Ridge Holland Cleared For Unrestricted Exercise After Surgery – Former WWE Star Ridge Holland, real name Luke Menzies, shared a positive health update on Friday, revealing that he has been medically cleared to resume unrestricted physical exercise.

Menzies took to social media to announce the news, confirming that he has reached a major recovery milestone following recent surgery. “As of today I’m fully cleared to return to unrestricted physical exercise after my 2 level cervical disc replacement I had 8 weeks ago…UNREAL. I just need to get these screws out of my foot next. You can call me the Bionic Yorkshireman!” The update signals progress in his rehabilitation after dealing with multiple serious injuries.

Menzies originally suffered a Lisfranc injury during a match against Moose at a TNA television taping on September 27, 2025. The event took place at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The foot injury required surgical intervention, and screws were inserted as part of the recovery process. According to his latest comments, those screws still need to be removed before he can fully move forward.

In addition to the foot injury, Menzies underwent a two-level cervical disc replacement eight weeks ago. Being cleared for unrestricted physical activity following such a procedure is a significant step, particularly for someone intending to return to professional wrestling. Despite the progress, he is still expected to be out of in-ring action for at least seven months.

Menzies’ WWE tenure came to an abrupt end earlier this year. WWE terminated his contract ahead of its scheduled expiration date of November 14 following comments he made on social media. In a post that later drew attention, Menzies stated that he felt “hung out to dry” by the company and expressed concern that he might not be able to make his mortgage payments. The comments reportedly contributed to WWE’s decision to part ways with him.

Although his contract was ended early, it has been reported that WWE is still expected to cover medical expenses related to his injuries during his recovery period. With his latest clearance, Menzies has taken an important step toward a potential return to the ring once his rehabilitation is complete.
