Ryback on What It Would Take for a WWE Return – Former WWE Superstar Ryback recently addressed why he hasn’t returned to WWE since departing in 2016. In an Instagram video, he stated that he has moved on from the situation, emphasizing that he has found peace with his life and health. He also wished WWE well and expressed gratitude for his time in the company.
Despite his positive outlook, Ryback made it clear that for a WWE return to even be a possibility, significant wrongs would need to be corrected. According to him, it would likely take Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson getting involved to facilitate such a resolution.
“Now that Vince [McMahon] is gone, I am well, well moved on past the situation,” Ryback stated. “I wish them all the best. I am doing great. I am at peace with everything on that, and I won what I needed to win. They’re doing good. I’m doing good, and life is good. I’ve got my health back. I’ve been blessed, very grateful for everything, for something like that to even remotely happen.”
He continued, “Some serious wrongs need to be righted, and it would most, honestly take The Rock getting involved for something to get done.”
Since leaving WWE, Ryback has focused on podcasting, fitness, and social media engagement. While he has teased a return to wrestling in the past, his comments suggest that a WWE comeback remains unlikely unless major changes take place.
