight out of the hold and he gets Rusev on his shoulders.
Sheamus runs Rusev into the turnbuckles and they fall through the ropes to the floor. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick on the floor and both men are down. The referee starts his count. Sheamus starts to move while Rusev is down. Sheamus gets back into the ring and Rusev beats the ten count. Rusev and Sheamus are in the corner on the apron. Sheamus tries to send Rusev into the ring post but Rusev does it to Sheamus. Rusev tries to suplex Sheamus to the floor. Sheamus gets Rusev up but Rusev gets back to his ffeet. Rusev with a thumb to the eye and he exposes the turnbuckle and pulls Sheamus into the exposed turnbuckle. Rusev with a jumping thrust kick for the three count.
Winner: Rusev
– Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis talk about Evolution. There will be a Battle Royal where the winner gets a title match in Paris.
Backstage:
Jackie is with Ivy and the Creeds. Ivy says they have a lot of work to do. Ivy says she is going to be in the battle royal for Evolution. El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser under the mask) shows up and he nods before walking away. Ivy tells Jackie no comment about what they just saw.
Jackie walks over to Sami Zayn Kross interrupts and attacks Sami and he sends him into the storage case. He tells Sami to say it. Kross gets a lead pip and he hits Sami in the ribs. Officials show up to hold out their hands and Kross walks away.
- Byron is with Stephanie Vaquer in the interview concourse. He asks about the battle royal at Evolution. She says she is excited about the news because it is an incredible opportunity for her. She didn’t come to Raw to be in second place. She came here to be La Primera. Byron asks which champion would she choose if she wins. Stephanie says she respects everyone but she will either face Iyo or Rhea. She says she has conquered championships all over the planet. It is part of who she is. She says she will not stop until she becomes the WWE Women’s Champion.
In the Arena:
Gunther makes his way to the ring.
Gunther says he came out here to talk about Bill Goldberg. He is impressed with the video package highlighting his greatest moments. It was violent, brutal, and destructive. Just like his matches, it was summed up in three minutes. Bill Goldberg has every right to claim he is the most feared man of his generation. Gunther says he is not afraid of this Bill Goldberg. He is a fifty-eight year old man trying to live off his coat tails. Bill is not capable of taking the title from him. He says he can beat Bill in under three minutes. He says he will take his time, outclass him, and blow him up in front of everyone near and dear to him.
He says he heard Bill says he doesn’t like bullies. Too bad you bumped into the biggest bully around. He will bully Bill and push him around like a piece of crap. There is nothing you are going to be able to do. He says he will expose that Bill never had it.
After Bill, he will be walking out here to raise the questsion ‘Who’s Next?’
Gunther smiles as Seth Rollins’ music interrupts and he comes out with Paul Heyman. The crowd warbles to Seth’s music and he is handed the mic by Paul.
Gunther says by the look on Paul’s face it looks like he is happy to travel so far to achieve nothing.
Seth says Gunther is not paying attention. He says they are out here to congratulate Gunther for winning the title. If you had been paying attention, you would understand. They did not go to Night of Champions to cash in the title on John Cena. He has said for two years, if he has breath in his lungs, CM Punk will not be a World Champion. They flew halfway across the world to stand on that. As it stands, this contract was going to be an all out assault on both World Titles.
Seth says congratulations champ.
CM Punk’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Punk and Seth exchange punches and Seth rakes the eyes. Punk with a back elbow and Seth goes into the crowd.
Punk knocks down Gunther and has some words for him before he leaves the ring.
Seth is in the crowd and LA Knight attacks Seth from behind and he sends Seth into a railing and then they fight into a conveniently blocked off area on the concourse. Knight with knees and then he is sent into the bar. Knight with a punch. Seth with a rake of the eyes and he runs away.
Backstage:
Judgment Day is with all of the belts. Raquel asks if they are replacing Liv since she is rehabbing. Finn says they are not replacing her. It is going to take time to rehab. She says she wants Raquel to still be champion. Finn asks for a vote to add Roxanne to the group. Finn and JD vote yes. Dom says he needs to talk to Liv but Finn tells him to vote. Dom says it is an alleged yes. Raquel tells her to keep up her end of the bargain. Roxanne says she will do whatever they need while Liv is out. She says she will get revenge on Kairi for injuring Liv.
