Update On Sasha Banks’ WWE Return – Sasha Banks has been absent from WWE ever since the SmackDown after WrestleMania 37, and her long-awaited and highly-anticipated return could have been possibly revealed.
Tonight’s SmackDown takes place from the Target Center in Minneapolis and the venue may have uncovered her return date on their official website. Banks is listed as one of the WWE Superstars scheduled to appear on the show, facing her WrestleMania opponent and current champion, Bianca Belair.
However, this isn’t the first time Banks was advertised to return. Toyota Center in Houston had the ‘Boss’ listed to appear at the July 16 SmackDown. Since the WWE did not advertise Banks return at all, her presence for tonight’s show remains strongly in doubt. If happens, it will likely be the dark main event.
Speaking of Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair spoke with Khal of Complex and says the two have unfinished business.
“Sasha and I have unfinished business. At WrestleMania, that night, I walked out as SmackDown Women’s Champion, but I always say that night was so much bigger than me. It was so much bigger than Sasha. It was so much bigger than just winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship. As you can see, we won an ESPY from it. That’s how big that one was. At the end of the day, nobody really lost that night.”
“I’m just waiting for when we can face each other again when the only thing that’s on the line is the title. I’m a fighting champion. I want to defend my title as much as possible and make magic with as many people as possible.”
