AEW Collision: Spring BreakThru Results – April 16, 2026

AEW Collision: Spring BreakThru opens with Tony Schiavone welcoming us to tonight’s Thursday show. Adam Copeland’s music hits immediately, and he walks out to kick off the broadcast — sporting a black eye.

Adam Copeland In‑Ring Promo

Copeland steps into the ring and lists off the various injuries he suffered in the match with FTR at Dynasty. He notes that Christian Cage isn’t here tonight because he’s getting MRIs on his forearm.

He addresses FTR’s claim that Copeland and Christian will never get another title shot. Copeland says their rivalry is about more than championships — they aren’t just going to “walk away.” Both he and Christian were retired for years and had to fight to get back, and now they’re going to “take their pound of flesh.”

FTR come out with Stokely Hathaway. Before Copeland can react, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta attack him from behind, turning it into a four‑on‑one beatdown. This brings out The Young Bucks, who hit the ring and make the save. The Bucks take out FTR first, then Roppongi Vice, and Copeland finishes by spearing Beretta.

Copeland and The Young Bucks shake hands in the ring.

Backstage — Jack Perry Interview

Jack Perry is backstage and tells Don Callis to pick his “favorite goon out of the bunch” for a match on Dynamite next week in Portland — with the National Championship on the line.

The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. The Rascalz (Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz)

The crowd chants “The Elite” before the bell even rings.

It’s all Young Bucks early, with Matt and Nick hitting rapid‑fire double‑team offense on both Reed and Wentz. They isolate Reed for an extended stretch until he finally reaches Wentz for the hot tag. Wentz fires off a series of kicks and a suplex, and The Rascalz follow with dueling suicide dives. With momentum fully on their side, they take control heading into the commercial break.

As we return, Nick Jackson fights back and makes the hot tag to Matt. Matt hits his trademark rolling Northern Lights suplexes on Wentz, then grabs Reed as well and suplexes both men on the final rotation.

The Bucks hit a pair of corner bulldogs and high‑five each other mid‑air on the way down. A stereo flying elbow drop and swanton follow for a near fall. They transition into dueling Sharpshooters, but The Rascalz escape and swing the match back their way. Myron Reed hits a Flame On to the outside and follows with a No Cap splash for a near fall.

The Bucks recover, superkick Wentz out of the ring, and hit the BTE Trigger, but Wentz dives back in to break the pin. Moments later, the Bucks catch Wentz and finish him with the Meltzer Driver/TK Driver (Schiavone calls it the Meltzer Driver) for the win.

Winners: The Young Bucks

Post‑Match — Bullet Club Gold Strikes

Clark Connors and David Finlay hit the ring and attack The Young Bucks. Dezmond Xavier runs out to help but gets dropped as well. Connors and Finlay continue the assault on both teams, hitting a suplex/top‑rope spear combination on Wentz.

Finlay grabs a mic and says they “might be down one dog,” but the mission stays the same — they want bodies and gold. Connors adds that they’re sending a message to the entire tag team division.

Divine Dominion Vignette

A short vignette airs for Divine Dominion, presented with an Ancient Rome aesthetic — ominous, stylized, and theatrical.

AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator Match
The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) vs. The Lethal Swirl (Blake Christian, Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson)

The Conglomeration make their entrance with all three titles stuffed into backpacks, mirroring Orange Cassidy’s usual championship presentation.

The babyfaces run wild early. Commentary notes that Roderick Strong is “running plays for the team.” Cassidy climbs the ropes for his fake‑out elbow drop spot — top rope, second rope, first rope — before delivering the lazy falling elbow. He then goes into his hands‑in‑pockets routine with Blake Christian.

Cassidy hits a Stun Dog Millionaire on Christian, but Jay Lethal attacks Kyle O’Reilly on the apron, targeting the knee. This shifts momentum and allows the heels to take control. They celebrate with strutting just before the commercial break.

Back from break, The Swirl are working over Orange. Cassidy gently strolls to the corner and makes the hot tag to Strong, who unloads with a barrage of backbreakers. Commentary points out that KOR is struggling to get back to the apron because of his knee.

Strong continues the momentum until tagging in O’Reilly, who fires off kicks and a knee strike before getting cut off. Lethal hits The King’s Elbow on KOR for a near fall, broken up by Cassidy. Blake Christian and Orange trade light kicks that escalate into real strikes, and chaos breaks out. Lethal traps KOR in a Figure Four, but it’s broken.

Lee Johnson enters for the heels, but KOR immediately snatches him into an ankle lock. Strong and Cassidy block the save attempt, and Johnson taps out.

Winners: The Conglomeration

Backstage — HOOK & Anthony Bowens

HOOK is being filmed by Katsuyori Shibata when he runs into Anthony Bowens. Bowens wants to know if HOOK is in the Opps or not. HOOK tells him he’ll give him an answer next week.

Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida vs. Big Anne & Danika Della Rouge

Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness, and Excalibur focus on Shida’s recent behavior since returning, with Nigel noting that Shida seems to be the driving force of this new pairing with Statlander.

Shida looks like she’s setting up for the Katana, but instead tags in Statlander, who hits Thursday Night Fever to secure the win.

As a team, Statlander and Shida show no dissension at all — everything appears smooth between them for now.

Winners: Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida

AEW Continental Championship
Jon Moxley vs. Nick Wayne

Renee Paquette is at ringside and talks about hometown star Nick Wayne wrestling in an AEW ring for the first time in six months. He’s been active in Ring of Honor, but this is his AEW return after breaking his foot. Excalibur adds that Wayne is announced for next month’s Best of the Super Juniors — his second appearance in the tournament.