We Hear from Kairi Sane
Kairi Sane says she does not talk big. She says she fights with heart and honor. That is why she is here. Sh sys she has been the NXT Women’s Champion and a two time Women’s Tag Team Champion. To all of the champions, she will have all of your gold. She says she is not afraid of anything. No matter how man times she is knocked down, she gets up. She says she does not run from the storm, she runs into it. She says the Pirate Princess is here.
Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria in a Number One Contender Match for the Women’s US Title
They lock up and Bayley with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Lyra stays on her feet. Bayley succeeds the second time. Lyra with a hip toss. Bayley blocks a hip toss but Lyra with an arm drag take down for a near all. Bayley and Lyra push each other and Bayley with a take down and she goes for a Boston Crab but Lyra powers out of the hold. Lyra runs into a back elbow. Bayley comes off the turnbuckles with an arm drag and she gets a near fall. Lyra with a back slide for a near fall. Lyra with an Iris whip but Bayley with a shoulder. Bayley goes for an elbow off the turnbuckles but Lyra blocks it. Lyra flips out of the corner and Bayley sends Lyra into the turnbuckles. Bayley with a head scissors and Lyra with a cartwheel. Lyra blocks a catapult but Bayley finally sends her into the turnbuckles. Bayley with a Boston Crab.
Lyra counters with a rollup for a near fall. Both go for a cross body at the same time and both go down. Lyra with shoulders to the midsection. Lyra with a forearm to the back and kicks. Lyra with a snap mare and a crucifix for a near fall. Lyra with a front face lock. Bayley grabs the leg and hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Bayley with a boot to the back. Bayley with forearms in the corner but Lyra with a hard Irish whip. Bayley with punches and forearms. Lyra with a series of kicks and she misses an enzuigiri. Bayley sends Lyra into the ropes and hits a cutter. Lyra falls to the floor. Lyra knocks Bayley down and she goes up top. Bayley stops Lyra and connects with forearms. Bayley with forearms as she sets for a superplex. Bayley hits it and Lyra with an inside cradle for a near fall.
Bayley with clotheslines and a belly-to-back suplex but Lyra rolls to the floor. Bayley follows. Bayley comes off the turnbuckles and hits an elbow to the back. They return to the ring and Bayley gets a near fall. Bayley gets Lyra up but Lyra with an arm drag to counter a side slam. Lyra with a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Lyra goes for a tornado DDT but Bayley pushes Lyra away. Bayley with a sunset flip power bomb into the turnbuckles for a near fall. Bayley with a running shoulder into the corner. Bayley with more shoulders. Lyra with a Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Lyra with a waist lock and Bayley blocks the German suplex. Bayley and Lyra bump heads. Bayley and Lyra exchange punches and forearms. Lyra and Bayley go for clotheslines at the same time. Bayley escapes a Geman suplex and Lyra escapes Rose Plant.
They exchange near falls. Lyra with a rollup and bridge for a three count when both have their shoulders down.
Draw
Atter th match Bayley and Lyra exchange punches and fight to the floor. Bayley drops Lyra on the apron and Bayley and Lyra go into the ringside barrier. They fight into the time keeper’s area and into the crowd. Bayley puts Lyra on a storage case and officials have to pull them off.
– LA Knight faces Seth Rollins at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Backstage:
Jackie stops Punk in the back and she asks about what went on. Punk says Seth’s knees haven’t worked that well in year. He knows not to mess with him. He has receipts for everyone. Punk goes up to LA Knight and he tells him to get to the back of the line against Seth. Knight says he is the line when it comes to Seth Rollins.
Backstage:
Sami is in the back getting checked out. Penta shows up and he asks if he is okay. Sami says that he is good and he will see Penta out there.
– Paul tells Bronson that Seth is preparing Plan B on the plane. Bron says the plan is for him to squash everybody.
Penta & Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed
Bron and Penta start things off and they lock up. Bron with a take down. Penta gets in Bron’s face and they exchange punches. Bron with shoulders in the corner. Bron with an Irish whip and Penta floats over and its a head scissors take down. Penta with a kick in the corner and he kicks Bron in the head. Penta with a head scissors take down. Sami tags in and Penta with an arm wringer. Sami with an elbow off the turnbuckles and he chops Bron. Bron with a shot to the midsection.
