AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Set for New York

AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Set for New York – AEW is preparing for a major return to New York, and a new report suggests the company could stage one of its biggest pay-per-views at a venue it has never used before.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men reported that AEW is targeting Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens for Double or Nothing this spring. The event has not been officially confirmed by AEW, but the report generated immediate attention due to the building’s history and its lack of prior wrestling events. Zarian shared the update on social media, writing, “AEW brings one of its landmark PPV events to New York City this Spring. Double or Nothing is scheduled for Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, NYC!”

If the plan moves forward, it would mark the first time a wrestling promotion has run Louis Armstrong Stadium. The venue is primarily known for tennis and typically holds around 14,000 fans in its standard configuration. While it has never hosted pro wrestling, it did stage a Ring Magazine–sanctioned boxing event in July 2025, showing the building can accommodate combat sports.

AEW has an established history in the New York market, most notably at Arthur Ashe Stadium with its annual Grand Slam events. Bringing Double or Nothing to Queens would signal a shift for a pay-per-view traditionally linked to Las Vegas and other West Coast locations.

The 2025 edition of Double or Nothing was held at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, continuing AEW’s recent pattern of rotating host cities. As of now, no official date, venue confirmation, or match lineup has been announced for this year’s show.