Excalibur also highlights the legacy of Buddy Wayne, Nick’s late father, and his influence on wrestlers from the area like Kevin Knight and Darby Allin.

Wayne antagonizes Moxley early until Mox drops him with a brutal knife‑edge chop. Several more chops follow. Mox gets annoyed with Wayne’s arrogance and takes a short walk around ringside. He returns, offers a handshake, Wayne accepts — and Mox immediately yanks him into a piledriver. We head to commercial on that note.

Back from break, Mox is beating Wayne down. He suplexes him and ties him up in a mat submission. Wayne gets a boot up as Mox charges the corner and follows with a second‑rope dropkick. They exchange headbutts — a questionable strategy for Wayne.

We get the ten‑minute call.

Wayne hits a Sliced Bread for two. The crowd splits into dueling “Let’s go Moxley” and “Let’s go Nick” chants. Wayne hits a superkick, Mox answers with a huge lariat. Wayne fires back with a Code Red for another near fall. Mox hits a cutter for two and transitions into a neck crank. Wayne breaks it with a finger to the eye.

Mox dares Wayne to hit him, firing Wayne up. Mox bites him in the face and tries another piledriver. Wayne spits in his face, enraging Mox, but then lands a high roundhouse kick. Mox rolls outside, and Wayne follows with a diving moonsault.

Moxley is busted open beside his right eye.

Mox wraps Wayne in a Bulldog Choke. The crowd wills Wayne to his feet — he appears to escape, but Mox drags him right back into it before releasing.

We get the fifteen‑minute announcement. Wayne only needs five more minutes to earn a title shot. But moments later, Moxley plants him with a Death Rider and ends it.

Winner: Jon Moxley

Backstage — Don Callis & Kazuchika Okada

Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada are interviewed backstage. Callis tells Okada he doesn’t have to take the match with Konosuke Takeshita. Okada immediately shuts that down — he wants the match.

PAC vs. “Blackheart” Lio Rush

Lio Rush comes out mumbling to himself, pacing and whispering like he’s talking to an opponent who isn’t there. Excalibur compares this “Blackheart” persona to Keiji Mutoh and The Great Muta.

PAC and the referee give Rush space to finish his Gollum‑style muttering in the corner. When PAC finally steps in, he kicks Rush square in the face — but Rush pops right back up.

Rush makes PAC chase him around ringside, and PAC actually looks unsettled by Rush’s erratic behavior. Rush then blindsides Daniel Garcia at ringside. PAC attacks Rush while he’s on top of Garcia, and Garcia boots Rush repeatedly while the referee is tied up with PAC in the ring.

PAC spikes Rush with a piledriver on the outside, and we head to commercial.

Back from break, PAC appears ready for the Black Arrow, but Rush suddenly springs to life, making more strange sounds. He gallops around the ring on all fours before hitting a suicide dive.

At one point, Garcia starts tossing water on Rush — maybe trying to wake him up, maybe some kind of ritual, maybe both.

PAC eventually levels Rush with a huge clothesline and locks in the Brutalizer. Rush smiles as he fades out, and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: PAC

Backstage Vignette — Bandido

A Wild West–themed vignette airs for Bandido, complete with stylized frontier visuals and outlaw energy.

Brody King, Mistico & Mascara Dorada vs. Ricky Gibson, KC Riff & Cole Rivera

A loud “F— ICE” chant breaks out as the bell rings.

Brody King immediately chops everyone in sight, flattening the entire opposing team. Mistico and Mascara Dorada follow with dives to the outside, wiping out their opponents. Back in the ring, Brody King plants Rivera with a Gonzo Bomb for the quick squash victory.

Winners: Brody King, Mistico & Mascara Dorada

Backstage — Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander

Shida is ecstatic about their win earlier in the night, while Kris Statlander is noticeably more reserved. Mina Shirakawa walks in and says she needs to talk to Shida. Shirakawa says she doesn’t trust her — Shida said things about Harley, and her kendo stick was found near Toni Storm when she was attacked.

They argue in Japanese until Shida storms off.

Video Recap — Darby Allin Becomes AEW World Champion

A recap video airs showing Darby Allin defeating MJF on Dynamite to win the AEW World Championship, highlighting the emotional celebration that closed the show.

AEW Women’s World Championship
Thekla (c) vs. Alex Windsor

Nigel McGuinness and Excalibur immediately bring up Thekla’s rope‑assisted pin on Jamie Hayter at Dynasty, as well as her history of being fired from Stardom for attacking the company president. The tone is set: Thekla is dangerous, unpredictable, and absolutely willing to cheat.

Windsor takes control early with a big clothesline out of the corner, following with a heavy suplex. She strings together a Russian leg sweep and another clothesline for a two count. Thekla bails to the outside, trips Windsor on the apron, and seizes control. She climbs the ropes and dives onto Windsor on the floor as we head to commercial.

Back from break, Thekla is firmly in command, lighting up Windsor with corner chops. Windsor fights back and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for two. She follows with a stiff headbutt and locks in a Sharpshooter until Thekla reaches the ropes.

Thekla rebounds, springing off the ropes into an Octopus Stretch, but Windsor manages to grab the ropes again.

Windsor climbs to the top, but Thekla cuts her off. They battle on the turnbuckle until Thekla suddenly pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. Windsor blocks the first swing and tries for a sunset bomb, but Thekla cracks her with the knucks — the referee never sees it. Thekla follows with a foot stomp and covers for the three‑count.

Winner and STILL AEW Women’s World Champion: Thekla

Thekla celebrates with the title held high as Collision: Spring BreakThru goes off the air.
