InDex Gets Married – Dexter Lumis Speaks For The First Time – The wedding of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis closed out the brand new WWE NXT 2.0 relaunch just after Tommaso Ciampa won the NXT Championship in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
It was a typical WWE wedding as you would expect. The bride was announced as Indi Ophelia Hartwell and the groom as Dexter Gaylord Lumis. Lumis quieted everyone who objected to the marriage by showing an axe hidden under his jacket. Hartwell was about to talk about a time when Lumis snuck into her bed when Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae were sleeping but Gargano stopped her from saying more.
Lumis gave a thumbs up for his vows. The priest tried to get Lumis to say some words but Lumis choked him out so Beth Pheonix took it upon herself to officiate the wedding. When it was time to say the “I Do’s,” Lumis spoke for the first time and said, “I do.”
After the wedding, they cut to the back with Ciampa watching on the monitor. Bron Breakker and Ciampa shook hands but had a tense staredown to end the show.
