Katana Chance & Kayden Carter Join WWE SmackDown Roster – Katana Chance and Kayden Carter have officially made the jump to WWE SmackDown. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions were featured in a backstage segment on the February 7 episode of SmackDown, where they spoke with General Manager Nick Aldis, confirming their move to the blue brand. Reports suggest that their transfer was a last-minute deal, finalized before the closure of the WWE transfer window.
The high-energy duo has made a name for themselves across multiple WWE brands. In NXT, they captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships and later went on to hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after being called up to RAW.
Recently, Chance and Carter had a brief return to NXT, competing in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match on the December 31, 2024, episode of NXT. Before that, Chance’s last match on RAW was on December 2, when she competed in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament. Meanwhile, Carter last wrestled on RAW on December 16.
Now officially part of SmackDown, the duo looks to reestablish themselves in the tag team division. With the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships currently held by Asuka & Kairi Sane, Chance and Carter could be gearing up for another championship run.
