Ryan Garcia Says WWE Should Have Given Him a Better Segment on RAW

Ryan Garcia has reflected on his recent WWE cameo, admitting he wishes the company had given him a stronger segment during his appearance on the July 27 episode of WWE RAW.

Garcia was featured as a guest of TKO during the show, where Joe Hendry and Danhausen performed a musical bit aimed at The Judgment Day. The segment ended with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh attacking Hendry and Danhausen, and Garcia joined in by smashing a guitar over Hendry’s back.

Speaking with ESNews, Garcia said he had envisioned something closer to Floyd Mayweather’s past WWE appearances. He believes a different creative approach would have changed how fans reacted to his involvement.

“That’s what I want to see,” Garcia said. “I wish they would have given me a better segment, because then I wouldn’t have got as much hate. You know?”

Garcia didn’t specify what type of segment he hoped for, but made it clear he felt the presentation contributed to the backlash he received from some WWE fans. His cameo sparked immediate criticism online, with many pointing to his past controversies and questioning WWE’s decision to feature him.

Garcia’s comments suggest he expected a more impactful or dramatic role, and that the musical‑comedy setup did not match what he had envisioned. For now, his WWE appearance remains a one‑off moment — and one he clearly believes could have gone differently with a stronger creative direction.
