Longtime WWE Executive Patrick Dooley Quietly Departs the Company

A significant behind‑the‑scenes change has taken place at WWE, as longtime executive Patrick Dooley has quietly exited the company.

Dooley served as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and Corporate Development, a role that placed him near the top of the company’s business operations.

Dooley joined WWE in 2018 and steadily expanded his responsibilities over the years. Internally, he was widely regarded as one of WWE’s strongest business minds and was considered Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s closest advisor on matters outside of creative.

One of Dooley’s most notable contributions was his involvement in WWE’s acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA. He also played a key role in the company’s efforts to bring AAA programming to FOX Latin America, helping expand WWE’s international footprint.

His departure was not publicly announced and took place quietly in July, closing out a tenure that saw him influence several major corporate initiatives.
