TNA iMPACT Results – April 16, 2026

TNA iMPACT Results – April 16, 2026 – Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt are on commentary as the show opens with highlights from last Saturday’s Rebellion pay‑per‑view. Notably, the recap of the main event skips over Alisha’s heel turn.

Nic Nemeth walks down to the commentary desk with his trophy, joining the booth to lend his “expert opinion” on the opening match.

AJ Francis vs. KC Navarro

The entrance music for both men is barely audible — another round of TNA sound issues. Hannifan highlights Navarro’s remarkable recovery, noting he was cleared to compete three months ahead of schedule.

Navarro avoids Francis early, but only for so long. Francis grabs him for a chokeslam, but Navarro counters with a rana. Navarro low‑bridges Francis to the floor and goes for a dive, but Francis catches him hanging in the ropes and drives him face‑first into the apron. Francis follows by lawn‑darting Navarro into the ring post.

Back inside, Francis whips Navarro into the buckles so hard he ricochets to the mat. Navarro tries another dive, but Francis catches him again. Navarro slips free and attempts an Olympic Slam — which goes about as well as expected given the size difference. Francis continues tossing Navarro around, then charges with so much force on a knee strike that he flips over the top rope and crashes to the floor — the Tennessee Whiskey.

Navarro finally mounts offense with a jawbreaker and dropkick. He tries to whip Francis out of the corner, but Francis blocks it with ease. Francis goes for an Oklahoma Stampede, but Navarro counters into a spinning DDT. Navarro follows with running corner dropkicks, then manages to get Francis standing on the middle ropes and hits an Olympic Slam from the second rope for a near fall.

Navarro struggles to climb the top rope and immediately eats a spear from Francis. Francis looks over at Nemeth, then sets Navarro up for the chokeslam. He lifts him — but Navarro rolls through into a cradle and scores the shocking upset.

Winner: KC Navarro (7:01)

Rehwoldt tries to argue that Nemeth distracted Francis, but it’s not exactly convincing. And honestly, at this point, it might be time to unleash Francis as a full‑blown monster and let him crush people on his way to a major championship.

EC3 Promo — “This Isn’t a Comeback, It’s a Crusade”

EC3 appears in a pre‑tape and declares that this isn’t a comeback — it’s a crusade. And that crusade begins with Eric Young.

The System In‑Ring Segment

The System come out to gloat despite going 1–2 at Rebellion and proudly welcoming Alisha Edwards back into the fold. Brian Myers comments on the crowd reaction — or the lack of one — and brags about beating a pair of 50‑year‑olds who were already banged up from a table match days (or weeks) earlier.

Eddie Edwards grabs the mic and blames his loss on Moose. Alisha takes the mic next. “Do you wanna know something?” Crowd: “NO!”

She brags about how The System played Moose like a fool — even though Moose saw the plan coming a mile away.

Josh Alexander cuts her off, shouting that Leon Slater cheated to beat him by using the title belt Alexander himself brought into the ring. (He didn’t really use it — Alexander landed on it.) Alexander insists he’s owed a title shot.

This brings out Leon Slater, who tells Alexander to shut up. Slater threatens to start slapping people and mocks Alexander’s “boo boo face.” He reminds everyone he’s on the verge of becoming the longest‑reigning X‑Division Champion ever. Eddie Edwards fires back, saying that won’t happen because Slater is “just like Moose.”

Naturally, this brings out Moose, who calls The System “b!tches.”

Slater has had enough talking — and honestly, so has everyone else — and challenges Edwards and Alexander to a tag match against him and Moose.

Daria Rae storms out, yelling, “Shut up, I’m talking!” and shuts the idea down. Slater insults her by saying Santino was a better authority figure. That pushes her over the edge — she books the match:

Slater & Moose vs. The Entire System.

Backstage — Elijah Demands a Rematch

Elijah confronts Daria Rae and demands a rematch with Frankie Kazarian. Rae calls Kazarian to set it up. Frankie immediately says no. Daria remains a one‑note authority figure, and the segment ends with nothing resolved.

Tasha Steelz (w/ Order 4) vs. Jada Stone

Before the match, Ali cuts a promo declaring that every champion in TNA is a loser who needed a second chance. He doesn’t need second chances — he gives second chances. He announces the TNA International Championship Open Challenge, open to any TNA wrestler or independent talent from around the world.

The match begins with a couple of awkward exchanges, and unfortunately it only gets more awkward from there. Steelz and Stone botch a headscissors attempt, then Steelz awkwardly escapes a bulldog. On the floor, Stone jumps off the apron for a rana, but both women simply collapse — commentary generously calls it a powerbomb, though it clearly wasn’t.

