John Cena Not Planned for WWE Hall of Fame 2026 Class

John Cena Not Planned for WWE Hall of Fame 2026 Class – John Cena is not expected to be part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, despite wrapping up his in-ring career in December 2025 after a 23-year run with the company. The 17-time World Champion had widely been viewed as a leading candidate to headline this year’s ceremony following his retirement match.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, Cena is not currently scheduled to be inducted. Instead, Stephanie McMahon is expected to serve as the headliner for the 2026 class. McMahon has been a central figure in WWE for decades and recently returned to the spotlight with her podcast, What’s Your Story?, further increasing her visibility ahead of WrestleMania season.

The report also notes that WWE is planning to include another “Immortal Moments” induction as part of this year’s ceremony. The category is designed to honor a defining match, segment, or moment in wrestling history, rather than an individual performer or tag team.

Last year’s Hall of Fame ceremony was headlined by Paul “Triple H” Levesque. He was joined in the Class of 2025 by “The Total Package” Lex Luger and Michelle McCool, who was recognized for her impact on the women’s division.

The Natural Disasters, Earthquake and Typhoon, were honored in the tag team category, while the Legacy wing expanded with the inductions of Kamala, Dory Funk Sr., and “The Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff.

The 2025 ceremony also introduced the “Immortal Moment” concept, with the first honor going to the WrestleMania 13 submission match between Bret “The Hitman” Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. CM Punk inducted the moment, highlighting its lasting influence on the industry and its role in shaping WWE’s Attitude Era.
