Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens is now official for the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Owens will win possession of Braun’s Money In the Bank briefcase if Braun loses the match in any way.
Kevin Owens proposed the match after telling Strowman that he had nothing left to prove to him, but he would take everything away from him. Baron Corbin came out to handle the situation by order of Stephanie McMahon, and they all met backstage with Kurt Angle. Owens said he wanted the match because Angle let things get out of control, and explained why he wanted the match. Angle said he wasn’t going to do it, but Stephanie interjected and said it was a great idea and set the match up.
