Bobby Lashley has not competed since November 2025, but he now says he is ready to step back into the ring.
Lashley’s most recent match took place at AEW Full Gear 2025, where he entered the Casino Gauntlet Match. After that appearance, he was absent from AEW programming. In December, he did not compete in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale. At the time, MVP stated that Lashley was dealing with an injury. A later report from Fightful Select indicated the injury was legitimate and that Lashley was expected to miss a significant amount of time.
During a recent interview with Jamal Niaz of Monopoly Events, Lashley discussed the Hurt Syndicate and its presence in AEW. He praised MVP and Shelton Benjamin, describing them as equal partners within the group.
“We just have a great group and we’re all friends, so we all pull for each other. So any time one of us is down, the other pulls us up and I think right now they’re pulling me up,” Lashley said. “They’re yanking me back in, they said it’s ready.”
Lashley also addressed the speculation about his condition and rejected the idea that he remains injured.
“We’re ready to go back out there and win some titles. So I am healed,” Lashley said. “Everybody thought I was hurt? I am not hurt,” Lashley said. “You can’t hurt the All Mighty.”
His comments suggest that while he may have been sidelined previously, he has now recovered. Lashley used the word “healed,” which points to a past injury. At the same time, he stated clearly that he is not hurt now. The exact nature of the injury that kept him off AEW television has not been disclosed.
Based on his remarks, Lashley appears prepared to resume competition and pursue championships alongside the Hurt Syndicate.