After a long commercial break, Steelz gets a near fall off a DDT. Stone answers with a jackknife cover for two. Steelz applies a chinlock, Stone fights out, and Steelz yanks her down by the hair. Steelz stomps Stone in the corner and chokes her with a boot. Stone finally fires back with forearms and a string of clotheslines. She hits a slingblade, an enzuigiri, and a meteora off the middle rope. A split‑legged moonsault follows, but only for two.

Steelz responds with a hangman’s neckbreaker for a near fall. Stone runs into an elbow, and Steelz attempts an awkward handspring over the ropes and over Stone’s back. Steelz hits a German suplex, but Stone rebounds with a DDT off the ropes.

Both women are visibly winded now. Stone hits a Northern Lights suplex, then a face‑first suplex. She climbs again, but Ali distracts her. Steelz yanks Stone off the ropes into a cutter for a near fall. Steelz tosses Stone outside, and Order 4 surrounds her — but before they can act, the referee dives out and ejects them from ringside.

Back inside, Stone hits the Spark Stunner — an Oscutter with an added handspring that makes the move feel disjointed, and Steelz isn’t quite in position, stepping into it — but it lands well enough for the three‑count.

Winner: Jada Stone

Back to the Under Realm

Victoria Crawford is shown running through the Under Realm — which has now fully devolved into a low‑budget haunted house maze. Fog, dim lighting, random props… and none of it looks particularly stable.

Rosemary eventually finds Joseph Park, who informs her that the divorce has been handled. He then casually mentions he’s heading “up north,” complete with the wink‑wink, nudge‑nudge delivery.

A random belly dancer with glowing red eyes appears for no explained reason.

Tessa Blanchard approaches a voodoo witch, demanding to know how to escape this place. Instead of answers, she gets a fight — the two start brawling while the blood‑covered Bunny‑costumed figure sits silently in a pew, watching.

To Be Continued.

Backstage — Ryan Nemeth, Nic Nemeth & The System

Ryan Nemeth is clearly jealous of the attention Nic Nemeth was giving KC Navarro earlier. The System walk back into frame to mock both brothers, which leads to Bear Bronson stepping up and challenging Nic Nemeth to a match.

The question now hangs in the air: is this building toward a Ryan vs. Nic Nemeth feud?

Mike Santana — “Keeps It a Buck”

Mike Santana enters through the crowd wearing a Yankees jersey. Rebellion went exactly how he expected. Santana notes he has put down every former world champion placed in front of him, and now he’s ready to hand out opportunities.

He calls out “Mr. All Night Long” Rich Swann.

Swann appears immediately. He gives Santana his props, reminding everyone he once reached the top of the industry as TNA World Champion. Swann says if he steps into the ring with Santana, people might be talking about the match for “weeks,” “months,” maybe even “years.” He promises he’ll fight Santana “all night long” if that’s what it takes.

Santana calls out Daria Rae to make the match official for next week.

TNA Injury Report

  • Trey Miguel is OUT with a severe laceration.
  • The Hardys are also OUT with “significant wear and tear,” which honestly feels like it could be their diagnosis every single week at this point.
  • Indi Hartwell has been CLEARED, but she remains suspended for shoving Daria Rae last week.
  • EC3 has been evaluated and cleared for his return match against Eric Young.

Lei Ying Li Speaks

Lei Ying Li says she didn’t even know what wrestling was when she came to America. She trained with Xia Brookside and became best friends with her — and then everything changed on Saturday. Li doesn’t understand why she lost her title and her best friend in the same night.

Xia Brookside Responds… or Doesn’t

Cut to Xia Brookside backstage, stone‑faced. Gia Miller asks her why. Brookside walks away without answering.

EC3 vs. Eric Young

Eric Young jumps EC3 during his entrance and the fight is on immediately. They brawl into the ring, where Young claws at EC3’s face and clamps on a chinlock. EC3 breaks free and hits a Thesz Press. He follows with a side headlock — his big offensive answer in the early going.

And then the match completely unravels.

EC3 is “blinded” by an eye poke. He goes to clothesline Young out of the ring, and the referee is supposed to get caught in the chaos — either going out instead or going out with him. Whatever the intended spot was, it doesn’t happen. Nobody goes over the top rope. Everything stalls.

So EC3 backs up and tries it again, this time literally grabbing the referee and tossing him out of the ring, using the ref’s body to push Young out at the same time. Hannifan is on commentary insisting EC3 “couldn’t see what he was doing” and that it was all an accident.

