Elio LeFleur Wins WWE Speed Title

Elio LeFleur Wins WWE Speed Title – Elio LeFleur has earned his first championship in WWE, winning the Men’s Speed Title on the February 24 episode of NXT. The French standout defeated Jasper Troy and Eli Knight in a fast‑paced three‑way match that closed with a dramatic final sequence fitting for the brand’s most time‑sensitive title.

With less than 90 seconds remaining, LeFleur hit his finishing move on Troy just as Knight connected with a moonsault. As Knight tried to recover from the landing, LeFleur swooped in and pinned Troy to secure the victory and claim the championship for the first time in his WWE career.

Troy had held the title since October, when he defeated El Grande Americano to become the first NXT wrestler to win the championship. In the most recent tournament, both Knight and LeFleur advanced to the finals, but their match ended in a time‑limit draw. Interim GM Robert Stone then announced that the next title bout would be a Triple Threat with an extended seven‑minute limit instead of the usual five.

LeFleur’s win marks the first of two title changes on the show. Earlier in the night, The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor) defeated DarkState to capture the NXT Tag Team Championship, kicking off the episode with a major shift in the tag division.

With his victory, LeFleur not only claims his first WWE title but also cements himself as a rising force within NXT’s rapidly evolving landscape.
