WWE SummerSlam 2025 to Be a Two-Night Event? – WWE is coming off a thrilling SummerSlam with notable title changes and the highly anticipated return of Roman Reigns. Looking ahead, WWE has confirmed that SummerSlam will be a two-night event starting August 1 and 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This change is expected to establish SummerSlam as a two-night show annually after 2026, mirroring the shift WrestleMania made in 2020.
Speculation has been growing about whether next year’s SummerSlam might also adopt the two-night format. Triple H was asked about this during the post-SummerSlam press conference and hinted that it could be a possibility.
Dave Meltzer’s latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that while 2026 has been pegged as the official start for two-night SummerSlams, there is strong speculation that WWE might implement the format for the 2025 event as well. WWE’s response to inquiries about the 2025 SummerSlam was a vague “Stay tuned,” with one source suggesting that a two-night format for next year is “almost definite.”
WWE’s next premium live event, Bash in Berlin, is scheduled for August 31.
