Darby Allin’s Status Remains Uncertain Following Hospitalization – As the story surrounding Darby Allin’s hospitalization continues to unfold, new details have surfaced regarding the injury he suffered during last week’s AEW Dynamite. The update follows AEW’s on-air announcement that Allin was taken to a hospital after his Continental Classic match against Kevin Knight.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez reported that Allin was indeed hurt during the match with Knight, though the exact moment remains unclear. Alvarez mentioned that he speculated the injury may have occurred during the coast-to-coast dropkick delivered by Knight, but stressed that he could not confirm that this was the cause. What has been confirmed is that Allin was transported to a hospital after the match.

Alvarez clarified that Allin was not admitted for the full week. He was cleared to leave the hospital and eventually traveled home. As of now, the nature of the injury has not been disclosed, and no official diagnosis has been made public.

Regarding Allin’s future in the Continental Classic, Alvarez said that AEW’s on-air comment about expecting more information on Saturday’s Collision appears to be genuine. Whether Allin will be able to continue in the tournament is still unknown, and his participation will depend entirely on how he is progressing by the weekend.

Allin currently sits at zero points in the Gold League, adding even more uncertainty to his path in the tournament. AEW fans will have to wait until Collision for the next update on his condition and tournament status.