Bron with a side head lock and Sami with punches. Bron with a running clothesline. Reed tags in and he punches Sami in the back. Reed with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Reed with an other Irish whip but he runs into a back elbow. Smai with a kick and a forearm off the turnbuckles. Penta tags in and Reed blocks a double Irish whip. Sami and Penta with forearms. Penta with a forearm off Sami’s back. Penta kicks Bron to the floor. Sami and Penta strut and they hit stereo flip dives.
Penta chops Reed and he comes off the ropes with a springboard move but Reed catches Penta and hits a World’s Strongest Slam followed by punches. Reed sends Penta into the turnbuckles. Reed with a head butt and Bron gets in some shots while Reed talks to the referee. Reed with a chop.Bron with a suplex to Penta for a near fall and he does some push ups. Bron with crossfaces to Penta and an Irish whip. Reed tags in and punches Penta. Reed works on the neck and follows with forearms to the back. Penta with a kick to Reed followed by an enzuigiri. Sami tags in and he punches Reed on the turnbuckles. Sami with a clothesline and it does not move Reed. He has the same result on a second one. Reed with a kick to the ribs. Sami with a springboard leap frog and he sends Reed over the top rope to the floor. Sami sends Bron to the floor and he hits an Arabian Press onto Bron and Reed.
Sami sends Reed back into the ring and he goes up top. Reed with a punch to Sami to stop him. Reed sets for a superplex but Sami blocks it and he connects with forearms. Sami with a sunset flip power bomb for a near fall. Reed with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Bron tags in and Sami punches his way off Reed’s shoulders. Sami punches Bron off the turnbuckles. Reed sends Sami to the floor and Bron with a clothesline off the apron onto Sami on the announce table. They return to the ring and Bron with a hard Irish whip. Bron taunts Penta and connects with knees to Sami’s ribs. Bron stomps on the midsection. Reed tags in and he punches Sami. Sami with forearms to Reed but Reed with a head butt to stop Sami. Reed with a back senton. Bron tags in and he punches Sami in the ribs. Bron stands over Sami and applies a waist lock.
Sami with elbows as he tries to make the tag. Bron with a forearm to the back but Sami sends Bron over the top rope to the floor. Bron stops Sami from making the tag but Sami kicks Bron away. Reed tags in and he misses a back senton. Bron and Penta tag in and Penta with a kick and a cross body. Penta avoids a clothesline and he hits a wraparound bulldog. Penta with kicks to Reed and a hesitation headstand drop kick in the corner to Bron. Penta sets for The Sacrifce and he hits it. Penta sets for the Penta Driver but Bron escapes and he presses Penta over is head but Penta counters with a DDT and he gets a near fall. Penta goes to the turnbuckles and Paul distracts the referee. Reed crotches Penta. Reed tags in and Bron with a Frankensteiner followed by a power bomb but Sami breaks up the cover.
Reed disposes of Zayn and goes for Tsunami but Penta moves sending Reed crashing to the mat. Zayn and Breakker are tagged in and Zayn hits an exploder into the corner on Breakker. Zayn goes for The Helluva kick but Breakker clotheslines him. Breakker goes to spear Zayn but Zayn hits an elbow and covers Breakker. Reed breaks the pin and sends Penta out of the ring. In the ring, Zayn tries for the Blue Thunder Bomb on Reed but can’t. Reed is then suplexed by Zayn and Breakker then spears Zayn and gets the win.
Winners: Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed
After the match, Penta is speared by Breakker. Reed and Breakker go to beat up Zayn and Penta some more, when Jey Uso comes out with a chair. Uso clocks Breakker with a chair a couple times and then turns his attention to Reed. Uso gets in the ring and punches Reed and then superkicks him. Uso then gets the chair and smacks Reed with the chair sending him out of the ring. Uso helps Zayn to his feet and Penta roll back in the ring and the trio celebrate in the ring as we get the end credits.

6/30 WWE RAW Preview
Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw is stacked with championship implications, returning superstars, and fallout from Night of Champions.
