Kenny Omega Vs Konosuke Takeshita Announced For AEW All Out – In an announcement made during the AEW All In media scrum, Tony Khan confirmed that Kenny Omega is set to face Konosuke Takeshita at AEW All Out.
During the media scrum, Don Callis put forth the suggestion for this match to take place at AEW All Out, and Khan embraced the idea, officially locking in the matchup.
It’s worth noting that Takeshita secured a victory over Omega in the trios bout held at AEW All In. Takeshita teamed up with Jay White & Juice Robinson, while Omega joined forces with Kota Ibushi & Hangman Page.
The lead-up to this encounter saw Callis consistently pursuing Takeshita’s involvement throughout the year. The relationship between Callis and Takeshita was solidified when Takeshita attacked Omega at the conclusion of the Anarchy in the Arena event during AEW Double or Nothing.
