AEW Dynamite Results – September 16, 2026 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage results for AEW Dynamite on September 16, live from the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.

Eight‑Man Tag Team Match Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Christian Cage and Adam Copeland opened the show against FTR, Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. The heels tried to isolate Allin until Copeland shifted momentum with a hot tag. A close call at a count of two on Knight kept the match tight. Copeland closed the match with the final shot to secure the win.

Backstage: Death Riders Jon Moxley said whatever happens at All Out will fall on Will Ospreay. Gabe Kidd said he wanted to chop Ospreay into pieces. PAC added that they would not let Ospreay off the hook.

Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne Winner: Chris Jericho Jericho controlled most of the match until Wayne caught him with a quick roll‑up attempt for only a two count. Jericho regained control and finished Wayne clean. After the bell, Wayne attacked Jericho with a chair.

Excalibur announced Mercedes Mone is not medically cleared for All Out. She will return to face the winner of Willow Nightingale vs. THEKLA at the PPV.

Backstage: United Empire Francesco Akira vowed to kick the hell out of the Death Riders.

El Bueno, El Malo y El Guapo vs. Conglomeration Bandido, Hangman Page and Brody King faced Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy. Page pushed the pace early, while Cassidy slowed things down with counters. A near fall at a count of two on O’Reilly wasn’t enough. King finished the match with a heavy shot for the win.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Myles Hawkins Winner: Tommaso Ciampa Before the match, Ciampa called out Kazuchika Okada for All Out. Hawkins tried to jump Ciampa at the bell, but Ciampa shut him down quickly. A close call at only a two count kept Hawkins alive briefly, but Ciampa finished him moments later.

Backstage, Swerve Strickland and the New Level were shown laid out by The Demand.

Jack Perry Segment Perry came to the ring and called out Samoa Joe, demanding Joe return soon.

Lena Kross vs. Jamie Hayter Winner: Lena Kross Hayter landed early offense until Kross cut her off and took control. A near fall at a count of two on Hayter wasn’t enough. Kross finished the match clean. Megan Bayne and Alex Windsor were at ringside.

Andrade Vignette A video aired highlighting the Andrade dynasty and Las Metalicos.

Backstage: Brawling Birds They said they planned to beat the piss out of Divine Dominion at All Out.

Death Riders vs. United Empire – TBS Title Match Jon Moxley, PAC and Gabe Kidd (with Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta) faced Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo and Francesco Akira in the main event. Ospreay and PAC opened with fast counters until Kidd dragged the match into a brawl. Andrade landed a heavy shot that produced a close call at a count of two. Moxley answered with a rebound lariat that shifted momentum. Kidd connected with the decisive strike that allowed the Death Riders to score the win.

The Dogs and the Death Riders beat down United Empire to close the broadcast.