A second referee runs out and immediately throws the match out.

Match Result: No Contest

After the bell, EC3 tries to finish Young off with a chair, wrapping it around his head. Despite a swarm of referees and security, Young manages to hurl EC3 into the steel steps with the chair still around his neck. The best visual of the entire segment is the original referee, crouched down covering his head — either selling the injury or trying to avoid watching the rest of this disaster unfold.

Final Chapter of the Undead Realm

Despite having a live crowd in an arena, we cut back once again to Rosemary’s haunted‑house‑turned‑Under‑Realm — still looking like a low‑budget maze of props and fog.

A figure named “Frank” appears, wielding an axe and wearing what might be a Scarecrow mask. They even squeeze in a Catalina Wine Mixer joke, because apparently Step Brothers is still hot in 2026.

The belly dancer — or someone meant to resemble one — drifts through Mara Sadé and Allie, with Victoria Crawford also wandering the scene. A screen in the background displays “Shudder,” and if this is meant to be cross‑promotion for the horror streaming service, it still doesn’t make these segments any less baffling.

Tessa Blanchard finds Rosemary, demanding the way out. Rosemary refuses, so they brawl. Blanchard eventually chains Rosemary to a chair.

More shots of the belly dancer. For a moment it seems like she might be Mila Moore, but then Blanchard finds Moore and Crawford elsewhere, so that theory dies quickly.

Allie and Sadé locate Rosemary and free her. “That’s my friend!” Allie screams as she charges after Blanchard. Rosemary, however, has managed to rip out a chunk of Blanchard’s hair — and she laughs about it.

Blanchard’s crew finds James Mitchell, who shows them “the door,” and they leave. The belly dancer then finds Mitchell, and the two wander off together.

We return to the arena — now darkened. Smoke pours from under the ring as Blanchard’s crew claw their way up from beneath the canvas. Rosemary and Sadé enter through the stage, and the fight breaks out again.

The crowd gives this less than zero reaction.

Blanchard’s crew dispose of Sadé and surround Rosemary. The lights go out. Strange footage plays on the Sliva Screen before Allie’s name appears. Allie — who is supposed to be dead — emerges and chases off Blanchard’s crew.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt act shocked that Allie is back, despite five straight weeks of vignettes featuring her.

The Hardys — “Broken Season Is Coming”

In a parking garage, The Hardys cut a promo. Matt promises that it will soon be “Broken Season,” hinting at a full return to his most unhinged persona.

Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Bear Bronson & Cedric Alexander (w/ Alisha Edwards) vs. Leon Slater & Moose

This is a 4‑on‑2 handicap match, booked specifically to hammer home that Daria Rae is an evil authority figure who stacks the deck against the babyfaces.

Moose gets the predictable hometown‑style pop because — as Hannifan notes — he played football at Syracuse University. At this point it feels like every city TNA visits has either Moose or AJ Francis tied to it.

Slater and Alexander start things off. Moose tags in quickly and mauls Alexander with a headbutt. He follows with a uranage, a senton, and a kip‑up. The crowd loves it.

Bear Bronson tries to jump Moose but gets dumped to the floor, where Moose hits a tope. Myers charges Moose on the outside, but Moose ducks and Myers spears Alexander instead. Alexander tries a dive, but Moose blocks it and throws him into the rest of The System. Slater then hits his signature flip dive over the ringpost onto the pile.

Back in the ring, Moose hits Alexander with a spear — but Eddie Edwards blindsides him with the Boston Knee Party. This gives The System control. Bronson tags in and contributes almost nothing. He blocks a sunset flip by sitting on Moose’s chest. Edwards tags in, but Moose overpowers him until Moose misses a corner charge.

Moose eventually gets the hot tag to Slater, who runs wild on Myers and Edwards. Slater hits a leg lariat on Edwards, then a handspring back elbow that wipes out both Bronson and Myers. A crossbody on Edwards gets a near fall. Edwards thumbs Slater in the eye, Bronson hits an avalanche, Myers follows with a Blue Thunder Bomb, and Alexander caps it with a frog splash — but Moose breaks up the pin.

The fight spills outside. Moose goes for a boot on Edwards but accidentally wipes out a ringside security guard. Edwards and Moose knock each other out on the floor.

Slater is left alone against the remaining three members of The System. He holds out for about thirty seconds, but eventually Alexander counters a bulldog into the Lumbar Check, and that’s enough to put Slater down.

Winners: The System
